Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/almostanyability-147776126
Offensive Shell Smash+Acupressure Shuckle and mixed Blastoise with a Wiki Berry. Also, one guy used, but did not send out, Raichu, Mismagius, and Glaceon.

Not entirely sure what the mechanics of GenNext are, but I'm pretty sure Phione and mono-bug teams are still odd.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-147775276
A solo, standard (Nasty Plot and all) Chatot swept past 3 Fire types, one of them being Wild Charge Typhlosion, only to get stopped by Sturdy Head Smash Donphan.

Not worth posting the replay for this one, but someone brought a Furret into Hackmons, then timed out before making a move.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-147774630
Magic Bounce failure, Red Card Skarmory, Hurricane Parental Bond Mega Gyarados, and Focus Miss Speed Boost Mega Mewtwo Y.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/metagamiate-147774285
Pikachu, Leavanny, Gyarados Mega Evolving in front of Hitmontop, and Hyper Beam Thundurus.

Weavile hearkens back to RBY (sort of) by killing Mawile with Giga Impact.

why did you stalk my battle ;_;

Weedle has, and always will be, one of my favorite pokemon. Ever since I first heard its cry in the anime, killed Brock's onix with a lucky poison sting, and saw its face, I knew that it would be one of the best pokemon in the history (past and future) of pokemon. Naturally, I just HAD to create a mono-Weedle team and ladder with it on BH, peaking at 1231 today with a record of 10-1.

Conclusion? Weedle is indeed based. With its unrivaled attacking stats, perfect typing, and wonderful synergy with other weedles, these teams are a force to reckon with. They have extreme versatility, as each set on my team and each specialized analysis on the Comprehensive Guide to BH are all somewhat different. It's very unpredictable; you don't know if the set that you're facing is Life Orb Sheer force, Roar of time, Magic Bounce, Simplesmash, or even (WEED)le. The one thing that held back Weedle in standard metas was its 4 move options and only 1 somewhat viable ability. With that remedied in BH, Weedle has been able to thrive as an otherwise puny bug species.

Weedle is so based, he makes people think I'm hacking by taking Arceus's brave birds at -1 defense.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-147905478
This man is using some of the most broken things in the game; Draco meteor Gabite, Focus Punch Blaziken, and Solarbeam Abomasnow. With a lot of fighting spirit, the Weedles muscle their way through.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-147913940
This man has so much confidence, he's setting up SDs over my prankster Weedle. But overconfidence is one of the darkest traits of mankind, and as a result of it, he loses.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-147924564
Even with the Bounce/Refesh/Future Sight + Sap Sipper Azumarill and the Aerial Ace + Foul Play Honchkrow (top tier threats btw), he was unable to overcome my weedles.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-147927616
This man already knows my team; yet the unbreakable core that the weedles form proves to be too much for him yet again.

So you might be like, "but deez gais r all nubs".
Well, to be fair...
Oh look at the time, you're about to be late for your scheduled event thingy that you can't miss. So I won't even bother writing an explanation because you won't have time to read it. kthxbye

No replay, but I faced a mono Poison team in Metagamiate. He was not prepared for Boomburst Noivern, alas.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/metagamiate-148209332
And then there's the people who use three mon teams. One of them was Banded Dusknoir.

I don't care how powerful it is, Rock Double-Edge on Excadrill is not smart. Then Uproar Gengar happened.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/almostanyability-148216188
Thunder Wave+Gyro Ball Ferrothorn. Against Vespiquen (which at least had Gale Wings), of all things. It later used Gyro Ball on Snorlax, again after paralyzing it (and overstacking hazards). And if you're gonna use Harvest, at least use ChestoRest.

Assault Vest Metagross with Switcheroo. And not even Klutz, it had Magic Bounce. Glitch, perhaps? Also featuring non-Imposter Chansey using Toxic on a paralyzed Mega Latios, Crobat BP'ing its "boosts" after being hit by Topsy-Turvy, and Mega Evolving Kangaskhan.

Pandora 1v1 player fitting the stereotype and using Samurott.

For the record, Metagross tricked a Choice Scarf, obtaining an Assault Vest in the process.

Chansey used Toxic on what would be Yveltal, the other player just happened to switch to Latios-Mega, so it's kinda justified. Also, since only Kangaskhan-Mega can have Parental Bond in BH it's kinda justified as Kangaskhan could have a useful ability - Simple is common on mega-evolving mons for quick setting up - not to mention it provides him protection against Knock off. Kinda.

Special Shedinja sweep. Of course, that's not difficult, considering what his opponent had.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-148554294
Aurorus, Sheer Cold Deoxys-S without No Guard, a Blissey that wasn't Imposter, and Porygon-Z that thought it could Boomburst its way past said Blissey.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/hackmons-148557735
One Sturdinja trying to E-speed another, normal Mewtwo Sporing a poisoned (albeit almost dead, so he might have predicted a switch) Spiritomb, then doing it to Chansey while T-spikes were up, and later using Nature Power, Power Split+E-speed Chansey, yet another Magic Bounce awareness fail, and Perish Trap Skarmory not switching out in time (and stacking Gastro Acid on Mega Aggron).

And lastly, in a battle that wasn't worth sharing (sorry), Giratina with Mail.

Yes, that is Aerial Ace Talonflame.

Lairon and Delibird, people. Lairon and Delibird.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/metagamiate-148602881
I didn't even know that Lucario could LEARN Water Pulse.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/metagamiate-148605412
Farfetch'd, Dragonair, Poliwrath with Hydro Pump, non-Mega Blastoise with Hydro Cannon, Mega Charizard X with Fire Blast... this guy is a noob.
http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/metagamiate-148606954
Water Pulse Lucario again.
