doomsday doink

Overview
########
- Solid Special Attack stat to make use of its strong STABs in Leaf Storm and Thunderbolt
- Underwhelming HP stat is balanced out by great 107/107 defenses
- Nifty set of resistances due to Electric/Grass typing and Ground immunity
- Can't be cripple via paralysis
- Without a Choice Scarf, it is outsped by common Flying and Fire threats
Choice Scarf
########
name: Choice Scarf
move 1: Leaf Storm
move 2: Volt Switch
move 3: Hidden Power Fire / Thunderbolt
move 4: Trick
ability: Levitate
item: Choice Scarf
evs: 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe / 4 Def
nature: Timid
Moves
========
- Leaf Storm is Rotom-C’s main source of damage and hits anything that doesn’t resist it, and even things that do, for huge chunks of damage.
- Volt Switch allows for great momentum and still deals good damage coming off of base 105 SpAtk.
- Hidden Power Fire can be used to hit things that resist both STABs or can easily shrug them off, such as Amoonguss, Registeel and an opposing Rotom-C.
- Thunderbolt can be utilized over Hidden Power Fire to deal more damage than Volt Switch and allow Rotom-C to stay in as opposed to being forced out. It also has a 10% chance of paralyzing the opponent which can be helpful in some situations.
- Trick is Rotom-C’s best way to cripple walls and support Pokemon, locking them into whatever hazard or status they had just used. It also supplies Rotom-C with some nice recovery via stolen Leftovers or some added power via a stolen Life Orb. Trick can also be used to steal Doublade and Gligar’s Eviolite, severely diminishing they’re sponging potential.
========
- The given EVs max out Rotom-C’s Speed and Special Attack, allowing it outspeed and threaten most Pokemon with a STAB Leaf Storm.
- Choice Scarf gives Rotom-C the ability to outspeed the entire unboosted metagame
- Timid Nature to make Rotom-C faster
Usage Tips
========
- Rotom-C can come in on a predicted Earthquake from something like Rhyperior and hit something hard with Leaf Storm or Volt Switch on their switch-in to gain momentum
- Solid bulk lets it withstand some hits so usually finding space to bring it in isn't too challenging
- Although a Scarf is nice for late game clean-up, Tricking it onto an opposing wall can be just as, if not more, beneficial
Team Options
========
- Like most Scarfers, appreciates some hazard support
- Defog and Rapid Spin are helpful, letting Rotom-C continuously switch it and then Volt Switch out
- Fire-types make good partners, checking most Grass-type threats and having their Water and Ground weaknesses covered by Rotom-C

Checks & Counters
########
**Grass-types**: Preferably bulky, and most notably Amoonguss; can easily switch into anything, including Hidden Power Fire, and hit back with Sludge Bomb or something.
**Dragon-types**: Namely Druddigon, can switch into any move and isn't really crippled by a Choice Scarf
**Bulky Steel-types**: Registeel and Cobalion can switch in relatively safely, and can either cripple and chip away or hit back hard, respectively
**Knock Off**: Knock Off gets rid of the Choice Scarf, letting a lot of Pokemon KO it relatively easily
