Regirock @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave

Regirock OHKOs Archeops with Stone Edge and Regi takes Earthquakes from Archeops.

252 Atk Archeops Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 56+ Def Regirock: 112-132 (30.7 - 36.2%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Solrock because it's D rank bby

Solrock @ Colbur Berry
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 Def
Impish Nature
- Will-O-Wisp
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Morning Sun

Lol this is the best counter I swear. Able to switch in easily and Wisp, set up Stealth Rocks or even directly attack it with Stone Edge.
252 Atk Archeops Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Solrock: 76-90 (19.8 - 23.4%) -- possible 5HKO
Archeops Earthquake vs. Levitate Solrock: 0-0 (0 - 0%) -- aim for the horn next time

Reserving the mon I'm doing an analysis on (Palo)

Palossand @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Compaction
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Earth Power
- Shadow Ball
- Toxic
- Shore Up

Check

Thanks to Palo's nice bulk, it easily takes Acro and EQ for days at full power and spams Shadow Ball (with SpD drops)/Earth Power when it uses Roost to eventually beat down. It's just a check however because Taunt is annoying and taking constant Acros isn't fun. Also, Roost mindgames are annoying. And hey if you're stuck in the past, you can use Stone Edge to kill it

252 Atk Archeops Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Palossand: 129-153 (34.4 - 40.9%) -- 97.8% chance to 3HKO after Stealth Rock and

4 SpA Palossand Shadow Ball vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 123-145 (42.2 - 49.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0- Atk Palossand Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 4 Def Archeops: 146-172 (50.1 - 59.1%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

COUNTER

Eelektross @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Volt Switch
- Giga Drain
- Flamethrower
- Knock Off

Immune to EQ, takes 30% from Acro, OHKOs with Volt Switch.

Gastrodon @ Leftovers
Ability: Storm Drain
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Earth Power
- Recover
- Toxic

Gastrodon is a sufficient check to Archeops' that lack Hidden Power Grass. Gastrodon takes less than 50% from an Acrobatics, and Gastrodon's Scald does more than 75%, putting it within Defeatist range along with the chance for a burn, cutting its Attack stat in half possibly twice. Lastly, Gastrodon has reliable recovery, letting it check Archeops and the rest of the opponent's team throughout the entire match.

My first ever shiny Pokemon I caught was a Gastrodon-West in my copy of Pokemon Platinum. It is currently residing in my copy of Pokemon Heartgold.

So I'll be posting two mons.

Offensive Check

Floatzel @ Life Orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Hydro Pump / Surf / Scald
- Ice Beam
- Focus Blast
- Hidden Power Grass / Taunt

Floatzel's excellent Speed tier allows it to outspeed Archeops and revenge kill it with either Hydro Pump/STAB alternatives or Ice Beam.

252 SpA Life Orb Floatzel Hydro Pump vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 499-588 (171.4 - 202%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Floatzel Surf vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 408-484 (140.2 - 166.3%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Floatzel Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 361-429 (124 - 147.4%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 SpA Life Orb Floatzel Ice Beam vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 273-322 (93.8 - 110.6%) -- 62.5% chance to OHKO

Defensive Counter

Prinplup @ Eviolite
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Defog
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Toxic

Prinplup has good bulk and is able to tank Acrobatics from Hasty Archeops three times at full health. In return, Prinplup can deal considerable damage to Archeops with Scald, putting it in defeatist range and having a chance to burn it. Prinplup can also set rocks which further pressures Archeops.

252 Atk Archeops Acrobatics (110 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Prinplup: 117-138 (35.2 - 41.5%) -- guaranteed 3HKO
0 SpA Prinplup Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 206-246 (70.7 - 84.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Counter:

Carracosta_BW.gif

Carracosta @ Leftovers
Ability: Solid Rock
EVs: 252 HP / 192 Def / 64 SpD
Relaxed Nature
- Stealth Rock
- Scald
- Toxic
- Stone Edge / Protect / Aqua Jet

EQ is a 4HKO against Defensive Carracosta, whereas Carracosta can Stone Edge for the kill or an easy 2HKO (or OHKO with rocks) with Scald. If you are content with the Scald then the last option can be a Protect to ensure the 4HKO after rocks, or Aqua Jet for another 2HKO that can bypass Archeop's Speed and grab it before the Roost.

0 SpA Carracosta Scald vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Archeops: 210-248 (72.1 - 85.2%) -- 68.8% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock
252 Atk Archeops Earthquake vs. 252 HP / 192+ Def Solid Rock Carracosta: 106-126 (30.1 - 35.7%) -- guaranteed 4HKO after Leftovers recovery

Additionally the Shell Smash variant can also check Archeops. Aqua Jet is a 2HKO even without setup, and Stone Edge is definitely a KO, but Archeops actually does enough damage with EQ that Carracosta can use it to set up potentially...unless there's a Taunt.

252+ Atk Carracosta Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Archeops: 182-216 (62.5 - 74.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock
252+ Atk Carracosta Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Archeops: 450-530 (154.6 - 182.1%) -- guaranteed OHKO
252 Atk Archeops Earthquake vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Solid Rock Carracosta: 135-160 (46.7 - 55.3%) -- 73.4% chance to 2HKO

So yeah, this mon is a counter and a check I suppose.

RBTT Champion

Lycanroc @ Rockium Z
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Swords Dance
- Fire Fang/ Brick Break
- Accelerock

Lycanroc is a great offensive check to Archeops as it can natural outspeed Archeops and KO with Stone Edge or Accelrock. Stone Edge easily ohkos and Accelrock does around 60-70% if you dont want to risk missing. If you are feeling a bit spicy, you can even bring Lycanroc in on a predicted Acrobatics which does about 50-60%.

Sorry it's a bit late but voting is now over!

Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Stone Edge
- Accelerock

Check:

Primeape @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Defiant
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Close Combat
- Earthquake
- Gunk Shot
- U-turn

This one's simple enough. Scarf Primeape outspeeds Specs Pyroar and blows it back with one of either Close Combat or Earthquake. It should be noted that Primeape cannot really be brought in on any of Pyroar's STABs, so keep that in mind.

Check:

Lanturn @ Leftovers
Ability: Volt Absorb
EVs: 128 HP / 128 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Volt Switch
- Toxic
- Heal Bell

My first post so sorry if any mistakes:

We have a decent Check here in lanturn i'd say, being able to switch in tank both HP Grass and Hyper voice is Huge, specially because theres not that many pokemon that can do so. Lanturn gets 3HKO and is able to scare Pyroar with his Stab Scald + gets to chance to get momentum if played correctly with the use of volt switch. Is also important to mention that lanturn's Scald almost KOs Pyroar after Rocks. Calcs Below.

Obs: Im brazilian so sorry for my bad English D:

252 SpA Choice Specs Pyroar Hyper Voice vs. 128 HP / 252+ SpD Lanturn: 168-198 (39.7 - 46.8%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
252 SpA Choice Specs Pyroar Hidden Power Grass vs. 128 HP / 252+ SpD Lanturn: 148-176 (34.9 - 41.6%) -- 75.8% chance to 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
SpA Lanturn Scald vs. 0 HP / 4 SpD Pyroar: 192-228 (61.3 - 72.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock

Regirock @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 HP / 56 Def / 200 SpD
Impish Nature
- Stone Edge
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Thunder Wave

Might aswell post Regirock again lol. Regirock only has to fear HP Grass which is a 3HKO but OHKOs back with Stone Edge after a tiny bit of chip.

252 SpA Choice Specs Pyroar Hidden Power Grass vs. 252 HP / 200 SpD Regirock: 144-170 (39.5 - 46.7%) -- guaranteed 3HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Regirock Stone Edge vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Pyroar: 284-336 (90.7 - 107.3%) -- 43.8% chance to OHKO
