I started off with Choice Band Zygarde which allows for Zygarde to be more powerful without set up and has high potential to 2HKO Pokemon like Tapu Fini and offensive Landorus-T after Stealth Rock, I chosen 96 speed evs so I can out speed max speed Adamant Mega Scizor and Tapu Bulu, the rest of remaining 160 evs go to HP so it allows Zygarde to live more hits than usual and turns Zygarde into a bulky attacker.

Zygarde struggles against Grass Types so I added Mega Charizard Y to deal with Zygarde's weakness in return Zygarde deals with Tyranitar and faster threats with Extreme Speed like weakened Greninja and Pheromosa which Mega Charizard Y appreciates.

Tapu Fini helps remove hazards which heavily benefits for the team and Mega Charizard Y and helps covers up threats like Weavile, Keldeo and Garchomp while doing its standard stuff with Nature Madness + Taunt + Misty Terrain.

Tangrowth is a great teammate as it deals with threats like Tapu Koko, Ash Greninja and Manaphy which benefits the team quite a lot and makes a neat core with Tapu Fini

This team originally had both Celesteela + Jirachi but in the I chosen to get rid of both of these pokemon and added Brongzong to the team since I wanted something to deal with Mega Metargoss, Tapu Lele and Landorus-t effectively while also setting up rocks which Brongzong fit the bill perfectly.

Finally I chosen Sword Dance Rockium Z Terrakion since I wanted a win con and decided Terrakion as it did not add any Stealth Rock weakness mons, a extra good check to Mega Charizard Y which helps not relying on Zygarde being healthy.

This team is based upon the Ground spam core of Zygarde+Landorus-T. I built it as I was being defeated by defensive builts. SubCoil Zygarde is my favourite set as how it defeats stall. Landorus-T forms a solid core each overwhelming each other's checks. Flynium Z on Landorus-T is to defeat the bulky Grass-types that gives the core trouble. Tapu Bulu pressures bulky Grass and Ground-types that would otherwise annoy the team, while also giving Zygarde recovery through Grassy Terrain. Magnezone was added next as I was walled by bulky Steel-types such as Celesteela and Mega Scizor. It also lets me pivot in Steel and Ice-type attacks which my other members was weak to. Magnezone forming a VoltTurn core with Landorus-T is also neat. I needed Stealth Rock, and also a check to Pheromosa. Alolan Marowak is a nice stop to Pheromosa while also giving me hazard. Lastly, the team is good against defensive builds, so I needed something to check offense. Spikes Greninja fits perfectly, giving me a decent offense cleaner while providing Spikes which help Zygarde and Landorus-T a lot. Thanks for reading the full!

This team is pretty standard but with Coil-Rest-Talk Zygarde with Yache berry it makes the team pretty cool. This scarf phero allows it to outspeed +2 Jolly Landorus-T. The Tapu Fini and Zygarde Speed is to outspeed max speed magearna. And Jolly over Adamant Landorus-T allows it to outspeed other Landorus-T and KO them. You SD as they switch in their Lando-T then just kill them with +1 Flyinium Z. Everything else is Standard and does not need much explaining
+1 252 Atk Landorus-Therian Supersonic Skystrike (175 BP) vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Landorus-Therian: 504-594 (157.9 - 186.2%) -- guaranteed OHKO

i decided to run dd zygarde because i wanted it sweep through teams and take on stuff on mega metagross , gengar , tapu leleby itself . It has toxic because rocky helmet tangrowth still switches in. 1k arrows is a spammable stab and espeed for priority in general.

bronzong is pretty clear in what it does , checking metagross and lando while setting up rocks and my ground resist

volcarona is my pheromosa check . its spread helps it get 3hkod from specs focus blast and has enough speed to outspeed stuff like greninja , dugtrio after 1 qd and roost is for longetivity.

volcarona wouldnt be run without hazard control and fini is arguably the best defog in the tier (removal is shit this gen) pretty standard at what it does and is my zygarde and ash gren check.

at this stage pokemon like zards , volcarona , lele can sweep my team so i added nihilego which is a decent scarfer .

mega venusaur isnt there for a specific reason . it just seemed to synergise well with the team. it has enough speed to outspeed 252 adamant mega mawile.

Spikes Stacking Mega Mawile Bulky Offense

Fairly simple Bulky Offense that revolves around stacking hazards with two of the best setters in the game (Ferrothorn and Landorus-T) and abusing them with the rest of the team. Started off with SD Mawile+Spikes Ferrothorn+SubCoil Zygarde pretty much a the same time as 3 mons that had good synergy and worked well together. Phero was looking annoying and I also needed some Speed control and a revenge killer so I added Scarf Gengar, another Spikes abuser that's just great rn due to the lack of Ghost resists in the tier. It also absorbed t-spikes which could be annoying seeing as I didn't have a hazard remover (and didn't plan to add one). Next I needed a Ground resist/immunity and something that could get rocks vs Stall to break Dug's sash and stuff so I added SD Rockium Landorus-T. Finally I wanted some more Speed control and a way to put more pressure on the opponent's team. I didn't come up with anything so I left it there for a couple of days until someone recommended me to use BB Koko to lure bulky Grass-types and pressure bulky Waters and Skarm/Steela. Also gives me a secondary Mawile and Pinsir check. BB works better with LO but I hate the recoil so I'm just using Magnet

This team is set up in a way to secure cleans for zygarde or volcarona. Volcarona could be used earlier if necessary to break down opposing stall or break down other teams faster than hazard stacking and toxic stalling. Please play carefully with Sableye, it's only really meant as a hazard deterrent. Alomomola has Mirror Coat for special attackers that try to break it with coverage moves, t-bolt magearna is an example of such spa threats. Chansey, Alomomola, and Skarmory are the backbone of the team and should see the most action. Just switch in between them as necessary and punish switches with either hazards or toxic, then set up with volcarona or zygarde. It's really simple.

How the team works
This team is built around Fightnium Z Quiver Dance Pheromosa and Choice Banded Zygarde, the gist of it is, CB Zygarde checks a bunch of QD Pheromosa's counters/checks, such as Gengar, Toxapex, Magearna, etc. and in addition to that, CB Zygarde lures in Tapu Fini for almost 40ish% (+1 252 Atk Zygarde Thousand Arrows vs. 248 HP / 192 Def Tapu Fini: 138-163 (40.2 - 47.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery), which may not seem like nearly enough, but is huge because that's damage that your opponent often is not taking into account and quickly adds up putting Fini in range of +1 All-Out Pummeling from Pheromosa. CB Zygarde is incredibly difficult to switch into, so bring it in by double switching in obvious mons like Toxapex, Heatran, Ferrothorn, etc. plus Banded Extreme Speed is awesome priority.
Magearna exists because it's my Lele answer, and it's awesome at chipping away for QD Phero and CB Zygarde, while Landorus-T is good at being himself, providing a check to the plethora of physical threats in the metagame and of course Stealth Rock and a ground inmunity. Tapu Fini is a great greninja check and it pairs well with Magearna in order to scout for the set (Protean or Battle Bond). Last is Gengar which helps picking off weakened threats and often can pull sweeps in the end thanks to Pheromosa's and Zygarde breaking capabilities. Gengar is an awesome revenge killer as well and takes advantage of the metagame's lack of ghost resists.

I didn't make this team specifically for the thread, I just happened to have a Zygarde team I really liked, so I don't have many replays. I guess I can leave this one from Smogon Tour that kind of showcases the offensive synergy between mosa and zygarde. Zygarde was able to get rid of Tapu Koko by luring it into staying, which allowed Pheromosa to go wild. Not the best example but I couldn't find anything better haha. Have fun with the team :]

This team was built around Zygarde+Celesteela, a nice defensive core which I wanted to play. I chose Toxapex to wall Pheromosa and it helps with Zard X and other pokemons. Then I selected M-Scizor to check MegaGross and to have some momentum with U-Turn. The next I chose is Bulu. Bulu helps the team with SD and Fightinium Z to win against stall with the help of SubCoil Zygarde. The last pokemon is Lando. Landorus gives the team Rocks and another ground immunity. It also helps to check other Zygardes and helps a lot with Intimidate. The idea of the team is to be a Fat Balance and win with Bulu or Zygarde
The team has some problems with very fast teams like HyperOffense, another problem is Gross if MScizor is out because Celesteela won't wall Gross if it runs TPunch.
It has also some problemas with Rain teams because Koko+Kingdra with rain break almost all the team.

Introduction: I honestly don't know what this team would be classified as, maybe Bulky offense or something, though it's lacking a bit on the "offense" side. I originally started the team with Zygarde + Venusaur-Mega + AV Magearna, but later switched to Celesteela. I honestly haven't used this in that amazing play, it's either been on the Ladder, or just a room tour which I often make to semis with, (but that's just me being bad, lol).

Description: This team was built with the intention to use Zygarde, since it was, and still is an amazing mon in OU. Mega-Venusaur was added to help with Zygarde's Fairy weakness, while Zygarde can take a Fire type attack if needed. Next, I added Tapu Fini to add another check to popular fire types, as well as Hazard removal, Mega-Venusaur and Zygarde helped with its Electric weakness anyways. With two decent answers to Electric types in place, I added Celesteela, which provided a Ground Immunity, as well as methods to deal with Tapu Lele, and act as a check to Scizor, and other Flying types. I then added Landorus-T, it was a really good pick considering the previous teammates, it provided Stealth Rock, and a basic blanket check to many Physical attackers in OU, with its water weakness covered, as well as its Ice weakness. Finally, Tapu Lele was added to provide some type of speed, since it's scarf. It acted as a revenge killer or just something that hit decently hard, it was able to annoy offense, while Zygarde annoyed Stall heavily. I really enjoy using the team, and I thought I'd share it with you all, and since the Pokemon this week was Zygarde I thought why not reveal it.

I decided to pair up Venusaur with Tapu Koko, because Tapu Koko lures out Pokemon that Zygarde sets up on. Tapu Koko can U-Turn / Volt Switch out of mons such as Alolan-Marowak, Ferrothorn and Tangrowth. After this, I added Mega Venusaur + Skarmory. This is my defensive core, and it beats mons such as Tapu Fini and Lando-T that trouble Zygarde. I was very weak to set up mons such as Volcarona and Zard-X. I added Garchomp to remedy this, and also make it so I have some way to revenge kills faster mons like Pheromosa and Ash-Ninja. I had troubles with stall, so I added Taunt Tapu Lele, since it is very troubling for stall. Weaknesses of this team include Thunder Punch Megagross, Specs Lele, some variants of Magearna and Quiver Dance Mosa.

saw someone say maw+ash ninja was nice in the ou room one day so i thought ok let's give that a go. i used 4 attacks maw then passed the team to bludz who made it sd, preference i guess. threw on the standard knock spikes ferro (staple on teams w ash ninja that i make) to remove items from amoong, tang (big one), and opposing ferro whilst taking advantage of them by laying up spikes. max spdef because i don't trust rain teams or opposing greninja. keldeo is the best scarfer in the tier rn so i put that on the team to rkill every that the defensive core of ferro+lando can't handle, also provides a nice means with which to scout ninjas and a secondary dark resist as to not get swept by mawile. needed rocks+ground immune and some way of grabbing momentum to get in mawile vs the likes of fini and tang etc so the obligatory lando was next on the squad. hp ice to not lose to opposing zygarde and to weaken lando for mawile and the god in the 6th spot. ok so this slot is basically perfect, dd sitrus zygarde gave the team a wincon that has incredible synergy with the other offensive members whilst also providing neato defensive utility in a zardy and volcarona check. some iffy matchups include mega venu (spike the fuck up) and msciz (either fang it if ur aoa maw or pressure it into range of ninja/keld if sd), but they're nothin that can't be outplayed. the obvious metagross mosa and all that good shit remains broken vs this too. oh also mpins beats all teams that i build so it's whatever.
also fuck vertex shit isnt weak to av tang. putting MY team on blast in his vid without giving props to the original builder. u lay up hazards and the whole fuckin team pressures it.

yeah ok cool have fun.

Keld + Meta cause it's really good. spikes ferro is amazing, lando is lando. Ferro + Scarf keld handles Greninja and Ashgren very well. Zygarde adds extra CharY/Volc check + win con vs bulky team and stall. Zygarde + Gengar is rlly cool cause you can nuke grass types that bother Keldeo and Zygarde. Meta is BP cause Gengar gets trapped so phero gets a boost and wins. Pivot with Keld and Ferro vs Gren, pivot with Ferro + Lando vs Metagross. pick a sac vs mosa. Click x vs Azumarill the king
Got Dugtrio reqs with it and RMT'd it here although it's changed a bit. (a lot)

So, I decided to make a team around a fairy spam core being TR Magearna + Mega Mawile. I posted about this core before in the OU Good Cores forum here. Anyways, the way it works is that these two monsters wear down fairy resists until one wins under TR (since both benefit). I chose defensive Lando next since it gives me a ground immune + rocks. It can also get in Magearna/Mawile with a slow U-Turn. I next added Scarf Gengar, as it gives my team some speed. It also serves as a decent check to Pheromosa. Trick lets me screw over a defensive mon on stall/balance, like Chansey. Psychic or Destiny Bond can be used over this, so that you can either hit venusaur (which walls this team), or end a set up mon's potential sweep. The original version of this team had LO AoA Protea Greninja, as on that version I had a Toxapex to beat Pheromosa. I changed it because I wanted some speed + no one runs real ghost resists atm. Next I chose Zygarde. I originally had Toxapex here, but I needed a way to pressure Celesteela, while still checking Volc/Zard Y/Tran. I chose to use the Offensive Coil set that False. created (I think). Link to the explanation on the spread and such is here. This mon allows me to break down Celesteela and Ferrothorn for Magearna, and still checks Zard Y/Volc/Tran (as stated earlier). The last mon I put on was AV Tangrowth. This gives me a good answer to Tapu Koko and Ash Greninja, which heavily pressured or flat out beat the team so far. I chose Rock Slide over EQ because hitting Zard Y and Volc on the switch is just too nice to pass up on. Also, EQ is mainly for hitting Tran, which my team doesn't struggle with too much. It also doesn't really switch-in much due to the threat of EQ from prior experience. This team has trouble breaking bulky Grasses like Tang/M-Venu, but Magearna can muscle past Phys. Def versions and Mawile can break AV versions of the former, and Magearna + Zygarde can pressure the latter. Powerful wallbreakers like Alolawak, Specs Hoopa, and opposing M-Maw are hard to switch into, but this is the same for all teams tbh. EQ M-Pinsir can become an issue if Lando gets too overwhelmed. Gengar can be an issue, but non-scarf variants can be rkilled by my Gengar, while scarf variants has trouble breaking Magearna. Metagross is annoying. Keep gar around to rkill. Other than that, that's it for the team!

Have fun! :]

When MMawile was released I tried to make a trick room team with it, or rather I tried to slap it into my already existing tr team. That didn't work out. With Trick Room Magearna being a good mon by itself without the whole package I thought I'd add a TR MMawile too and keep building from there.

Next thing I wanted were spikes so I added Greninja because it would also give me a lot of momentum and it's just really good. I put hp fire and gunk shot on it and waited to see what my team would need for the last move.

Next thing I needed were stealth rocks and I felt like Lando-T was a no brainer for this one. The set is as standard as it gets. It can be changed to relaxed nature if the slow uturns are preferred over the fast hp ices.

Originally I had Assault Vest Torn-T on the next slot, and while it was a really good lead against pheromosa because you could get the kill with heat wave if they thought ice beam would kill or you could just safely u turn out, I was quite weak to Greninja, Keldeo and I just straight up got 6-0d by Mamoswine. With all that I decided to replace it with Mantine. It gave me a safe switchin to most Greninja sets, Keldeo, Pheromosa and Zard-Y, taking some pressure off Zygarde for that last one. It also gave me defog, and while I'm going to be setting up spikes too it can be quite nice.

For my last mon I wanted not to insta lose to stall so I went with a standard Sub Coil Zygarde. The set used is the one on the Smogon analysis. It also gave me another answer to Zard-Y and a way to kind of deal with Venusaur.

I decided on water shuriken as the last move for Greninja because the team was quite slow so I wanted a way to better deal with double dance Lando, Volcarona, scarf users, Koko and Pheromosa.

With double hazards, 2 ground move users, Gren and Mantine I didn't think heatran would be too much of a problem and that's why hp fire > focus blast on Magearna. It also helps to have a reliable way to 2HKO Mega Metagross withouth having to use the Z-Move.

Mawile is fire fang/thunder punch over SD because many times some damage is just enough for Magearna/Greninja to finish the job. The min speed and 0 speed ivs help a lot in the TR matchup and to sweep under TR overall. The extra bulk is also nice.

The team functions well in that both the Trick Room component and the Gren/Zygarde can sweep and help the other one sweep.

You want to look out for Mega Metagross, as you don't have anything that's a safe switching. You can pivot around it to scout it's moveset though. A big threat is Mega Venusaur. There's nothing to hit it hard. Hazards and Zygarde can eventually do the job though. Mamoswine still hurts a lot, as the only thing you have that it can't hit super effectively is 2HKO'd by icicle crash.

I know the team is quite similar to the one posted before but I'd say the spikes, hazard removal, and having mildly different sets on some of the mons justify the inclusion of this team too.

This time the choosen is Zygarde. Well, it gives a lot of play and l've thought of something more balanced and not so offensive. His best partner and mega is Scizor who gives me support against ice spam like Weavile or Mamoswine , in addition to fairy type. Rotom-W by the volturn core and are well covered. I needed something for bulky water and fire type. TornadusT I came up with this because I thought a great idea, you can eliminate Rotom-W / Tran & Ttar. Preserve Uturn. LandorusT Rocky Helmet is great option and SR user. Toxic is viable option for bulky pokemon. Finally, Shed Shell Hoopa Unbound for Dugtrio anti meta. Bye bye (?)

This scarf phero allows it to outspeed +2 Jolly Landorus-T. i decided to run dd zygarde because i wanted it sweep through teams and take on stuff on mega metagross , gengar , tapu leleby itself .
