Round 8 Begin!

Chuck Norris has entered a state of slumber as ungulateman releases his next Pokemon, a Larvitar named Rockslide. Inventive names about as the field stirs, feeling an impending change.

Rockslide begins by summoning a Sandstorm, which begins whittling away what little health Chuck Norris has left. Chuck Norris dreams of roundhouse kicks and other such Chuck Norris jokes, unable to bring itself to awaken.

Rockslide smiles menacingily and begins to dance an ancient dance, increasing its Attack and Speed. As Rockslide begins to prepare its next action, Chuck Norris finally collapses from the storm. Rockslide feels slightly satisfied as it prepares for its next opponent. The sandstorm howls violently in anticipation.

Alright take the first Earthquake and Rock Polish. Then watch the ground carefully. Whenever you see a quake starting, jump with your increased agility over it and nail Larvitar with an Iron Head.

Round 9 Begin!

smashlloyd recalls his Machop and wishes it good luck, then releases his final Pokemon, Hardhead the Aron. The Sandstorm rages across the field and neither seems phased. They prepare for their next attacks.

Rockslide begins first with a shattering Earthquake. Despite the shifting sands, the arena is dense and rocky enough underneath to travel quite well. Hardhead braces itself for a hit, and while it does significant damage Hardhead continues, ready for battle. It begins to shine with a luster and greatly increases its speed.

Though Aron is moving at a decent pace, the Dragon Dance from last round works in Rockslide's favor as it launches another Earthquake It begins to feel a little stress from the additional pressure on its legs, but follows through. Hardhead is prepared this time, and uses the additional speed from Rock Polish to do a quick leap over the attack, evading it and smashing into Larvitar with Iron Head. The move strikes Rockslide much harder than normal, hitting one of its weak points. Though Aron still has some get-up and go, it's not moving quickly llike after its initial Rock Polish.

Rockslide again attempts to shake the ground beneath its feet with Earthquake, but suffers much more fatigue this time. Hardhead is not able to avoid this quake this time and endures another strike, but retaliates with another Iron Head. Hardhead now feels slightly strained as well, but both Pokemon are determined to see the match through.

The Sandstorm isn't letting up, but both pokemon ignore it and glare back at each other. This isn't over.
