If OU and Ubers can have a thread like this, than so can Other Metagames. This thread is basically for posting silly, stupid, or otherwise amusing things you've seen in an OM. This goes both for movesets and items than it does for plays, to an extent. Using Toxic on a Poison Heal Gliscor can be understandable, but not if the only other Pokemon in the opposing team is Lucario.

Be careful, though. Just because something is silly in standard play doesn't mean it's silly in a certain OM. Every set is relative to the metagame For instance, Fire Blast Darmanitan is completely unviable in UU, but it's actually pretty good in Averagemons or Bluntmons. Likewise, using Outrage/Fusion Bolt/Ice Beam/Dragon Claw Kyurem-B is quite good in OU, but laughable in Hackmons.

Speaking of Hackmons, most posts will probably come from that metagame, since there are infinite possibilites for stupidity. For instance, I just recently went against a Mega-Houndoom with Body Slam, Flame Wheel, Fire Spin, and Counter.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-85225687 -- Let's see...

-Pidgeot with Flying Gem and Fly/Heat Wave.
-Flame Charge + Sheer Force Fire Gem Darmanitan.
-Graveler.
-Gurdurr is pretty silly in BH anyway, but this one takes the cake for holding a Sitrus Berry (not that it helped, anyway).
-Outrage may not necessarily be silly, but it's still a free switch for Pixilate Xerneas (and now Pixilate Arc-Fairy)
-Gyarados with a Mega Stone. Why not just run Mega-Gyarados with an item? Ability shenanigans notwithstanding, the timing was still awful. Not as dumb as the other stuff, though.

Woah woah hold on there. Most of those are pretty dumb, but gyara with mega stone is viable, because it has mold breaker. This allows you to basically have two abilities. For example, simple + shell smash, then mega and sweep with mold breaker

Yeah, except he Mega-Evolved first turn (actually giving himself a Boomburst weakness in the process), so that's not the case.

^Fair enough, and I edited my post for that. Totally forgot about the ability change, which is actually pretty dumb considering I was using Kangaskhan in that battle.

On another note, BH silliness, part 1:

-Nasty Plot Gengar. Seriously, do people not know about the Tail Glow buff?
-Hone Claws and/or Bulk Up. The former is an offender way more often, but I've seen a BU set or two today.
-Harvest with no obvious plan: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-85664213
- http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-85654749 -- Not that I'm unfamiliar with the mechanics of Doom Desire, but is there any benefit to using it in BH at all?
-Also in that battle, Hydreigon with Switcheroo Ring Target and what I can only assume is Power Herb Unburden Archeops.
-Smeargle.
-Baton Passing boosts to an Imposter Chansey.

And finally: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-85665431

-Physical Balloon Keldeo
-Air Balloon Cube
-Physical Kyogre
-Bounce + Aerial Ace Virizion (Fixing the classic problem of power vs. accuracy)
-You never see it in the replay, but Focus Blast Terrakion
-Aguav Berry (Seriously, what's up with Aguav Berries?)

Well, Ring Target lets Dragon-type attacks hit Fairies, but it's still not worth the setup turn. Heck, I don't think there's any reason to use Ring Target ever. Except maybe in standard OU, you could give one to Aegislash. Then, when the opponent uses Superpower or Close Combat to avoid the King's Shield attack drop, they'll get hit with it anyway. Pretty darn gimmicky, though.

Edit: Gimmicky things happen when Imposter is combined with Mega Evolution: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-86424086

Using a Serene Grace para-flinch team in Gen V BH resulted in this classic:

That was great. "Firebeard: you are not using a serene grace shaymin" :D

Well, as long as this topic isn't getting locked, I'll reveal some of the ridiculous things I've seen.

This battle contains SO MUCH ineptitude...

A Level 98 Torrent Greninja in Averagemons...

So this guy has one Pokémon. A Stance Change Aegislash. And apparently, it isn't holding an item. (My Weavile runs Magician+Fling, hence the reason why I'm even using Weavile in BH. It has 130 base Speed, which I think is that fastest of any Dark-type that also has something resembling an Attack stat. Is he laddering down or something?
If he is, he's an idiot; the minimum ladder rank is now 1000 :p

I had a guy recently cuss me out and told me he hoped that I would die because when he bumped into the Gen V Trick team I resurrected. (I have a Gen VI Trick team, but I've messed it up so badly it'd be easier to rebuild from the Gen V one than to try to fix it). After about 25 turns of stealing his items, ruining all of his offensive threats, and walling him, he forfeited.

And then I forgot to save the replay. >.>

So instead, allow me to share with you a replay from my very early days of when I brought 6 Imposter Blisseys to BH and had little idea what I was doing! In this instance, I'm the silly thing being seen in Other Metas. Though be warned, the replay is about 110 turns long.

Yeah, I did that once.. or twice... or over and over again...

I mainly do it to scout what the opposing team has in case it's silly. And it's very often silly.

Like this guy, who appeared to like Skill Link enough to use an Arm Thrust Poliwrath :

A pretty legit battle, although Rapid Spin/ESpeed/Oblivion Wing/Psystrike Mega Mewtwo-Y is questionable.

I think there are a few glitches regarding Imposter. For instance, I never copy Stance Change for some reason.
