Rittercat has sent me his team, so Rolf you can just release your Pokemon in the thread. You will release two, then Rittercat will release two and give their instructions, and finally Rolf will post instructions to his, and I'll ref. gl&hf everyone!

Sorry, I was on a school camp =(

Go Grace the Mienfoo and Shade the Nohface

Grace, dance wildly with swords, then vitally throw that metal durian into the hoop and hope it gets stuck, and finally, hit that Venonat with the edge of a stone.
Swords Dance -- Vital Throw Boyd into hoop -- Stone Edge Venonat
Shade, have a nice Yawn at that Venonat, then burn it with your ghostly Will-O-Wisp. Then, finally, Yawn at that Ferroseed
Yawn(Marcia) -- Will-O-Wisp (Marcia) -- Yawn (Boyd)

Okay kiddos, lets go!

Marcia, start by using Sleep Powder on Nohface, then set up a 15 HP Substitute. Finish by smacking Mienfoo with a PoisonPowder.

Boyd, this'll be fun. Start by using Hone Claws to sharpen those spikes. If that Mienfoo touches you, it's going to get quite the thrashing. Gyro Ball the poor thing if possible twice afterwards. If you can't get off a Gyro Ball for some reason, "Roll Out" of the situation, then smack Mienfoo with a Thunder Wave.

And so we finally get together on our little basketball court. Each trainer stands at one end, and finally Rolf opens by releasing Marcia the Venonat and Boyd the Ferroseed. Rittercat responds with Grace the Mienfoo and Shade the Nohface, and finally we have a battle on our hands. Grace the Mienfoo moves a long time before everyone else. He jumps up into the air and starts off a wild Swords Dance to sharpen his wits and mind at the start of the battle, and it boosts his attacking prowess significantly. Marcia then moves up to the centre of the court, or at least close enough to jump up and let off a Sleep Powder over Nohface. However, it unfortunately misses completely, leaving Shade free to Yawn at Marcia, lulling it into a tiredness that can only see it go to sleep in the near future. Boyd, following shortly behind everyone else, sits back on Rolf's side of the court, Honing his Claws to mirror Grace on the opposite side, preparing for the upcoming fight.

Next, Grace starts off the round again, this time jumping down from its perch where it was boosting silently to land near Boyd, and Vitally Throws Boyd into a Basketball Hoop, scoring two points and a lot of damage on Boyd, at the cost of hurting itself slightly on Boyd's Iron Barbs. Marcia then follows up again, this time by moving across to the side, creating a small doll which can Substitute for Marcia whenever the others attack her. Shade this time aims a bright Will-o-wisp at Marcia, but accidently its the substitute instead! This leaves Marcia not hurt by the attack, and the substitute is immune to burns anyway! Finally, Boyd finishes for a moment by using Gyro Ball against Grace, which from close range after Grace's attack before does a lot of damage.

Finally, Grace begins the end of the first round by striking with a Stone Edge against Marcia, which destroys the substitute utterly, leaving Marcia once again open to attack. In responce, Marcia jumps up over the opposition and releases some Poisonpowder over Grace, poisoning her badly. Shade then closes in again, Yawning at Boyd again to send her off to hush-a-bye mountain in the near future, but Boyd retains consciousness for a while. It has easily enough time to again use Gyro Ball on Grace, knocking her back to her half of the court with the force of the trememndous blow. It looks like the action is finished for now, and finally Marcia gives in to the exhaustion, falling asleep for a while. This leaves the contestants reasonably even going into the second round: it will have to be later on that everyone really decides the match, and it will be interesting to see what happens in the next round!

How does a compoundeyes sleep powder miss dang it :(

Stink guys. Venonat, smash mienfoo with a venoshock x2, or x3 if you wake up from a powerful attack. Boyd, hit mienfoo with a gyro ball, then defend with an iron defense, then pierce with another gyro ball.

If mienfoo faints, switch venonat to use Signal beam on nohface, while Boyd uses leech seed on it.

Jeez, they really hate you Grace (also Grace is a she)
Okay Grace, Detect that Gyro Ball on the first turn, then Dig under the court. Wait until the end of the round before coming up and hitting Marcia
Shade, no-one wants to hit you, so we might as well hit them. Smash Marcia's sub with Meteor Mash. If it breaks, burn her then Boyd with Will-O-Wisp. If it doesn't break, then burn Boyd with WoW anyway, and then break the sub with Shadow Sneak

And now we're going back to courtside, where Rittercat and Rolf are still having their great bout. Again Grace starts off the round: she looks at her opponents, scouting for any signs of movement, and eventually manages to Detect the attack coming her way from Boyd, dodging it completely. Marcia Continues to Sleep where she fell last round, but she looks like she is just about to get back up again to continue to fight. Shade goes to Meteor Mash Marcia's substitute again while she sleeps, but he soon realises that it disappeared last round thanks to Grace's Stone Edge (!) and so decides to target Marcia herself while she sleeps: not altogether sporting, but definitely a good move to try to take down a strong opposition. Boyd, after watching all of this, tries to Gyro Ball Grace, but unfortunately Grace detects the blow coming and swerves to the side, causing Boyd to barrel into the wall. Fortunately, its hard exoskeleton prevents any damage, but Grace too escapes unharmed. To finish up the round, Marcia finally wakes up, although not in time to actually do anything for a moment.

Next, Grace Digs under the court, breaking apart the soft ground to go underground where it can't be hit by attacks. Nonetheless, Marcia gives it a good go, and sprays a great volume of poison to Venom Shock her into oblivion - or at least it would, if it weren't protected by several metres of ground. Next, Shade gathers up a bunch of flames, and gathers them into a bright white ball, which it fires off towards Boyd, and the Will-o-wisp burns Boyd badly, cutting its offenses a great deal, and hurting it a bit too. Finally, Boyd, struggling against the tiredness induced by the yawn from last round, manages to just raise its Iron Defence a bit before it gives in, and falls completely to sleep, but this too is a very light sleep which looks like it won't last too long.

Finally, and with Grace underground, Marcia again tries to Venom Shock through the ground, but again the protection of the earth is just too much to penetrate with the small spurt of poison, and the attack is again rendered ineffective. Shade, however, now sends off another ghostly Will-o-wisp towards Marcia this time, and now burning her too. He seems to be doing very well this round, and stays completely healthy to the end of this round too, because Boyd remains completely asleep on the side of the court. Grace also takes this chance to surface in a Dig attack against the sleeping Boyd, knocking it into the air, back to its side and jumping back to Rittercat's side of the court, slightly hurt by Boyd's Iron Barbs and Iron Defences. Boyd, in the meantime, wakes up after its quick nap, but also does not have enough time to get an attack off against Grace, leaving us with the end of the second round and possibly the shoe on the other foot compared to last round.

We got this. Grace, use Swords Dance first off. Then, Vitally Throw Boyd and then (double)slap him silly.
If they try to attack Grace, Shade, you jump in front and Protect. If they don't attack Grace, then dance with feathers at that Ferroseed. If you Protected last, turn then FeatherDance at Boyd. If you didn't protect, then Yawn at Venonat. Then, mash that Venonat with meteors.

Boyd, start a Gyro Ball heading towards Grace to force him to protect, while Marcia sneaks behind to smack the Swords-Dancing Grace with a deadly Compoundeyes Sleep Powder. Next, Marcia, you need to soak Grace with a Venom Shock. Boyd, Leech Seed that pesky Nohface while it does its little jig. Finally Marcia, finish that rat stinker with a Confusion while Boyd lays some roots and Ingrains himself into the soil.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And the third round begins. We left off last round with Grace and Shade working together admirably to pull back from some early losses. It looks like they are set this round to do the same, and it is certainly impressiv to see them acting as a unit. Once again Grace begins the round, again performing a strange Swords Dance to sharpen mind and body in preparation for the ending of the match, moving around almost faster than the eye can see sharpening her claws. Meanwhile, Boyd moves up to Grace as she dances, and lets off another of his great Gyro Balls towards Grace in an attempt to knock her out of the dance. However, as Boyd rolls towards Grace, Shade dashes over to Grace and summons a force-field around Grace to Protect her completely from the force of the blow. Boyd is blocked immediately by the field, and is thrown back just as quickly, unhurt. Finally, Marcia sneaks up behind Shade and lets off some Sleep Powder over Grace. It floats down from the sky where Marcia let it off, and because of the limitations of protecting another Pokemon Shade cannot quite block the powder, which immediately puts Grace into a very deep sleep. In fact, it looks like it will be out for at least the rest of the round, and this is going to leave Shade fighting completely for itself!

While Grace sleeps, the match continues on quickly, even if Shade is now effectively outnumbered two-to-one. However, Marcia looks like she might be letting things even up a bit by movnig over to attack Grace while she sleeps, however unsporting it may be. She summons up poison from within herself, and launches a big Venom Shock towards Grace, which compound with the poison she already is to hurt her badly in her sleep, and she stirs a bit, although not enough to raise her up. Shade follows up, beginning a duel of (reasonably) epic proportions with Boyd, and begins to do a Featherdance around Boyd. The feathers fly around the court, and they cushion the blows that Boyd is about to make by getting caught in around all of its Iron Barbs. To pay it back, Boyd moves back towards Shade and throws seeds at it, which leech away at its life force. The Leech Seeds sap away at Shade, and in fact will continue to do so for quite some time.

Finally, the end of the round starts with Marcia again, because Grace remains asleep on the side of the court. Marcia stops moving, and concentrates on just going for Grace using the power of her mind. he lets off a huge Confusion attack in an attempt to finish off Grace, but Grace just holds on to life for now and remains asleep by the side of the field. Shade valiantly continues the fight however, and summons a huge crowd of meteors to fall down on Marcia, in an attempt to stop her attacking his partner again. The Meteor Mash falls down on Marcia, knocking her around the field, but falling a long way short of silencing for good, and she seemingly effortlessly picks herself up off the ground. Meanwhile, Boyd simply Ingrains himself in the ground, leeching health out of the ground to compound with the health he is sapping out of Shade. He is beginning to look unstoppable, and indeed it certainly seems dire for Rittecat. I wonder is he can come up with something in the next round?

Grace needs to go down this round. Badly.

Marcia, Venom Shock Grace, and use your Compoundeyes to make sure it lands solidly. Boyd, Bullet Seed her if she's not gone yet. If for some reason she's STILL alive, Boyd, smack her with a Gyro Ball while Marcia uses a Leech Life attack. If Grace is still there, take her on with another assault of Bullet Seed and Bug Resistance.

Whenever Grace faints, Marcia, chill the rest of the round. Boyd, use Curse and Iron Defense, switching each action.

Okay. Grace, you need to survive. First, Shade, Protect her for the first turn she sleeps. Grace, Dig when you wake up and stay underground until everyone else has attacked before coming up and hitting Marcia.

Shade, for the two turns they're attempting to hit Grace, Yawn at Boyd then Marcia

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And a nail-biting fourth round begins, which looks like it will settle the outcome of the whole match. Immediately, all attention centres on Grace, who looks like she might be the first Pokemon to fall of the four, being on dangerously low health and asleep when she most needs to be awake. The round starts off with Marcia, as Grace is out of the pecking order, and Marcia begins by advancing on the helpless Grace. She prepares one last Venom Shock for Grace, and eventually looses a round of poison off towards Grace. Shade, true to previous form, jumps in front of Grace to Protect her, and creates a huge barrier in front of her, and the venom is stopped completely by the barrier. However, the difficulties in protecting another Pokemon mean that the barrier is somewhat weakened, and the super-accurate Venom Shock proves to be all that it can handle, like last round. This leaves the path open for Boyd, who takes the opportunity from where he is ingrained into the ground to let off a succession of powerful and speedy seeds. The Bullet Seeds pelt Grace as she sleeps, and the four times that they hit she takes a lot of damage. She is knocked back by each one, but eventually it looks like she will survive. The pounding stops, and she rolls over, showing that she is just about to wake up again after her unfortunately long sleep. She slowly wakes up, sluggish because of the beating she has suffered over the course of the battle, and struggles eventually to her feet. She looks, in fact, like she is just about to lead off the next round by sheltering underground, but suddenly she contorts, and falls back down, in pain. It looks like the poison damage from before has really taken it toll, and she seems to have succumbed to the poison to the point that she is completely unconscious. She doesn't get up this time, meaning that she is unable to battle, and Shade is now completely on his own.

The next phase of the battle starts off again with Marcia. She stops her mad frenzy at Grace now that she is out of the battle, and begins to Chill after her attacks. She looks very worn out after the whole ordeal, and simply rests, watching the other two battlers. Shade then moves up to the centre of the court, in an attempt to salvage the game. He tries to remove Boyd from action again by Yawning at him, and the yawn proves to be so contagious that Boyd is lulled into sleep, although it will take some time to come into effect. Boyd responds by Cursing, and the curse changes the way it moves and acts so that it can hit harder and take hits better, even while moving more slowly.

Finally, the battle continues in just the same slow way that it was last action. Marcia continues to just Chill by the side of the court, to try to restore some energy. Similarly, Shade moves over on to Marcia and Yawns once again, this time aiming at Marcia. Finally, Boyd starts to raise up his Iron Defense, but suddenly all attention turns to Shade. He looks like he is teetering, and finally collapses. He has absolutely no energy left, and so passes out from sheer exhaustion. And so, with that bizarre anticlimax, both Shade and Grace are now unable to battle, so Rolf Wins! It was a good game everyone, so well done and I hope you had fun! I'll have the points down below.

Sorry, that post didn't quite go through properly. You should have had 29%, like you did at the end of the previous round. I forgot to change it. It has been changed now.
