[Overview]
- Eviolite gives it incredibly high special walling abilities
-Natural Cure heals it of status, along with an immunity to Toxic to begin with
-Very wide support movepool
-Able to set up Spikes and Toxic Spikes
-very nice 100 base Sp. Atk
-frail physical defenses

[Set]
Set name: Special Wall
Move 1: Spikes
Move 2: Synthesis/ Rest
Move 3: Giga Drain
Move 4: Leech Seed/ Toxic Spikes/ Sludge Bomb
Item: Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 SpD/ 4 SpA

[Set Comments]
-
The given nature and EVs give Roselia a very nice 304 HP as well as an absolutely amazing 426 Sp. Def.
-Sadly, it has a measly 189 Def, making it hard for Roselia to take hits from both ends of the spectrum.
-Poison typing allows for Roselia to safely remove Toxic Spikes
-Spikes allows it to be able to reliably set up hazards in a metagame where spinners are very rare
-Synthesis is one of the four forms of recovery Roselia has, although it suffers from low PP.
-Rest grants more recovery and more opportunities to heal to Roselia, but it forces you to switch out for Natural Cure to activate
-Giga Drain is not the most reliable recovery, but it does surprising damage with Roselia's 237 Sp. Atk
-Leech Seed allows for residual damage and a usable way of recovery for Roselia
-Toxic Spikes can be used, but is rather useless on an offensive team
-Sludge Bomb can give it a nice secondary STAB, but the other two moves are usually more reliable

[Additional Comments]
-
This set works best on an offensive team, setting up hazards while still retaining some momentum against the majority of special attackers
-Roselia competes with Scolipede for this team slot, but Roselia has superior bulk and can come in and out of battle much more easily than Scolipede can.
-This set can also be used to annihilate many annoying walls such as Quagsire, Defensive Rhydon, and others

[Set]
Set name: Offensive
Move 1:Sludge Bomb
Move 2: Giga Drain/ Leaf Storm
Move 3: Synthesis
Move 4: Spikes/ Sleep Powder/ Toxic Spikes
Item: Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest
EVs: 132 HP/ 252 SpA/ 124 Spe

[Set Comments]
-This set focuses on Roselia's base 100 SpA, catching opponents off-gaurd and possibly taking out an opponent's Pokémon while still being bulky.
-Sludge Bomb is Roselia's primary STAB, giving very good coverage due to the lack of many Steel types in NU
-Giga Drain or Leaf Storm give a nice secondary STAB to hit Ground and Rock types that resist Sludge Bomb
-Synthesis allows Roselia to have important recovery to continue attacking
-Spikes can also be used to support the team with hazards

[Additional Comments]
-An EV spread of 252 SpA/ 252 Spe/ 4 SpD can work with a Timid nature. This spread sacrifices bulk to be able to outspeed neutral base 75's, an example of which is Absol
-Leaf Storm is illegal with Spikes, so if you decide to run Leaf Storm, you must use Sleep Powder or TSpikes.
-Sleep Powder is usually the superior option to Toxic Spikes, but they can definitely help if you are running a Stall team.

[Set]
Set name: Dedicated Supporter
Move 1: Aromatherapy
Move 2: Leech Seed/ Toxic Spikes
Move 3: Sleep Powder
Move 4: Giga Drain
Item: Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Calm
EVs: 252 HP/ 252 SpD/ 4 Def

[Set Comments]
-Aromatherapy can heal burns on things like Klinklang and Sawk, as well as paralysis and toxic
-Spikes is illegal with Sleep Powder, while Toxic Spikes is not
-Sleep Powder can incapacitate a threat to another sweeper on your team
-Giga Drain makes it not complete Taunt fodder

[Additional Comments]
-This set is meant to keep teammates alive, while the first set is meant to keep Roselia on the field as long as possible
-This set is best for offensive teams as well, as it can heal sweepers like Klinklang from a Burn/paralysis and turn an opponent's poke into set-up fodder

[Other Options]
-Leaf Storm can be used on the defensive sets for harder hitting
-Cotton Spore can dampen a sweeper's potential (it does not get TWave)
-Can run Toxic, as well as the somewhat gimmicky Toxic + Venoshock combo
-Able to set up both Sun and Rain
-HP Ground can be used to hit Klinklang/ Magneton (the latter of which is stalled out by Leech Seed + Recovery though) when they try to set up on you.

[Checks and Counters]
-most physical attackers
-most Psychic types (Gardevoir, Mesprit, Jynx)
-does nothing against Hail
-Magmortar
-Miltank uses it as set-up fodder

[Dream World]
Roselia gets the ability Leaf Gaurd from the Dream World. However, this ability should never be considered on Roselia. Since there is no auto-Sun in NU, Sunny Day must be used. Furthermore, Natural Cure completely outclasses it as an ability, as it works in any weather.

Roselia @ Eviolite
Timid
252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
- Sludge Bomb
- Giga Drain / Leaf Storm
- Synthesis
- Spikes

241 HP / ~200 Def / ~300 SpD pretty hard to kill and hits pretty hard with its huge base 100 SpA. Maybe the Speed isn't needed that badly but I like outpacing Absol.

I haven't playtested it yet, but this set is probably worth consideration. Offensive Roselia has mucked up my teams a couple of times and still is a reliable user of Spikes.

I'd definitely agree that Roselia can run an offensive spread rather effectively. I've been playing with a spread of 252 Hp / 64 SpA / 192 SpD and Modest with the Special Wall set, and does quite a bang-up job.

Does the Cleric really need its own set?

Offensive should probably look like this:
[Set]
name: Offensive
move 1: Sludge Bomb
move 2: Giga Drain / Leaf Storm
move 3: Synthesis
move 4: Spikes
Item: Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest
EVs: 132 HP / 252 SpA / 124 Spe

Those EVs beat a bunch of important uninvested stuff like Lanturn, Magneton and Mesprit. Max HP and max Speed Timid spreads can go in AC.

@zebraiken, thanks for the set, will add it along with ice-eyes spread

@happy endorphins, while true, the only viable one in NU is Miltank, which normally runs Scrappy (although it does turn Roselia into set-up fodder)

@ice-eyes, what I was going for is that the wall set is meant to keep itself alive and the cleric is meant to keep the rest of the team alive (changing the name to Dedicated Supporter).

not quite too old for this, apparently

Switch Supporter and Offensive, make the primary EV spread the bulky one on offensive, list the Timid spread in AC (the nature should be "Modest", no slash. Timid mentioned in AC with an explanation of how the spread works).

Leaf storm and spikes are illegal iirc, so i'd unslash that on the second set (if this is correct of course) Also, maybe mention hp ground to prevent klinklang/magneton setting up a sub on it, probably in OO.

just slash in toxic spikes and make it clear you can have either leaf storm + tspikes or giga drain + spikes. you can also list sleep powder in AC then, its illegal with spikes though.

also i should have mentioned this but rest should go somewhere in OO because of silly hail and you have natural cure anyway.

Actually yeah don't bother slashing T-Spikes onto the offensive set; put Sleep Powder there instead for use with Leaf Storm.

So it should look like this:
[Set]
name: Offensive
move 1: Sludge Bomb
move 2: Giga Drain / Leaf Storm
move 3: Synthesis
move 4: Spikes / Sleep Powder
Item: Eviolite
Ability: Natural Cure
Nature: Modest
EVs: 132 HP / 252 SpA / 124 Spe

Do that and this is fine.
