Arena: The ASB Tournament Arena

Surrounded by thousands of screaming Pokemon fans, the ASB Arena can be best described as a standard Pokemon battling arena. In the center of the arena lies a dirt-based floor outlined to show two separate sides (with a white Pokeball center). Surrounding the dirt is a moat filled with water. The moat is about fifteen feet wide and creates a perimeter around the dirt arena. The arena itself is eighty feet wide, one hundred feet long. All moves, weathers, and abilities are legal for the match, since it's an outdoor arena with a large water source and packed dirt. Pokemon must stay in the arena (or the dimensions of the arena in the case of Flying Pokemon, who cannot leave the arena and cannot fly higher than sixty feet). This prevents Pokemon from injuring the crowd watching the tournament. There are no outside interruptions by fans, Pokemon, or other elements not associated with the current battle.

Abilities: Early Bird (Innate): This Pokemon is used to waking up at early hours or operating in low-light conditions and subsequently sleep status is automatically reduced by one intensity level when inflicted on this Pokemon. When the Pokemon uses Rest they will gain 18 HP per action and only be asleep for two actions.
Flash Fire (Innate): This Pokemon thrives in high temperatures, and takes the energy of any opposing fire attack, nullifies the damage, and uses the additional power to boost its own fire attack’s Base Attack Power by two (2). Self-targeted attacks do not give the boost.
Unnerve (Innate) *Locked*: The Pokemon's presense causes immense tension in the opponent, preventing them from eating a held Berry. Natural Gift may still be used.

Technician (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally deal 6 or below base damage to have their base damage multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Welcome to this battle in the beatiful, if a bit overused, ASB Arena, on my right, powerful trainer and future (possible) leader of the rock Gym, SDS!, on my right, another great battler, TC! This is a Regular battle, were the trainer whose pokemon make the ones belonging to the other one faint first wins the match, ready, GO!

With a quic move both trainers send out their respective teams, on one side we have an adorable slowpoke, look how lovely is that with his little pincky tummy, that's just pure cuteness an. mmmh. yeah, next to him a entangled mess of blue vines, and ready to make little of this opponents, but the fellow team doesn't seems to be too scared, Hellhound and IceBug seem to be oddly confident because of their typing, but in battles everything can happen.

IceBug uses his little freezing powers and launches a cold breeze against SDS' team, their bodies start chilling and their blood (or water?) start moving slowly trough their bodies making their movement a bit steadier, Hellhound uses his new speed (at least compared to their foes) to shot a pulse of dark energy to damage everything on the field, unfortunately that also means his own companion who gets some damage out of the whole deal, still the dark energy seems to really distrub slowpoke, as his usual calmed face turns a bit more angry... Deeproot, seeing all the ice hanging out of his body tries to shot little waves into the atmosphere and makes the clouds vanish into the air, the sun is really hot now, and the ice aroud him is melting down making his speed go back to normal, ane even better, cause all of the sun has made the tangled poke to increase her speed over the fire puppy, outspeeeding it.

Another nice effect of this climatic abnormality is that Jester can shot a boosted fire attack into IceBug, even with IceBugs dazzing speed, he couldn't void getting hit on his weekest side, oh, he seems to be melting down, but never count down this little fellow, he's got quite a bite as he shows when charging against Jeser for a bit of payback time, bitting his tail, and almost ripping it out, that's probably not how he would hav like it, as it surely did some nice damage if we look at Jester's face, but his pain grin also hides a bit of a mean look, and as you look at his mouthyou realize you're about to have to deal with one less pokemon... on your side, Hellhound uses the dark energy that was left in the air after his last attack and uses it to crease yet another sphere of dark energy, not as dark as before but dark enough to hit Jester for quite a nice amount, tangela tries to stop him by launching a toxic bomb vs the ghost energy, he didn0t measure too good (or maybe he doesn't know that ghost tend to get trough stuff), and the hit passes a little to close to Jester, hitting IceBug, damages, and a little but sick, he still remain with his jaws stuck in the pinly bear, sadly fo Hellhound, even if his shadow energy managed to hit it's just not enough to stop Jester from firing the huge fire blast against the ICEBUG that's still biting his tail, geiving hi a great angle to shot his flame tower, receiving the full blow of the sun, IceBug can barely stand, and leaves Jester tail alone, being unable to ressist anymore, he falls into the ground.

With one pokemon gone, Deeproot tries some new tricks, using his little body to release some sleeping powders to try and put the one pokemon that could turn this sunny day into a real Inferno, but he's just too aware to be caough unto them, and he jumps fast enough to avoid getting caught by a nap, seeing that he no longers have a pertner, he releases another ulse of energy, this time tainted by the lost of his friends, to make sure that his two opponents go down, and rightly done, since after that, little Jester can't barely move (it could also be cause of the intense pain on his tail, he being half frozen, or the fact that he just shot a huge attack, but the Dark pulse was probably it...), and being so close to faint, can only mean, we're abou to go 1 to 1 unless something really interesting appens, at least we could see how much damage can Jester do before going down, with his cute tail, and little ears, and. well, stay with us to find out the outcome of this match where everything can happen.

With Jester on the edge for so much punishment, Hellhound tries his best to get not get under the influence of Deeproot, who by being so blazing fast actually manages to spread some of it's powders over Hellhound's head, his will manages to let him awake when most others would have fallen sleep, but that's not saying it hasn't take some of it's movement away, but he has still some energy, at least enough to release another shadow pulse, Jester seems worried as that comes right against him, the powerful blow manages to send Jester back, hitting himself with a bad, and fainting due to all the injuries sustained.

As you see your regeneration core come to an end, you know it's all on Deeproot now, who feels almost cheated when his powders can't do the stuff they should, Hellhound is still there, and he seems ready to get burn some vegetables, Deeproot is fast to shot another bomb, this time, full of his special toxic powders, and make it explode over Hellhound, it doesn't damage him too much, but this time, the fungus seem to work since the little houndour now was affected by the poison, not that is too much comfort considering he releases a fire tower even bigger than Jester's (you just realize, maybe using sunny day wasn't the smartest move), doing some incredibe damage against the grass pokemon

Week, but far from dead, Deeproot lauches another bomb of toxines for some extra damage, as Hellhound starts feeling the poison inside his body and is too week to move, well, maybe you can try to use your speed and you big bag of tricks to pull something out of this.

Actually, SDS, you're wrong on Gerard's UC. From the Reffing Tower:
