I figured Mummies in movies are always mad, so they should get Frustration.
I know, but Pokemon that have Frustration also tend to have Return, so...

As for WoW, there are enough reasons against it, and the only real reason for it is "All other Ghosts bu Froslass get it". Well, if Froslass would melt, he'll burn.
Not the only reason, but one of them. And I still don't get how Will o Wisp is going to topple Dusknoir. =P The main two arguments I've heard is that it'll be threatening Dusknoir, and that mummies with their bandages shouldn't be able to use Fire moves like WoW. Since Weezing and pals are using Flamethrower with impunity, we move back to the first reason.

And no, it mustn't be able to learn Earthquake... It has bandages hanging down... How does it quake... Plus, Earthquake is too commercialized.

I don't see why Insomnia isn't an option. That crazy son of a bitch doesn't look like the type to fall asleep. I'd vote Insomnia if I could, but I can't, so I'm not voting.

Why most we give it every move that would be good for it to have? Where is the "Why didn't they give it this move?" attitude going to be after we make this pokemon?

Baton pass breed with drifloon line and/or if human shape only Mr.mime Volbeat lopunny line medicham line and spinda

thats all i can think of for now

Air Lock is an exclusive ability, and makes absolutely no sense on a mummy. As much as I hate Sand, I don't think there's anything wrong with no second ability. Moonlight/EQ both seem like good moves. Even if the Pokemon we just made is top OU, we don't need to nerf this thing to the mediocrity of low-BL. Let's try high-Bl, low OU? Think Raikou.

This is the movepool i came up with:

Level up:
- Ice Punch
- Thunder Punch
- Fire Punch
- Tackle
- Sand Tomb (because of the Tomb bit)
- Knock Off
- Wrap
7 Fake Out
10 Confuse Ray
14 Feint
18 Pursuit
21 Grudge
24 Shadow Punch
27 Vital Throw
31 Mega Punch
35 Role Play (random move I don't see enough of)
38 Mimic
41 Sucker Punch
45 Grudge
48 Moonlight
52 Trick
57 Aura Sphere

Egg Moves (assuming Indeterminate egg group only):
Faint Attack (Spiritomb)
Nasty Plot (Spiritomb)
Destiny Bond (Gengar, Wobbuffet, Weezing)

Shadow Sneak (Dusknoir, Banette, Spiritomb)
Last Resort (Chimecho)
Perish Song (Misdreavus)
Hypnosis (Gengar, Gardevoir, Spiritomb)
Imprison (Gardevoir)
Counter (various things via move tutor)

TM moves:
01: Focus Punch
06: Toxic

79: Dark Pulse
80: Rock Slide
82: Sleep Talk
83: Natural Gift
85: Dream Eater
87: Swagger
90: Substitute

Why is nobody considering Dynamic Punch? Just look at his hands, they can really deliver a punch.

And on the subject of the elemental punches, it should only get Ice Punch (and not as a level up move please).

On the above list Power Whip is... debatable. The rest seem about right, although Dizzy Punch shouldn't be learnt at such a early age. Glare could be learnt earlier. Rest doesn't fit as a level up.

Power Whip could be used by the mummy easily. All he'd have to do is unravel and bandage and use it as a whip.

Level Up Moves:

Lvl 26 - Dizzy Punch
Lvl 31 - Morning Sun
Lvl 35 - Nightmare

Changes:
  • Moved Grudge to egg list. Replaced Grudge's level up slot with Morning Sun.
  • Switched level slots for Morning Sun and Mean Look so Rest and Morning Sun weren't next to each other.
  • Replaced Icy Wind with Ice Punch.
  • Added Ominous Wind to egg list.
  • Replaced Endure level up slot with Ancient Power.
  • Added TM79 Dark Pulse to TM list.
So far i think this the best move list.Ice punch and Power whip are questionable those are easy fixes

Why are we not putting the punches on there? Either give them all, or don't give any of them because if it can use Ice Punch, it can use Thunder/Fire also.

I like Hypnosis, I can see a SDef EV's one Sleep you and then use Bulk Up for Def and Atk. OOO fun!

Overall, I like a lot of these ideas, but Even having all the elemental punches, each player can probably only use 2 (restTalk) or 3 (if we give it moonlight). That means using all the punches would forgo the STAB ghost/Fight combo.......which I think balances it out pretty well. It would suffer from 5+ moveslot syndrome, which is a great way to balance pokes.

I'm really not seeing why you're all so against this thing getting Ice Punch, Icy Wind etc. It doesn't have a huge Atk or SAtk stat, and its going to be pumping its defenses, so it won't be able to invest too much in attack. This isn't some Curselax with king sized HP/SDef, so Bulk Up isn't much of an argument either. Look at Electivire. Even after all that attack investment, it gets nowhere near OHKOing stuff because its attacks aren't powerful enough. And just why do you want so many counters to it Hyra? It gets walled like shit by Tangrowth as long as it doesn't have Icy Wind with a LOT of investment(IMO it should get Icy Wind, its 55 BP FFS and slowing stuff down would help it support the team, which it isn't really doing to any great extent). The way this is going, this thing would never see any use at all after the initial interest. BTW, @Dane, Fighting type is only weak to Psychic and Flying, so this thing has more Weaknesses than Machamp, however, it does have immunities.

I agree with the anti WoW argument though, its bandaged dammit. I'd really like to see Power Whip on this, it fits well and it'll help it hurt stuff. Not too much stuff, just enough. You're really overrating this thing, all of you. It'll be forced out more often than not because of its mediocre speed, it won't kill things because of its so-so attack(just ask Aerodactyl), it won't take hits well enough if you choose to do some damage. I'm not saying we need to give this a hyper offensive movepool or anything(just Grass Knot and Power Whip, they kind of make sense coming from a bandaged Pokemon, especially Power Whip), just that it should at the very least get a good support movepool to actually see some use. And I agree that Close Combat has no place on this thing.

Why are we not putting the punches on there? Either give them all, or don't give any of them because if it can use Ice Punch, it can use Thunder/Fire also.
Wrong. Cacturne only had Thunder Punch in AG. I believe Feraligatr still only gets Ice Punch.

Personally I don't think it should get any of them, but Ice Punch would make the most sense since this an undead creature we are talking about. It won't generate any heat.

This thing needs Toxic to be on its TM list...if Magnezone can use it...anything should be able to.

I also think its recovery options should be fairly limited. We keep stating it isn't a better Dusknoir, but giving it attacks like Moonlight and Morning Sun would be too much IMO. Rest is fine since pretty much anything (but Regigigas) can have it. I say give it Drain Punch and call it a day.

Also, why are we giving this Nightmare if we're not giving it any access to Sleep inducing moves?

I still think that Earth Power should be considered an option on this thing, just so that it at least has something that makes manipulate the ground in some way that isn't extremely powerful.

Another attack that would be somewhat interesting on it is Hyper Voice. Why? Just the idea of a screaming mummy lunging at a person seems freaky.

Also, I do agree that if we're going to give it Nightmare, it needs a sleep move; I still propose Sing instead of Hypnosis, just because this thing should not be competing with other pokes using Hypnosis, and it can afford to miss once or twice, given how bulky it is compared to Gengar.

I would just like to point out, AGAIN, that we don't need to be giving this every good useable move possible. Most Pokes have less then 10 egg moves, and most of them aren't useable, For Example:

Gible:
Body Slam
Double-Edge
DragonBreath
Iron Head
Metal Claw
Outrage
Sand Tomb
Scary Face
Thrash
Twister

Are all of those useable?
