[SET COMMENTS]

The most common step to defeat Reshiram is to block the sun, and by utilizing Sunny Day, Reshiram puts up a fight against this strategy. Kyogre is a common switch-in to Reshiram because of its Drizzle ability, and in sun, its full powered Water Spout does 36.95% - 43.98%. In return, 4/0 Kyogre takes 79.23% - 93.85% from Reshiram's STAB Draco Meteor. Tyranitar, another common switch-in, loses its Special Defense boost from sandstorm and is now easily OHKOed by Focus Blast. As for any other Reshiram set, sun makes it a total monster, and this set is no exception; even Chansey, the best special sponge in the game, cannot stand in Reshiram's path; she risks being 2HKOed by a sun-boosted Blue Flare after Stealth Rock and one layer of Spikes, whereas 252/200 Dialga is immediately OHKOed. Draco Meteor is a great backup STAB move, as it hits extremely hard and boasts perfect synergy with Blue Flare thanks to Reshiram's outstanding ability in Turboblaze. Focus Blast allows Reshiram to blast through Tyranitar, Rock Arceus, and Dialga in rain.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

The EV spread grants Reshiram maximum firepower, and allows it to hit as hard as it can. However, if Reshiram's mediocre Speed is bothering you, a Timid nature is viable, exchanging gunpower for Speed. Life Orb is the preferred item to boost all of Reshiram's attacks while still retaining the ability to change moves, but Heat Rock is a good option, as it increases the amount of turns sun will be shining. A bulkier EV spread of 248 HP / 252 SpA / 8 Spe can be used with Leftovers. This EV spread allows Reshiram to survive a Spacial Rend from Choice Scarf Palkia (if Stealth Rock is absent) and OHKO back with Draco Meteor.

Dragon Pulse can be used over Draco Meteor, trading power for accuracy and no drop in offensive potential. SolarBeam can be used over Focus Blast to pack a safer attack against Tyranitar and Kyogre, as Focus Blast and Draco Meteor might miss. Flame Charge can also be used to boost Reshiram's Speed, mimicking a Choice Scarf boost. Substitute eases prediction and takes advantage of Reshiram's remarkable coverage. Stone Edge hits Ho-Oh, who can fully stop Reshiram thanks to its huge base Special Defense, but does nothing else.

Entry hazards are mandatory for any Reshiram to work, and this set is no exception. With a single layer of Spikes and Stealth Rock, Chansey is 2HKOed by a sun-boosted Blue Flare. Due to its amazing coverage and its ability to change the weather, Reshiram forces a ton of Pokemon to switch, including Tyranitar and Kyogre. Forretress is a remarkable teammate; it boasts perfect synergy with Reshiram, can spin away entry hazards that bother Reshiram, can lay down all entry hazards, and can utilize Volt Switch to bring Reshiram in safely. Pairing Reshiram with Groudon is a must; it provides the greatly appreciated sun thanks to its Drought ability and brings Stealth Rock support, which, as said, is mandatory for Reshiram's sweep. Reshiram's lifespan is already short due to its weakness to entry hazards and Life Orb; thus, Reshiram appreciates Wish support. Prime candidates for this role would be Jirachi, Chansey, and Blissey. Thunder Wave support is appreciated, as Reshiram's average Speed means it loses to the fast-paced Pokemon in Ubers: Salamence, Palkia, Choice Scarf Kyogre, and Terrakion, though only Palkia and Kyogre can switch in safely to a sun-boosted Blue Flare.

Thanks to its high base Special Defense, typing, and access to a reliable recovery move in Roost, Ho-Oh makes a perfect counter. It can take advantage of Reshiram's sun, hit back very hard with its STAB Brave Bird, and Roost off the damage it has taken. Rock Arceus can switch into Blue Flare easily and can OHKO Reshiram with its super effective STAB move after Stealth Rock damage. However, without sand, Rock Arceus has a chance of being OHKOed by Focus Blast, and it will not enjoy taking Draco Meteor. Palkia and Choice Scarf Kyogre are faster and can OHKO Reshiram with their STAB moves, though Kyogre needs rain support. Salamence, Terrakion, Garchomp, and Rayquaza cannot switch into a sun-boosted Blue Flare, but are capable of revenge killing Reshiram with their powerful STAB moves. Entry hazards and status conditions are a pain to any Reshiram, as they diminish its lifespan very quickly. Groudon can take on Ho-Oh, Salamence, Terrakion, Garchomp, and Rayquaza; Fire Punch Groudon in particular also beats Ferrothorn, Forretress, and Skarmory, whose entry hazards put a lot of pressure on Reshiram. However, Groudon cannot take repeated hits due to the lack of reliable recovery, so a Wish passer such as Chansey or Blissey is greatly advised. A Palkia of your own can easily switch into Kyogre and can Speed tie with opposing Palkia. If you don't want to risk losing the Speed tie, a Haban Berry ensures Palkia will survive any of the opposing Palkia's attacks.
