[SET COMMENTS]

This Sharpedo set aims to weaken the foe's core as well as clean up late-game. With Crunch and Hydro Pump, Sharpedo can reliably take out defensive Pokemon such as Slowking, Uxie, and Donphan. There are few Pokemon who can safely switch into those attacks, as even a resisted Crunch will do major damage to most of the frail Fighting-types. Earthquake and Zen Headbutt hit Toxicroak who can otherwise switch in and use Vacuum Wave to finish
off Sharpedo. Earthquake also 2HKOes Registeel, while Zen Headbutt nails Pokemon such as Poliwrath, Venusaur, and Hariyama for heavy damage. Aqua Jet helps Sharpedo clean up late-game; however, Ice Beam can help Sharpedo get past defensive Torterra who otherwise walls this set.

The EVs on this set are very straightforward. With just 4 Special Attack EVs and a neutral nature, Hydro Pump always OHKOes Donphan and most Steelix. The rest of the EVs are dumped in Attack and Speed to maximize Sharpedo's sweeping potential. Naughty gives you a slightly higher chance to 2HKO Milotic, but Hasty is generally preferred to outpace Rotom.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

This Sharpedo has a few counters
who need to be covered by other Pokemon. A defensive Milotic is hard for Sharpedo to break, especially if she has Hidden Power Grass. If Sharpedo can't get a Defense drop from Crunch, he will lose with Life Orb recoil and Milotic's Surf rapidly depleting his HP. You can deal with Milotic in one of two ways. The first option is to use a Pokemon to lure Milotic into battle and deal major damage with a coverage move. Magmortar and Blaziken do a good job at luring Milotic out with Fire Blast then hitting her hard with Thunderbolt and Superpower, respectively. The second and safer (but less effective) option would be to have a Pokemon who can easily switch into Milotic and force her out. Pokemon such as Venusaur and Toxicroak can shrug off Milotic's attacks and set up Swords Dance. Aside from Milotic, Torterra also causes Sharpedo some problems if you opt for Aqua Jet over Ice Beam. Luckily the same Venusaur who can switch into Milotic can switch into Torterra; just make sure he carries Synthesis so he can keep switching into them.

Fuck yea Sharpedo.

poliwrath also resists dark/water (you said toxicroak was the only one). milotic is definitely a counter and not just a "sort of" as it only takes 34.4% - 40.5% from crunch and many times you can get it in on one of the other three attacks which do much less. bulky hitmontop is also a nice switch as it can intimidate into a crunch and either switch out and let one of its teammates beat the weakened sharpedo (venusaur comes to mind) or stay in and only take 38.8% - 45.7% from surf. i usually really dislike u-turn / baton pass being mentioned as a partner but sharpedo is so frail that one of those becomes almost needed.

good pokemon

my only reservation is that this seems a bit too much like the bulky water milotic set on site as it shares the same water typing and two moves.

Though speaking of Hitmontop, it's a pretty significant hassle if it has Intimidate and Mach Punch, as is basically every Pokemon with a Fighting-type priority move(or any priority move at all, I guess). Gotta love those defenses...

This Sharpedo has a few counters who need to be covered by other Pokemon. A defensive Milotic is hard for Sharpedo to break, especially if it has Hidden Power Grass. Without a few hits of Crunch that lower Defense, Sharpedo will eventually just lose with Life Orb and Milotic's Surf slowly burning through his HP. Milotic is easy to remedy however, since you can deal with her in two ways. The first step you can take is to use a Pokemon to lure Milotic into battle. the new grammar gender rule messes me up too -.- but I chose Milotic as a girl here because it seems more fitting

have you considered slashing Naughty with Hasty? Naughty deals 88.5% on average to 248/252+ Milotic, factoring in Stealth Rock, one round of Leftovers, and two Crunches; with just a bit of previous damage you can take it out. since lots of Milotic are running SpD, that might be more likely than it seems; even with a relatively physically bulky 248/252 (Calm) spread, Milotic takes 96.4% on average from the same combination. with Hasty, the two calcs become 81.2% and 88.5% respectively, which means it’s a lot harder to kill Bold Milotic. with the lowered Speed you miss out on beating Toxicroak, Moltres, Rotom, and Leafeon. you probably don’t want to stay in on Toxicroak either way cause it might have Vacuum Wave. Leafeon and Rotom are pretty important but you can’t have everything I guess. Moltres takes 59.8% minimum from Aqua Jet and isn’t very likely to stay in regardless. there are a few downsides but hitting 10% harder is cool!

Thanks whistle, I slashed in Naughty too.
