not sure if this has already been said elsewhere (on IRC), but http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3343329&postcount=93http://this post deserves a piece of :toast:. even though he obviously and understandably really wants to play in SPL, he dropped out in order to give the tournament more credibility and integrity. this decision really shows that he cares about the tournament, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit above all. whenever he makes a decision that is unpopular among certain teams -- or even most teams -- we should keep in mind that he is making an honest effort; as a result of that, those situations are best solved by collaborative engagement rather than endless bitching (although I must admit that is fun to do). the guy should get a lot more credit and a lot less hating!

GL scooters............. grudge match.........

I agree; it was a pretty legit thing to do for the sake of the tournament and shows where his priorities are. Good work, LN.
