    The stonefish. Lives in shallow water, camouflage makes it look just like, well, a stone, and is the most venomous fish in the world. Injects its venom from those spines into people who step on it, which is really painful and causes a lot of swelling... and scares the shit out of me.

    @Zombie Snails: reminds me of this fungus from biology that would take over an ant's brain and make it carry the fungus to perfect conditions (a lead facing a certain angle, exact temperature, height, ect) and then starve the ant while growing in its empty shell.
