Smogon Superstars II Playoffs Round 1- The Super 16

Smogon Superstars II

Super 16: All 16 players are divided into 4 groups of 4 players each. Players will play all Opposing players of a group once, i.e. If you're in group A you will face all members of Group D, if it's Group A vs. Group D. So, if you're in Group B, you face all members of Group C, and vice versa. Two players from each group will advance to the quarterfinals based off W/L records of this round. This round will remain OU, and will last for two weeks.

also i thought you said I wouldnt play someone I played in Round 1, if so why did i get bluewind.

Yes only group C is played if you're in group B, and Idk it's how it ended up. I can't change that now. It's how the seeding ended up. Also, iirc, I believe I said you wouldn't face your advancing partner in your group for the quarters, but that was in original blueprint for this event.

Earthworm (0-0) EW is one of the best for a reason. 7-0 is probably not a fluke.


Flamewheeler (0-0) I have never seen Flamewheeler play, and I don't really know much about him. Maybe he'll suprise me/us?


6A9 Ace_Matador (0-0) AM is good, but I would be concerned by the fact that he's not nearly as active and plays as often.


Eternal (0-0) Eternal is pretty underrated IMO, and didn't perform as well as I thought he would last round. I'd look for him to do better this round.




Group B


Reyscarface (0-0) As long as rey doesn't get haxed, he can't lose. Just ask him


Scofield (0-0) Scofield has a solid team from what I saw.


Delta2777 (0-0) Delta could easily give both Scof and Rey a run for their money. I had to pick one of you three to not bold. Delta drew the short straw lol


G80 (0-0) Idk enough about G80 to make a good decision about his skill level. I just don't know enough to put him ahead of rey, scof, or delta, although I could easily be proved wrong.




Group C


Scimjara (0-0) Imo, he's underrated and solid.


Taylor (0-0) One of the hardest players to prepare for from what ive heard and seen.


_Flygon_ (0-0) another underrated player, but I don't know anything about him really.


Bluewind (0-0) I only know of his UU strength.



Group D

Stone Cold (0-0) Got the boss team. Will win the group, and tournament if I had to make a bet now.


Megan Fox (0-0) Strong, and could easily do well.


Bad Ass (0-0) Group A representing. Bad Ass has a really solid team, that's hard to beat. I would know.


Lady Bug (0-0) Honestly a toss up between Bad Ass and Lady Bug for 2nd imo. I haven't seen what Lady Bug is using, so I just feel more comfortable with betting on Bad Ass

Earthworm (0-0) - Can't go wrong with this guy.

Flamewheeler (0-0) - Good player from what I've seen, but can't really say with the other two big names in the group. He'll put up a helluva fight I bet.

6A9 Ace_Matador (0-0) - Might just get through, but I feel safer going with the next guy.

Eternal (0-0) - To be honest, I'd be surprised if he didn't make it.



Group B

Reyscarface (0-0) - Cool guy, just don't hax him.

Scofield (0-0) - Probably the safe option, haven't seen him play much though.

Delta2777 (0-0) - Boy has it in him to go all the way.

G80 (0-0) - Again, haven't seen him play much but I don't doubt he's good.




Group C

Scimjara (0-0) - Sexy win record in the preliminaries, but just might not make it.

Taylor (0-0) - Solid solid solid.

_Flygon_ (0-0) - Very good from when I've battled him, could easily upset some top players.

Bluewind (0-0) - Top dog in UU, but IMO he has the stuff to get past this round.

Stone Cold (0-0) - In amazing form, don't stop him now.

Megan Fox (0-0) - Got a hard group, but a good player.

Bad Ass (0-0)- Simply put, he's bad ass.

Lady Bug (0-0) - Tough choice to put this guy down, it's basically just a toss-up between him and Bad Ass.
