- Grass / Poison typing lets it absorb Toxic Spikes and grants it good resistances to Water-, Electric-, Grass-, and Fighting-type attacks. In tandem with its good special bulk with Eviolite, allows it to be one of the best CM Virizion counters in the tier. Also pretty good against Jolteon
- Toxic immunity and Natural Cure let it make common status users its bitch. Fuck mola
- Decent special attack can prevent it from being set-up fodder
- Lackluster physical bulk
- Poor STAB coverage lets Steel-types and Poison-types switch in with impunity.
- Knock Off fucks it over.
- If not using hazards, outclassed by Amoonguss.

- Spikes are the damn reason you're using this thing
- Sludge Bomb best STAB with decent base power, poison hax, lets it beat on Aromatisse, and Virizion.
- Giga Drain used to beat on Rhyperior especially, while hitting Alomomola and Clawitzer much harder, and hitting Slowking on the switch in.
- Toxic Spikes are helpful for more stall-oriented teams, where Roselia is a really good setter and absorber
- Synthesis lets Roselia stick around on Stall teams while Sleep Powder helps more offensive teams alleviate her tendency to be set-up fodder
Set Details

- Spread gives an extra SpDef point and lets you survive the 2HKO from LO Clawitzer's Dark Pulse as well as surviving the OHKO from +2 LO Virizion's Stone Edge
- One of the better Eviolite users, due to almost never needing to take a Knock Off, aside from the very rare Knock Off Alomomola
Usage Tips
========
- Roselia can switch into a lot of defensive Pokemon such as Alomomola, Amoonguss, and Aromatisse due to its ability to shrug off status and its decent special bulk.
- If there is no grounded Poison-type, laying Toxic Spikes first is preferred, especially to wear down spinners such as Hitmonlee.
- One layer of Toxic Spikes is preferred most of the time, but sometimes a second layer might be needed for Alomomola and Slowking, depending on how your team matches up with those.
- Watch out for Overcoat Escavalier, who is immune to Sleep Powder.
Team Options
========
- AV Slowking makes a good teammate to soak up hits from Fire-types such as Moltres, Delphox, and Emboar. STAB Psyshock to ward off Poison-types looking to soak up Toxic Spikes not named Drapion or Skuntank. It also helps ward off common Defoggers such as Gligar and Golbat.
- Alomomola, Gligar, and help to keep Escavalier at bay as well as handle Drapion and Skuntank, who are annoyances to Roselia.
- Aromatisse can be used to handle Yanmega, while also providing Wish support to let it switch in easier.
- Registeel provides Stealth Rock while manhandling Yanmega and Vivillion, and helps spread Toxic to Pokemon that aren't hit by grounded Toxic Spikes.
- Rhyperior can also provide Stealth Rock, and has Dragon Tail to abuse hazards, while appreciating Roselia's ability to cleanly set up on Alomomola, who is a problem for Rhyperior.
- Roselia can put its bulk to use to support offensive mons Spikes support. Examples include Sharpedo, Yanmega, Swellow, and Exploud, who all have notable grounded counters that lack reliable recovery.
- Dugtrio can help to trap the Poison-types that soak up Roselia's Toxic Spikes, as well as trapping Steel-types immune to them, such as Registeel
- Doublade goes well with Stall teams utilizing Roselia, by being one of the better answers to Sub Bulk Up Braviary and Sub CM Cresselia while also holding up well against Hitmonlee's Rapid Spin attempts.
- Spiritomb can also be used to spinblock Hitmonlee, while handling some of the Psychic-types that set up on Roselia

- Escavalier switches into Roselia easily and threatens to Knock Off its teammates or hit hard with a powerful STAB Megahorn.
- Drapion and Skuntank soak up Toxic Spikes, and can potentially Pursuit her for a decent chunk of her health. The latter is also able to Defog away her Spikes
- Fire-types like Delphox, Moltres, and Emboar threaten to muscle right past Roselia
- Meloetta, Cresselia, and Reuniclus all begin to set up Substitute and/or Calm Mind on Roselia, with the latter two being immune to Roselia's hazards thanks to Levitate and Magic Guard, respectively.
