For my 500th post and end of generation rmt I decided to do the last team I built for the BSD ladder. Even if its not as popular anymore BSD will always be one of my favorite formats. Even though some of the Battle Spot people may have thought I was a singles main bobochan my best formats are doubles.

Teambuilding

To start the team I began with a core of Kangaskhan and QD Volcarona. Volcarona is one of my favorite Pokemon to use, and Kangaskhan is an excellent partner for it providing Fake Out support and high physical damage output.

I then added Amoonguss because it is probably the best redirector in bsd. Rage Powder can help Volcarona set up or let kangaskhan hit things. It helps the team by checking trick room and water-types.

Cresselia was the next addition to my team because I needed a solid answer to both Landorus-therian and Mega Salamence. Cresselia also contributed much needed bulk to the team.

Rotom-W and Landorus-Therian were the final members added to the team. They help mitigate the teams weakness to Fire-types like Heatran, Talonflame, and Charizard Y. Landorus-T's Intimidate is a great for increasing the team's physical bulk.

Team Members

Megamom (Kangaskhan) @ Kangaskhanite
Ability: Scrappy
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Fake Out
- Low Kick
- Double-Edge
- Sucker Punch

I chose Fake Out to help Volcarona set up more easily. It is also a great move in doubles in general for supporting the team. Low Kick was chosen to give Kangaskhan a more immediate offensive presence against Heatran which walls 3 members of the team. Double Edge>Return because I wanted Kangaskhan to do the most amount of damage possible. Jolly was used to at least speed tie with opposing Kangaskhan.
252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Low Kick (100 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Mega Kangaskhan: 168-200 (92.8 - 110.4%) -- 59.8% chance to OHKO
252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Low Kick (120 BP) vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Heatran: 194-230 (116.1 - 137.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 92 HP / 116 Def Sylveon: 180-214 (98.9 - 117.5%) -- 98.4% chance to OHKO

Amy (Amoonguss) (F) @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Regenerator
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 188 Def / 68 SpD
Relaxed Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spe
- Giga Drain
- Rage Powder
- Spore
- Protect

Amoonguss is just a great pokemon in BSD. Rocky Helmet and Rage Powder help it deal lots of damage to Kangaskhan. Spore along with its low speed stat help the team against Trick Room which is otherwise a very poor match up.
-1 252 Atk Parental Bond Mega Kangaskhan Double-Edge vs. 252 HP / 188+ Def Amoonguss: 97-115 (43.8 - 52%) -- 2.6% chance to 2HKO
252+ SpA Aegislash-Blade Shadow Ball vs. 252 HP / 68 SpD Amoonguss: 93-109 (42 - 49.3%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
+6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 188+ Def Amoonguss: 181-213 (81.9 - 96.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Buff Luna (Cresselia) @ Safety Goggles
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
EVs: 236 HP / 4 Def / 236 SpA / 4 SpD / 28 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Psychic
- Ice Beam
- Helping Hand
- Thunder Wave

Cresselia is a great counter to both Landorus-T and Salamence. With this EV spread it ohkos both using Ice Beam. Psychic is also surprisingly strong coming off almost fully invested Cresselia. Some evs were placed in speed to outspeed defensive Rotoms. Safety Goggles improves the team's match up against Amoonguss which can check 4 other members of the team. Thunder Wave was chosen as speed control because full paralysis wins games.
236+ SpA Cresselia Ice Beam vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 188-224 (113.9 - 135.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO
236+ SpA Cresselia Ice Beam vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Mega Salamence: 172-204 (100.5 - 119.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO
236+ SpA Cresselia Psychic vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Amoonguss: 138-164 (62.4 - 74.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Tiger Lily (Volcarona) @ Lum Berry
Ability: Flame Body
Level: 50
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Modest Nature / Timid Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Quiver Dance
- Heat Wave
- Giga Drain
- Protect

When properly supported Quiver Dance Volcarona is one of the best pokemon in the game. A Lum Berry helps prevent Thundurus from paralyzing Volcarona and crippling it. Giga Drain>Bug Buzz so that you can beat most bulky Water-types 1v1. The Volcarona I used on cart is Timid but Modest is probably the better nature overall. When using the team it's okay to sack it against Kangaskhan to get a burn on it if needed.
+1 252+ SpA Volcarona Heat Wave vs. 252 HP / 84 SpD Amoonguss: 222-264 (100.4 - 119.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
+2 252+ SpA Volcarona Heat Wave vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 165-195 (100 - 118.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
4 SpA Milotic Scald vs. +1 4 HP / 0 SpD Volcarona: 60-72 (37.2 - 44.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO

George W. (Rotom-Wash) @ Sitrus Berry
Ability: Levitate
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 44 Def / 60 SpA / 148 SpD / 4 Spe
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Thunderbolt
- Hydro Pump
- Will-O-Wisp
- Protect

Rotom-W is a great addition to the team as an additional Salamence and Landorus-T check in addition to having a good match up against most fire-types and bulky water-types. Will-o-wisp can help cripple physical attackers like Kangaskhan.
252+ SpA Choice Specs Hydreigon Draco Meteor vs. 252 HP / 148+ SpD Rotom-W: 135-159 (85.9 - 101.2%) -- 6.3% chance to OHKO
252+ SpA Mega Charizard Y Solar Beam vs. 252 HP / 148+ SpD Rotom-W: 132-156 (84 - 99.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Sitrus Berry recovery
60 SpA Rotom-W Thunderbolt vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Talonflame: 152-182 (98.7 - 118.1%) -- 93.8% chance to OHKO
60 SpA Rotom-W Hydro Pump vs. 4 HP / 0 SpD Landorus-T: 168-198 (101.8 - 120%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252+ Atk Huge Power Mega Mawile Play Rough vs. 252 HP / 44 Def Rotom-W: 132-156 (84 - 99.3%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Sitrus Berry recovery

Floaty Tiger (Landorus-Therian) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Intimidate
Level: 50
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide
- U-turn
- Superpower

Landorus-Therian is just such an amazing pokemon in doubles. In BSPL (Go LVG!) it had a 67% usage rate because Intimidate and Rock Slide are amazing. I prefer the Scarf set over others because I like the higher speed.

Overall the team has few major weaknesses but I do feel uncomfortable against certain opponents. Pokemon that can cause problems for the team are Sylveon/Gardevoir, Politoed/Kingdra/Ludicolo, Charizard Y, and Trick Room teams. Aegislash and Kangaskhan also require careful planning to beat.
