Is it possible to clone without using outside devices like powersaves in X&Y? If I recall correctly, there's still the trading type where one person resets to keep the Pokemon while the other person still receives it, but doesn't this run the risk of corrupting a save file or some other bad result?

I can possibly do it depending on what you need done.
I think the save file is safe, but you probably run the risk of losing the pokemon entirely.

It is absolutely possible. Find someone who can RNG and make a request is probably the best way to go about getting one.
Losing it entirely even on the file that doesn't reset (i.e. The recipient in the trade?)
(Or ask me... I've already done one.)
There was a dispute about someone losing a pokemon due to a failed clone in the wifi blacklist thread some time ago, so I assume so.

You're going to have to catch it if you want it in a special ball, and if you want good IV's along with it, you need to learn how to do Wild RNG. (4th and 5th Gen)
I'm at the point where I can soft reset Yveltal, what nature/s would be best for it?
I suggest Calm. No one has done that one yet or I haven't seen many.

I guess so.. I haven't seen any 31/x/31/31/31/31 Calm ones around here. All the Modest/Timid/Bold/Impish have been taken.

Lol I have a Lure Ball Staryu, but Modest w/HP Fire though. But I'd only be interested in KB legends or 5th gen RNGs. I can give you mine for free if you want (in exchange for a credit or something.)
