It was a quiet day in Pokeland, and suddenly Shyguy spoke up, challenging everyone and their mother to a huge brawl between four trainers:

A Team Double Battle

Me: Team 1
First to reply: Team 2 (decides abilities all/one/none)
Second to reply: Team 1 (names Team 1, decides recovery/chills)
Third to reply: Team 2 (names Team 2, decides items yes/no)

Arena: Abandoned Playground.
A large sandbox with a slide, a teeter-totter, a two swing swing-set, and a metal dome jungle gym. Outside the sandbox is a blacktop playground with two basket ball courts on one side, and a large grass field on the other. The playground has been abandoned for decades so the grass is overgrown and the metal playground stuctures can be broken down.

DQ time: 2 days

Three other trainers needed.
Slowly, people startes to fill in the spots, and eventually there was a full roster of players:

pimpganster said:
I'll take the first spot

DFrog said:

2 recoveries/ 5 chills (as per standard)
Lord Jesseus said:
I'm in, no items.
And this left everything ready for the matchup. I'm obviously reffing, it is high time for the match to start, now that I've got all of the PMs (as of 2 minutes ago. Calm down). I can release everyone's Pokemon, so the order will be:

-Lord Jesseus gives orders
-DFrog gives orders
-pimpgangster gives orders
-ShyGuy gives orders
-I ref, and tell everyone what to do afterwards.

They have a lot of statuses, so let's go with Magic Guard. Embirch terrifies me,but not much I can do about him. So Delta let's try and focus on that Ralts. Start off with a Signal Beam while you start heading toward the jungle gym, then Throw in a STAB Thunderbolt. Finish off simply with another Signal Beam, and hopefully by now you've reached the gym, which may provide some cover.

Gary suit up with your Battle Armour.

Now lets start with a Bullet Seed to nail Delta then fire of a strong Fire Blast at SupaKupa then follow up with a second Bullet Seed at Delta. If you fall below 50 health swap your last action with Giga Drain

Bullet Seed (Delta) > Fire Blast (SupaKupa) > Bullet Seed/Giga Drain (Delta)

SupaKupa will be using Vital Spirit

Start things off with a Toxic on Gary, then Protect the Fire Blast and then finish up with a Venoshock on Gary again

Kathryn will have Trace.

Alright Kathryn, start off by using Confuse Ray on Delta, it might protect us from some of his attacks, then Magical Leaf on Delta as well. Finish off with a Psyshock on Supakupa.

Confuse Ray (Delta)>>>Magical Leaf (Delta)>>>Psyshock (SupaKupa)

It is finally the first round, and it looks like we are going to have a great match here today. Our four contestants have each sent out their Pokemon, and it looks like a reasonably even match, so why don't we begin now and stop all the waffle at the start? Anyway, pimpgangster's Breezi, SupaKupa, begins the match off, gathering up globules of a fearsome poison and covering Gary with them, leaving Gary badly poisoned by the Toxic mess (6 Energy). Then, her teammate, Delta the Pilcowatt, bears down on Ralts and hits her with a powerful Signal Beam, before running off in the direction of the gym. The ray of pulsing, flashing light strikes Ralts so well that kids all across Japan get seizures and kids elsewhere can't see it, and even Ralts gets a quite confused (6 Energy, 14 Damage). Then, finally, their opponents get a chance to attack, and their attack is begun by Gary the Embirch, who begins to pelt Delta with some Bullet Seeds, which hit it super effectively. They hit twice, and knock Delta back and forth to do some real damage (5 Energy, 18 Damage). Finally, Kathryn the Ralts gets a chance to attack, and uses it to surround Delta with a Confuse Ray, which covers Delta and leaves it too confused (5 Energy).

Next, Delta moves first because SupaKupa is waiting for a bit, and unfortunately as it goes to attack Ralts once more, it hurts itself in its confusion, hurting it and unfortunately leaving Ralts completely unharmed (3 Energy, 6 Damage). Then, after he stops laughing at Delta attacking itself, Gary looses a strong Fire Blast at SupaKupa, which travels quickly over the field, but unfortunately when it gets there SupaKupa has already begun to Protect herself, meaning that the blast simply explodes against a solid barrier, leaving SupaKupa unharmed (7 Energy) (13 Energy). Finally, Ralts begins to launch a magical leaf towards Delta to continue the onslaught from last action, but she too hurts herself in her confusion, leaving Delta once again unharmed and Ralts damaged by the self-inflicted blows (3 Energy, 3 Damage).

Then, for her final action this round, SupaKupa decides that she should probably begins to actually do some attacking, and as a result she hits Gary with a powerful Venoshock, and the drops of poison all over him hurt him especially badly because he is already poisoned (8 Energy, 29 Damage). Next, Delta once again tries to attack Ralts... and succeeds! The Signal Beam is equally powerful, leaving Kathryn now looking very bruised, with most of her health gone already (6 Energy, 14 Damage). Then, Gary lets loose even more Bullet Seeds at Delta to try to bring it down before Ralts falls, this time hitting three times, and leaving Delta looking just as bruised as Kathryn (5 Energy, 23 Damage). Finally, the round is ended by Kathryn the Ralts, who overcomes her confusion to launch a powerful Psyshock at SupaKupa, hitting him from behind with a huge mental blow, and hurting SupaKupa for the first time (5 Energy, 19 Damage). This leaves the round over, and everything looks incredibly even. It will certainly be an interesting second round, so all that we need for some fun is some instructions! The order will be DFrog => pimpgangster => ShyGuy1221 => Lord Jesseus. Good luck!

Just one thing, Breezi used Venoshock on Gary not Ralts.

Now for my actions!

Gary, time for some all out offensive action.
Use Bullet Seed to try and push Delta into the Jungle Gym, then do it again hopefully destroying the Jungle Gym over Delta's head (the attack is still at Delta), then use Giga Drain on Delta to regain some HP.

Bullet Seed (Delta) > Bullet Seed (Delta) > Giga Drain (Delta)

Breezi lets go again.
Start off by using Venoshock on Gary then fire a Healing Pulse at Delta and then finish off with anither Venoshock to Gary.

Venoshock (Gary)~Healing Pulse (Delta)~Venoshock (Gary)

Alright Kathryn let's see if we can use our opponents moves to our advantage. I want you to use Teleport to get inbetween SupaKupa and Delta just as SupaKupa is firing off the Healing Pulse. If this works, you should be hit with the healing pulse instead of Delta. Follow up with a Healing Pulse of your own on Gary to keep him in the game, and if Delta tries to get in the way, hit him with a Magical Leaf. Finally end with a Psyshock at SupaKupa.

Teleport (Just before the healing pulse)>>>Healing Pulse (Gary)/Magical Leaf (Delta if he tries to take the healing pulse)>>>Psyshock (SupaKupa)

Ok, While Gary's all smug thinking he can overwhelm us, let's just slow him down while our teammate takes hefty chinks out of his HP. Run towards Breezi while using Detect. You're the fastest here, so by the time you've finished firing off a Signal Beam at Ralts you should be close enough for Breezi to heal you with no possible way for Ralts to obstruct; he'll heal Embirch, but no matter. Then use Detect again and we'll take it from there.

We're back for the second round, and those who have been paying attention will know that we left things basically even last round, and that there are no subs in the game, meaning that whoever gets the first kill is left with a huge advantage. To that end, SupaKupa starts off the roud by aiming for the neck with a powerful Venoshock at Gary again, which once again hurts it very badly because of the already ingrained poison in his system (12 Energy, 29 Damage). Then, Gary launches a few more Bullet Seeds at Delta in an attempt to drag him down to the low health that he now has, but at the last minute Delta Detects the attack and dodges easily, leaving himself unharmed (9 Energy) (16 Energy). Finally, Kathryn now moves, and she attempts to get in the way of SupaKupa's next attack, but she Teleports so early that it is unlikely that it will really work (8 Energy).

Delta and SupaKupa then move first together again, and only just after SupaKupa fires off a reasonably slow Heal Pulse at Delta, Delta fires off a Signal Beam at Kathryn (6 Energy, 14 Damage), which knocks her out of the way a bit, and this only adds to the already sufficient speed advantage that they had to enable the Heal Pulse to get to Delta easily enough (14 Energy). However, this does mean that Kathryn now manages to get off a Heal Pulse of her own at her teammate Gary, leaving him in much better shape (14 Energy). Finally, Gary, after sitting back and getting healed by Kathryn's healing pulse, fires off yet another Bullet Seed spurt at Delta, once again pounding him repeatedly with powerful seeds, this time hitting three times (13 Energy, 23 Damage).

For his final action, SupaKupa once again takes aim and hits Gary with a hugely powerful Venoshock, bringing him within range of a strong knockout blow once again (8 Energy, 29 Damage). Then, Gary tries once again to launch a poerwful Grass-type attack at Delta, but once again the Giga Drain he casts is stopped short by Delta Detecting the attack and the dodging it, leaving both unharmed (7 Energy) (16 Energy). Finally, the round is finished up by Kathryn the Ralts, who hits SupaKupa from behind with a powerful Psyshock, which hits it again to bring it down to the sort of health that the rest of them have (5 Energy, 19 Damage). This leaves the round over, and still all four Pokemon are left fighting. The order this time will be pimpgangster, ShyGuy1221, Lord Jesseus and DFrog. Good Luck!

Ok Delta, let's help Breezi finish off that Embirch before he even attacks, use Scald! You're faster, so he'll get the KO counter, but we've been a little selfish so that's fine. I have doubts he'll survive all the so let's move on.
Ralts is boosting its sp def but no matter, let's go right ahead and continue Signal Beaming it. After that, Mirror Coat it's Magical leaf, hopefully for the KO (or if we're lucky he'll be done before then).

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO DIE GARY!!!! ROAR BEAST-MODE ENGAGE

And so we're finally back for the next round of the battle, and it looks like we are just about to have our first casualty. In fact, SupaKupa and Delta look like they are going for the finish straight from the beginning: SupaKupa begins the onslaught, launching a powerful Venoshock once more at Gary, and it is obvious that it is enough to be a knockout blow. Gary valiantly tries to get out of the way in time, but unfortunately doesn't manage, meaning that he gets soaked in the toxin one more time, before he is brought down by the exhaustion (12 Energy, 29 Damage). This leaves the battle a two on one, and it looks like Kathryn is in some real trouble. This stage now starts, with Delta firing off a Scald at Kathryn to begin the 2v1, and while it doesn't burn her it does hurt badly (5 Energy, 13 Damage). Finally, Kathryn now manages to let off an attack, and she starts by setting up a Calm Mind to prepare for the onslaught, boosting her special powers (6 Energy).

Next, SupaKupa Knocks Off any item he can find (not sure why, because there''s nothing there), and the attack doesn''t really hurt much, perhaps because it didn''t do what it was designed for (3 Energy, 6 Damage). However, Delta does hit Kathryn very hard with a powerful Signal Beam, which does a lot of damage, possibly giving a chance to kncok Kathryn out this round (6 Energy, 16 Damage). Kathryn, however, continues to fight, hard, hitting SupaKupa with another powerful Psyshock, wounding him badly (5 Energy, 20 Damage).

Finally, SupaKupa gets around to attacking Kathryn properly, and he decides on another powerful Venoshock at Kathryn, even if she isn''t poisoned. However, even with this, the attack proves to be more than Kathryn can stand, and she too falls, unable to fight any more (8 Energy, 12 Damage). This leaves the match over, and pimpgangster and Lord Jesseus Win! gg and wp to all, and I hope you had fun! Standard rewards for everyone, and two KO counters for pimpgangster''s SupaKupa.

Good game everyone. Apologies to to DFrog for not supporting as much as I could, but there is only so much Kathryn can do with that low speed. Anyway, it was a pleasure starting this match.

@Athenodoros-So is that 2TC, 1EC, 2MC, and 1 DCfor everyone and 2KO Counters for SupaKupa?

Ah damn, he got both KO counters... Oh well, he was more of a team player what with his heal pulse and all. Good game everyone.
