Scizor can't use bug bite?

Just today, as I was making a new team, i couldn't make my Scizor learn bug bite, however, yesterday I made another team who had a bug bite Scizor in it, and it worked fine. I even tried loading the old one and storing it in a box so I could transfer it over, but it still doesn't come up on the moves list, and when I save it shoddy tells me that Scizor is an illegal pokemon because it knows bug bite.

I tried loading the team builder on both the standard metagame setting and smogon, it didn't work on either.

Has this happened to anyone else, or do I have to use X-Scissor instead?

EDIT: . . . and now it works. Never mind then, I guess it's just a glitch that comes and goes.

It depends on where you build your team. If you do it on Smogon's server, you'll be able to choose HGSS moves such as Bug Bite. If you use another server,it might not have the moves.
