The Ref's Mind:
The mind is a powerful thing, so its time we used it to maximize the opportunity to have interesting battles! The battlers have somehow found themselves inside the creativity center of the referee, and they are at his mercy! the ref can make anything happen, and controls all aspects! from the arena setting to the accuracy of moves to the color of the pokemon! for example, the first round might be in an volcano, and if a player uses a bug type move twice his opponent will lose 10 energy! the match can be as simple or as intense as the ref wishes. Battlers have fun coping and adapting to what the refs throw at you!
Alright, so I guess here's the teams?

Team SimonSays:

Fighting: Fighting STAB; ignore weight restrictions on Circle Throw, Seismic Toss, Sky Drop, Storm Throw, Submission, and Vital Throw. Superior reaction time in close quarters.

Abilities:
Shed Skin: (Innate) This Pokemon regularly sheds its skin and any impurities contained in its body. If afflicted with a status condition, this Pokemon has a 33% chance of removing all status conditions at the end of a round.
Air Lock: (Innate) This Pokemon releases immense barometric pressure, clearing the weather in the arena and preventing the effect of weather moves and abilities from taking place.
Mummy (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon's skin has a lasting curse on it. When struck by an opponent's contact move, the curse transfers, changing the opponent's ability(ies) to Mummy for the next six (6) actions.

Aggron (Baron) (M)
Nature: Jolly (Multiplies base Speed by 1.15 and provides a flat accuracy boost on all attacks equal to its new Base Speed squared, then divided based on its evolution stage. (Formula: ACC Boost = (New Base^2)/Divisor [Round Normally, Max: 30]). The Divisor is 870 for fully evolved Pokemon, 580 for Pokemon that are the second of three stages, 435 for Pokemon that are the first of two stages, and 290 for Pokemon that are the first of three stages. This accuracy boost is added to their Dodge Command chance; Subtracts one (1) Rank from Special Attack)
Type: Steel/Rock
Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.
Rock: Rock STAB; Reduce damage from all special attacks by two (2) Base Attack Power during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Abilities:
Sturdy: (Innate) This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.
Rock Head: (Innate) This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash.
Heavy Metal: (DW) (Innate) The Pokemon's body structure is immensely dense, doubling its actual weight. Additionally, when the Pokemon uses Giga Impact, Gyro Ball, Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Tackle, recoil and uncontrollable attacks [Full list: Double-Edge, Giga Impact, Gyro Ball, Head Charge, Head Smash, Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Hi Jump Kick, Jump Kick, Outrage, Petal Dance, Submission, Tackle, Take Down, Thrash, Volt Tackle, Wood Hammer, and Wild Charge] it will calculate using a Weight Class that adds a value equal to the Pokemon's Weight Class divided by their Size Class, minus (-) one (1). Alright, so here's the first arena you guys will be fighting in.

College Classroom:

Just a typical college classroom that could seat about 300 students. The chairs can be used for Rock Slide, but instead of the chance to flinch, they have a chance of lowering Special defense (too much homework). There are no natural elements, not even water, and if you damage the arena, besides the aforementioned chairs, you will be fined $10 or your current pokemon will take 10 damage, whichever is not the former. This includes, digging into the carpet, causing an Earthquake, causing a fire (missing with a fire attack).

Now fight!

Alright, Smudge, let's do this!

It's going to be a tough matchup, but at least our opponent can't Earthquake freely.

Hold this Amulet Coin, please, and use Sticky Hold (though it hardly matters)

IF Head Smash is used, Counter it and replace all remaining actions with Solarbeam

My classrooms, for the most part, are sunny, with windows and skylights. However, we are in Maxim's mind.

Maxim, don't think about Sunshine! At all!

Ha, now there's sun everywhere.

Round 1: You've just been schooled

Welcome folks to this exciting match at...I'm not sure where exactly, but I'm sure we'll find out.

In this corner, we have ever-repeating Simon Says and his menacing Aggron, Baron! And in this corner, we have the quote to end all quotes, End Quote and his Swalot, Smudge!

Swalot seems to be gathering sunlight, which makes the paranoid Aggron put up a substitute out of some scrap metal. His paranoia paid off though, as Swalot wasn't just charging up a Solarbeam, he decided to combine it with a Hyper Beam and create a simply massive Solar Flare attack. Despite doing twice as much damage as the substitute had, Aggron was mostly unaffected. (The room I was imagining didn't have any windows, but I didn't say it did and no natural elements might have been a bit too vague.)

Aggron lets out a loud roar that just screams "Now it's my turn!" and charges at the Swalot with a reckless Head Smash...and then misses the Swalot completely. He careens into a wall that somehow doesn't get damaged. Weird. Anyway, the Swalot had to cool down from that attack.

Furious, Aggron...Protects? Well, I guess the Swalot was yawning to help rest from the hyper beam portion of that attack...

What the---now we're in a new arena!? It looks similar to Orphan's Cradle, but I don't think this is the right place...

Next arena:
Orphan's Cradle?:
You are currently in a place that resembles Orphan's Cradle from Final Fantasy XIII, but the background is blue for some odd reason. The arena is a circle 100 meters in diameter, and you're hovering above the abyss. Your pokemon can use an action "Push [pokemon] off the arena" which will deal a flat 20 points of damage. However, it can be stopped by just about anything, substitute, taunt (if you're not sure about a particular move, VM me and I'll make sure) and has -9 priority. Further complicating matters is the fact that any moves that miss will hit the user instead. Have fun. All moves can be used.

Round 2: Fantasies and Pipe Dreams

Well, apparently I forgot to assign an energy cost to pushing people off the arena, so this action costs no energy!

Welcome back, here we are at Faux Orphan's Cradle watching two brave contestants fight each other. Aggron has a tremendous lead, but Swalot seems to have a trick or two up its sleeve.

Aggron begins the assault with another Head Smash, which unluckily for End Quote, hits the Swalot in a weak spot with a critical hit. However, this reckless attack left Aggron completely open to counter attack, which the Swalot abused to push him off the arena. That's gotta hurt.

Aggron wasn't too happy about that, so he decided to make the earth shake a bit. This did reasonable damage, but the Swalot is up to his tricks again, and retaliates with tremendous force, countering the attack. This attack seems to have put the pokemon on a roughly even playing field.

Furious at the damage he's sustained, Aggron goes in for another Head Smash, which does tremendous damage again! However, Swalot doesn't push Aggron off the arena again. Instead he yawned trying to put Aggron to sleep.

Well, it's hard to say who will win here. If Swalot can survive Aggron's next attack, he'll probably have this match in the bag.

Castle Ramparts
You find yourself in an arena resembling a castle...while it's under attack! The arena itself consists of two opposing round platforms (the turrets) and a surprisingly narrow bridge between them. As such, any contact attacks will be reduced in accuracy by 20% to account for falling, and if it misses, the pokemon takes 10 damage and the standard energy cost. Additionally, each action there is a 50% chance of a catapult from the opposing army accidentally shooting your pokemon with a flaming boulder, which will be equivalent to a fire attack with 10 base power coming from a pokemon with 5 rank attack

Round 3: Fire Emblems...okay they're just giant flaming boulders hurtling straight towards your face.

Welcome back everyone to...wherever we are.

In any case, this time we seem to be at a castle under siege. You know, I'm starting to get used to these arena changes.

Enough of my rambling, on with the match! Aggron starts by making a strong substitute, which expends most of his energy. Swalot seems impressed by this, and give him an encore. Too bad Aggron can't comply with that fan request, since he's fallen into an Intense Sleep. The rocks seem to be responding though, as a large boulder crashes right into Swalot.

Well, while Aggron takes a snooze, Swalot does something productive and launches a BEAM OF DIVINE RETRIBUTION...oh no that's just a Solarbeam. Buzzkill. This time the boulders hit their intended targets...the walls.

Aggron spends the next action...unable to wake up. Swalot takes advantage of this by...flinging mud? I don't know what that was supposed to accomplish though, the steel of the sub was too thick to penetrate and slinging mud at a statue doesn't affect Aggron's accuracy at all. Finally, the enemy army seems tired of the lack of a show, so they launch a Molotov cocktail flaming boulder at both competitors, breaking Aggrons sub and fainting Swalot.

Well, now that that's over, maybe we can find a more...sane...arena? WHY ARE WE RUNNING DOWN A SPACE ELEVATOR?!?!

Round 5: Um, I think we might be at the center of the earth by now...

Eh, why do these guys keep trying to use natural elements when there are none. Well I guess this'll be a rather short round. *rocks teleport in* Okay I guess that problem fixed itself (I don't feel like hounding you guys for better orders when I took a week off).

Well, back on the elevator, Galvantula somehow manages to summon a giant thunderbolt from out of nowhere, but it misses the elevator completely and hits mars instead. Apparently, Revenankh likes Mars, so he cusses out Galvantula making him afraid to use repetitive actions.

Galvantula tries to use a repetitive action, the Volt Switch from earlier, but doesn't have the stomach to do it lest he hit Martians. Taking advantage of his opponent's silly beliefs, Revenankh throws a special rock at Galvantula that pins him to the ground.

Galvantula has finally realized the hypocrisy though, and summons another Thunder which actually hits it's target this time. Revenankh is stunned by the fastness of this attack, and decides to slow him down by entombing him in rocks.

Well, now that the elevator is done, now where are---OH NO!

GLaDoS: "Ah, hello. How have you been? I've been real busy, being dead. How does it feel, to have MURDERED ME? *picks up Maxim* But I'm willing to let bygones be bygones and we can get back to testing. *drops Maxim in the defunct incinerator* In the meantime, I will be your ref."

GLaDOS: "Hello, how have you been? My calculations told me you would return here and now you are here...to test. That idiot who MURDERED me is running around here somewhere, but let me explain the arena while I'm waiting for him to fall into my trap. Before you you will notice a 100 m by 100 m arena filled with white tiles (they make excellent shower curtains) and a 20m by 20m hole in the center. All moves can be used here, and if you post Portalize (attack), your pokemon will jump down the holes through a portal which will give that attack extra momentum boosting it's attack by 1.5x the end value. However, doing such will tire out your pokemon more and cost 3 more energy, as well as causing 25% recoil for slamming into the wall. This is a test to see what effects portals have on pokemon, especially the curious phenomenon of getting recoil even if using a ranged move."

The second Thunder should have instead have been a Disable, because of EQ's sub.

Being on the ceiling only brings us closer to the THUNDER!

Thunder ~ Thunder ~ Thunder

IF Torment is used, replace a2 with a Thunder Wave.

In all seriousness, this is probably it, Watt.
Let's just pray for parahax...

Round 7: Topsy Turvy

Load Complete.

Welcome back folks! Despite my absence due to mad AI, I'm still willing to ref this insane battle.

Galvantula opens this match up with a furious Thunder attack, which damages Revenankh so badly that it ends up paralyzed! Bummer. Revenankh is so ticked off by this that he launches a massive attack. Rocks and furniture rain down from the floor (?) and land on Galvantula, which then add more injury with the sand flowing in from the outside of the room filling in the cracks and getting into the wounds. That's gotta hurt.

Apparently, Galvantula was so enraged by this that he launches another BOLT OF DIVINE RETRIBUTION. (Thunder) Which prompts Revenankh to...take a break. I guess that King's Tomb combo took more out of him than I thought.

Normally, Revenankh would go first, but thankfully for End Quote, the paralysis put a stop to that, and let Galvantula launch a final Thunder before succumbing to life orb death. And what do you know! That Thunder was just enough to finish off Revenankh too. A double KO!

Now as both trainers send out their last pokemon, they find themselves in the throne room of some lazy idiot of a queen and...

"WHO DARES call me a lazy idiot. To the Dungeon with him!"

"Oh no, not again"

Next Arena:
Protea's Throne Room
Well, here you are, the throne room of Granorg's leader, Protea. You've apparently been drafted to be her amusement tonight, and you better be on your best behavior. If any of your moves miss and damage the arena, or the battle bores her (or maybe even if it doesn't, ref discretion), she'll have her Charizard (wait, where'd she get that from?) with a sp. atk + nature use a Blast Burn on your pokemon at the end of the action. Other than that, this arena is normal. Kudos if you know the reference.

Both trainers send out last mon (automatic)
