Hello all, welcome to this years edition of Smogon Supestars. All participants in this tournament are handpicked and invited to play.

Generally I'm fine with people playing a few days after a round goes up, but the deadline is going to be two weeks, this round ending on August 28th at 11:59 EDT (GMT -4). Please avoid playing after the round because there are two whole weeks to play, but I'm not going to deny it if you're playing.
The top 16 will qualify for playoffs and it'll be determined by most wins.
The following two rounds after this you will be playing the two tiers you're not playing this round; everyone is going to play a round of DPP, BW2, and ORAS. Which tier you play next week is undetermined yet.
Also please save your replays / play on SmogTours. Obviously this isn't a rule I will enforce but part of this tournament is enjoying the games going on; watching games is just as fun as participating for some of us
