This is the second part of the Pokedex Poll. You get one choice. The top three will go onto the final round, which will determine the two for the main games. All three winners from here will be used though.

Option #1:
REVENANKH is known to inhabit tombs or crypts to avoid light and train itself in peace. However, if anyone disturbs it, REVENANKH has been known to chase the intruders for anything from a week to decades. - Helios

Option #2:
It is said that Revenankh are the mummified spirits of a deceased Pharoah's guard-Pokemon. And as such, they will hunt down any threat to they're master/trainer, or his posessions. - Magmortified

Option #8:
Known in legends as the deathbringer, wherever REVENANKH goes, all vegetation rots away. An aura of fear always precedes its appearance. - Rhykune

Option #9:
"It is said that REVENANKH have to train regularly to keep their physical form. Should one ever slack off, it will be reduced to mere bandages. - King of Anime

Option #10:
Though normally solitary, REVENANKH gather on full moon nights in remote desert locations. Contests of strength often follow. - King of Anime

And we need sprites badly.
We have a total of one sprite, and that is the next poll after this. Not too good. In other words, anyone with spriting talent please post an attempt.

Air Lock
 While Pokémon with Air Lock are out, the effects of weather are temporarily disabled. Fire and Water moves are at normal power in sun and rain, Rocks have normal Special Defense in sandstorm, SolarBeam has 120 power and takes 2 turns, and Blizzard and Thunder have normal accuracy. Okay, a change in frame of reference is in order. My standard for judging Dex Entries was based on... the anime. *gulp* I would imagine Dexter giving this information and determine which one sounded most like something that would come from Dexter. Obviously, that's not really appropriate for this purpose.

Looking at actual Dex Entries, one thing comes to mind: they're CONCISE. All of the ones I saw (I took a quick look at about 10 of them.) were either one sentence or two short sentences.

Based on that, #1 is out. It looks like an anime Dex Entry, but we aren't looking for anime Dex Entries.

#2 is also out due to its length.

Something still seems too deep for me about #8. That one's out.

For me, it's down to #9 and #10, and #10 doesn't have enough flavor. Therefore, I go with #9.

This one is out in front, but I do think we should use a better term than "slack off" considering that it is an already-existing Pokemon move. Perhaps "slack off" could be replaced with "neglect his training," or something along those lines to avoid confusion. Or maybe we could change it to:

"It is said that REVENANKH have to train regularly to keep their physical form. Should one ever slack off, it will restore 50% of it's health."

Also, I am much more impressed with this Pokemon than I was with Scylant. Whereas Scylant was just given all the coolest things, the makers of Revenankh seem more interested in making him similar to a real Pokemon, rather than some super-cool fan-made Poke. I could really imagine this guy as being a Game Freak creation, which is something I could never do with Scylant. Good work!

The reason for this is that we didn't give it Slack Off. This entry is a pun on the fact that we decided that a mummy that will endlessly pursue someone wouldn't slack off, ergo "slacking off" would cause it to reduce to mere bandages.

Option 1 is by far the most metal, there for, according to the theory of relativity, the best choice.

Okay Dane, I understand now. I'm still not keen on it though. Should you really have to explain the private joke behind the Pokedexy entry?

The Egg moves imply that it is Humanshape/Indeterminate.

Should you really assume a common phrase such as "slack off" implies the Pokemon-move's effect? =P

The entry makes perfect sense on it's own, and has a hidden backup joke.

I had a tie between 2/9/10. I chose 10. Its more sophisticated. The other ones aren't bad, just worded badly, I guess.

Well, I won't lie. I actually was not thinking of the whole Slack Off debate when I wrote that entry. I only said slack off because I was tongue tied for better words. :&

I don't think using Slack Off really matters, and I doubt this would even be an issue if the question of giving it slack off hadn't been brought up so much. Besides, aren't moves mentioned in Dex entries in capital letters anyway? So really there should be no ground for confusion.

Okay... If no new sprites are posted by the time this poll closes, I'm going to the Super Spriting Thread and asking for them. I really don't want to do this, but we need options.

Also, I really hope something breaks out of the tie that is currently 2-5th.
