Smogon Tour 13

Pokemon players, get your teams in gear for another season of the tournament we can't get enough of. Smogon Tour will be returning with its first week on:

You may be wondering why this announcement has been posted prematurely. That's because there is a surprise! Preluding the regular season of Smogon Tour, there will be several weeks of what were called Practice Tours. They won't count towards the season standings, but they will be listed in the Tournament Listings thread and be a good means for testing out new things. I can also envision suspect testing being done through this in the future. Each week, I will post in this thread announcing the upcoming week's metagame. The schedule for this will be updated right here.

The format for Season 13 will remain the same as it has the past couple seasons. That means the metagames in this season's competition will be ADV OU, DPP OU, and BW OU. There will be the standard 9 weeks of regular season tours followed by a tournament between the Top 16 players in the standings. There is plenty of time to prepare yourself for the format and if you're looking to get into the Smogon Tour, I encourage you to get your feet wet with the Practice Tours.
