Hmmm...How shall I go about this...Ah yes...Let's beat up a Gengar...

Zaborg: Psychic (Severus, chuck Severus into the water) > Thunderbolt (Severus, zap the water & fry him) > Psychic (Severus)
IF Severus faints, THEN replace all remaining actions with Hidden Power (Boy 409)

motoR: Thunderbolt (Severus, zap the water & fry him) > Shadow Ball (Severus) > Thunderbolt (Severus, zap the water & fry him)
IF Severus faints, THEN replace all remaining actions with Signal Beam (Boy 409)

Roleplaying for the win, I guess, since water conducts electricity, Severus is literally going to have a shocking experience, eh?

Well, it appears IAR sure turned the tables fast! Even before we began, both members of his team instantly became stronger! MotoR changed form, exchanging his Ghost type for superior stats, and evolving his Zaborg right before our eyes! I wonder if Dummy has any tricks he's gonna pull, because he's going to need them in this battle!

Welcome everyone to the sure-to-be epic match between Its_A_Random and Dummy007 everybody! Before the fight begins, IAR's ghost (somehow) enters a lawn mower... I don't get it either, but its Pokemon, so lets move on. What's more, IAR's Elekid is evolving (at least this makes sense) into Electabuzz! Sure, its energy is lower than normal, but Dummy is sure to be in trouble now!

As we begin, Dummy's Severus curses out motoR, and now it can't use status moves! Not even a second after Severus finished, he was lifted into the air and slammed into the oasis below. It appears that Zaborg's Psychic has struck hard! As soon as Gengar was about to stand up and dry himself up, he was zapped by Thunderbolt! It appears that the water that Severus was in is actually amplifying Electric-type attacks! Against two Electric types, he is in nothing but huge trouble! What will Dummy do now? Why, Toxic motoR to slowly drain its health of course!

As Severus is already struggling to keep up with IAR's constant onslaughts of super-effective attacks, it launches a giant Bomb of Sludge straight at motoR! Huh? It appears that Severus' Life Orb is glowing, and we all know what that means! Thanks to its newly acquired Grass-typing, that attack is going to hurt so much more! However, the unphased Zaborg just goes ahead and charges up a lightning bolt between its prongs and fires it straight at Severus! MotoR decides to mix things up a bit from last action and goes for a Shadow Ball! Due to it no longer being boosted by Ghost typing, Severus is actually able to hang in there! Boy 409 finally decides to go on the offensive and Bite motoR like the Bug type he is, as Toxic is beginning to deal some damage!

Severus knew he would be going down soon, activated his Life Orb again, and sent the most powerful Shadow Ball he could, straight at motoR! The blob connected straight in the mower's weak spot, scoring a critical hit, slamming motoR right into the grandstands! Good thing we don't have a full house, or we might have gotten sued (and no one wants that)! After seeing his friend tossed about, Zaborg thought we would get the perfect revenge by slamming Severus into the grandstands to! Unfortunately, Severus was about to hit some of the spectators! Good thing he caught himself and turned invisible, huh? However, even that isn't enough to save the Gengar from the massive damage from the attack, and Severus fainted from exhaustion! As motoR got up, dazed, he instantly targeted Boy 409 with a Signal Beam, almost confusing the little Swadloon, as well as knocking out a fair chunk of HP! Its not all good for IAR, though. As the saying goes, revenge is a dish best served cold, and this action is full of revenge, with Boy 409 hitting Zaborg with a boosted Payback!

Even though IAR has an advantage in terms of number of Pokemon left, Boy 409 is sturdy enough to survive more than a few hits from his opponents. Don't count Dummy007 out of this match yet, folks!

Roleplaying...Don't you love it? Anyways...Initiate operation keep motoR alive for long enough...

motoR: Uproar > Uproar > Uproar

Zaborg: Bodyblock (motoR) > Fire Punch (Boy 409) > Bodyblock (motoR)
IF Boy 409 uses Agility A1...

  • IF it was used to boost Speed, THEN change your course of action to Fire Punch (Boy 409) > Quick Attack + Bodyblock combo (Hit Boy 409, Bodyblock motoR) > N/A
  • IF it was used evasively, THEN change your course of action to Quick Attack (Boy 409) >Bodyblock (motoR) >Fire Punch (Boy 409)

Also, yes, the Bodyblock combo is legal (Even though it is a rather dirty move), just in case someone would like to object (I have proof). ;)

"Sorry, IAR, but Swadloon isn't limited to single-target attacks. You've got this, Boy 409!"

Summary:
Struggle Bug -> Evasive Agility -> Toxic Zaborg

Before we begin our round, Dummy can be heard yelling encouraging remarks to Boy 409, like any trainer would, but IAR seems to say he's... initiating operation keep motoR alive? But... Dummy007 should be the one calling missions! ITS A MAD HOUSE! A MAAAAD HOOUUSSE!!

After taking a few years of therapy after realizing that we were on Earth all along (sorry if I spoiled the 44-year-old film for you), its time to start Round 2! Zaborg instantly does a barrel roll to defend motoR from any direct hits that come its way! MotoR, perfectly content that it has a meatshield to take hits for it, jumps out from behind Zaborg (after Zaborg has covered his ears of course) and let out a mighty Uproar, dealing a sizable chunk to the little... lump... of bug. I don't even know how the hell to describe Swadloon besides cute, I mean, is it based off- HEY WAIT A MINUTE. God damn my rambling. Anyways, there's a battle going on! As soon as motoR made his retreat, Boy 409 shook himself about, sending out a Struggling, Bug-like vibration! When the attack didn't seem to do too much damage, their Special Attack stats fell down, and Zaborg's Bodyblock went to absolute waste!

Realizing his mistake from the last action, Zaborg shrugged off his damage and... what is this? Oh no, its Fire Punch! This just has bad news written all over it for Dummy... but wait! Right before Zaborg was about to hit, Boy 409 dissipated, and the Electabuzz fell to the ground! But... where's Boy?! Oh, there he is, right where he was before! I've seen this done before, its his Agility! However, as Boy sighed a sigh a relief from avoiding the dreaded 4x effective attack, nothing can stop the oncoming Uproar from motoR!

Zaborg, apparently not learning from his mistakes, decided to go ahead and protect motoR again. I guess IAR really wasn't kidding, he wants to leave motoR in this for as long as possible! Once again, motoR comes out of hiding to blast Boy 409 with Uproar, but with the stat drop from the earlier Struggle Bug, it just isn't doing much damage! It also appears that Dummy has caught on to IAR's plan, as instead of ordering Boy to attack, he orders him to fire off another Toxic!

Even though Boy 409 is running low on HP, motoR is also running low, and Zaborg is going to run out of energy fast! Can Dummy really turn this match around and topple IAR, or will the Gligar-in-a-suit man continue on to victory? Stay tuned viewers to find out!

Boy 409 fainted!

Wasting no time at all to order their actions, the weakened Pokemon on the field face each other, ready to beat the crap out of each other again! For the third time, Zaborg stations himself right in front of motoR. It seems that operation keep motoR alive is going to be a success after all! The protected party springs up behind his wall again, this time firing off a Signal Beam! It appears that Boy 409 can't stand up to all this for much longer, and Dummy's going to have to rely on more than Toxic to win this one! Now on the offense, Boy lunges at Zaborg, using Bug Bite not once, but twice! It appears that Zaborg has taken a ton of damage, and now he has an embarrassing itch!

Angered for having to scratch himself now, Zaborg jumped into the air, did a flip, cloaked his fist in Fire, and threw himself at Boy 409 (later, when asked why it was so dramatic, Zaborg responded "it was all for teh lulz"). Oh my! Boy 409 is reeling back in incredible pain now! Well that's what happens when you take a 4x effective attack to the dome! To make things worse, motoR collects a ball of shadows, and fires it straight at Boy 409! The poor Boy can barely hold on any more, and to make things worse, it can't even attack!

While Boy 409 is still trying to regain its balance from that last hit, Zaborg calmly collected himself, called on his Hidden Power, and slammed the ailing Swadloon with a blast of ice! Boy 409 was shot into the air, staying there for a few seconds, before finally crashing down into the ground. After the dust from the impact was blown away, Boy 409 was still laying motionless on the ground, with cartoon-like X's for eyes.

Its_A_Random is the winner!

GG guys, Bodyblock is so OP, as is Roleplaying. You were a good opponent, Dummy, but...yeah, Bodyblock so strongth.

Thanks for reffing, waterwarrior, much appreciated (Though Rotom actually gets 3 MC). (Ugh, why did I make this a Training Battle in the first place...)

gg, IAR. Bodyblock is pretty good (that and Swadloon has a really mediocre movepool). Thanks for the EC/MC and the not-actually-a-loss! Also, muchas gracias for the reffing, waterwarrior! Those 5 UC were well-earned. :D

(Oh, and for trash talk: GRASS > GROUND)
