Silly Things You've Seen In Other Metagames

Playing FU, I encountered this....

Veggie Madien used Knock Off!
It's super effective! The opposing this is garbage lost 6% of its health!
Veggie Madien knocked off the opposing this is garbage's Assault Vest!
Veggie Madien lost some of its HP!

LO Leavanny needs to be used more often... but Assault Vest Metang does not.
well the name is fitting, is it not?

Crit or no crit, Takane would have eliminated Sableye in two hits.

Among Takane's lunar powers, the one of completely shutting down Baton Pass teams.

★thanatosdreams: greninja???????/
★thanatosdreams: i think nut
Was he unaware of his own Zoroark's ability? Also, Quick Claw Skarmory and Takane saving the day again, with this nice quote:
★thanatosdreams:turn 100 producer-san has won
Well, it would have been way shorter than that.

I made a completely random team and hid in a alt called "Insane Lunatic" in the daily hackmons tourney. I am surprised how far that team made it to. It made it to the finals...then i got swept by some move that is full of sheer and full of coldness.

Tip by Ransei: If you are making a random hackmons team, try not to have both your wonder guards weak to Ice, or you'll pay the price like I did ;~;

I don't even care that I lost the daily tourney lol. Is it supposed to be all about competition?

SubCM Meowstic-M, Fake Out+Last Resort Aipom (and Aipom at all, for that matter), and Assault Vest Gigalith.

Metronome battles are funny enough, but this one takes the cake, especially for how it ended.

A Level 50 team that can't decide what it wants the weather to be vs. a team that had Air Balloon Magcargo and Belly Drum Poliwrath.

Protect Diggersby, Dazzling Gleam Chansey, Mawile that wasn't mega, Rocky Helmet Greninja, and Giga Drain+Sky Uppercut Effect Spore Breloom (on a side note, TIL Drill Run makes contact).

And, of course, the requisite mons that have no business in AG, but that should go without saying at this point.

Got a few head scratchers here, such as Trick Room Kadabra (although, to be fair, Sticky Web was up), Explosion Solrock, and Misdreavus using Curse while at 18%.

Next time, mega evolve your Absol BEFORE Breloom uses Spore. Also starring Frenzy Plant Serperior.

Actually, if Mega Gengar wasn't holding Gengarite, it could not have actually had Shadow Tag, since it's banned in BH. If a Pokémon has a trapping ability as a possible ability, Showdown will display the "You may be trapped" message regardless of whether they actually have the ability. Of course, it also displays it when you are trapped even if the Pokémon is not one that can normally have that ability, which is a dead giveaway in metas like Almost Any Ability where Magnet Pull is everywhere.

Nah, it actually prevented Mega-Audino from switching out, only to reveal the red card

Just because shitmons get buffed in Tier Shift does not mean they are no longer shitmons. Looking at you, Shell Smash Magcargo.

Yep.

Run in FEAR! (Pun very much intended.)

Too bad Mega Manectric destroyed this guy, I wanted to see what other mediocre stuff this guy had. What I did see was non-sashed Smeargle, Scald Gyarados, and Fake Out Sableye.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-203392848
As bad as Carbink is, at least this one managed to make a Spinda kill itself. Only to blow up against nothing. The double freeze from Tri Attack was funny, too.

More rather odd things, including my favorite: Thunderbolt Ferrothorn.

Not that I had any to begin with, but this is making me lose more and more respect for the AG ladder by the minute.

Foul Play Weavile, and one guy who apparently does not get the concept of a Choice Scarf.

See my above remarks on the AG ladder.

Not necessarily bad things, but this battle was won with, of all moves, Struggle.

Not sure if shadow tag+red card is worse than protean salamence with shadow sneak/extremespeed/fake out that then mega evolved. Also, you guys should take a look at the PU usage stats.
67% of carvanha running no item (Carvanha in general is bad)
Dusknoir's items including rocky helmet, LO, scarf, WP and nothing (basically only CB is viable)
carracosta's most common teammates including 5% hypo at #2
sitrus berry rotom-F being more common than LO
LO golem to make good use of sturdy
eviolite kadabra
More lefties flareon than cb
26% of Beheeyem are AV
26% of zebstrika are scarf and 10% have me first
45% of relicanth run defensive SR (what's a carracosta)
only 53% of stoutland are sand rush
31% of victreebel are AV
Fire blast lickilicky
Less than 20% of golem are the standard (good) max attack max speed adamant WP set
HP fighting rotom-F
X-Scissor Leafeon (good in theory but has better ways of dealing with tangela)
AV electrode
25% of Tauros have IRON HEAD
AV Garbodor and CB throh
7% of Stantler (which is garbage) run brightpowder
Pikachu has more usage than solrock and vigoroth combined (as well as plenty of other good mons, just picked those two) if you combine all dress up forms (yes, people use nerd and pop star and anything other than belle on the ladder)

PU ladder folks. Nothing beats it

What's wrong with that? It sounds like a decent coverage move for Tauros, especially since it gets boosted by Sheer Force.
Yes, but it already need rock climb, earthquake, rock slide, fire blast, even thunderbolt is viable. Iron tail is used because of the 2hkos it grabs (i.e. misdreavus) very occasionally, but tauros doesn't have room on a good set for iron head.

Relying on Iron Tail for a 2HKO is roughly equivalent to relying on Focus Blast for a 2HKO. That's literally a 56.25% chance of landing both hits, so that's your 2HKO chance right there even if both hits connecting is a guaranteed 2HKO.

Hence the rarity. Fact still remains that iron head is bad (and the statistic was passed to me by magnemite and discussed in PU room, so this isn't just one random poster's opinion).

WEEDLE. That's all. Or not...

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/balancedhackmons-203993548
Mew (when Mewtwo exists) with Transform, non-Mega (or Sceptilite) Sceptile and Egg Bomb Blissey without Imposter.

http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/monotype-203993738
Jump Kick (not High Jump Kick) + Bounce Mega Lopunny and Smeargle setting up Sticky Web while a Serperior is lurking in the shadows. Also, spinning while at 1 HP and against a Ferrothorn will result in their hazards still up.

been browsing around the watch a battle thing
i saw this garbage pop up http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/anythinggoes-204265435
im not even going to spoil it its just too funny

luxray using strength against aggron
Luxray without a status orb. (Nor did it have intimidate.)
an opposing gyarados using hyperbeam against aggron.
gardevoir thinking moonblast would be the best way to defeat gengar (wasnt even scarfed)
