Congratulations to all of the Season 11 finalists of the Smogon Tour! With this being the first Tour to include BW, it was very interesting to see what the top 16 would end up looking lke. This season we actually came to a four-way tie for 16th, so before the finals can "officially" start, we are going to have those four individuals battle it out in a Bo3 series (1 BW OU, 1 DPP OU, 1 ADV OU) to determine who gets that final slot for a chance to compete over one of the most sought-out trophies Smogon has to offer.
Before we get to all of that, though, I wanted to take this time to thank all of this season's Tour hosts -- without you guys, a tournament this massive simply could not happen. I especially wanted to thank Setsuna and symphonyx64, who each hosted three times this season! I'm not sure how much people realize this, but it takes a lot of time, patience, and responsibility to host a single Smogon Tour, let alone three. With that being said, I also wanted to give an extra special thanks to Bloo and Iconic, who also both hosted 3+ times each, but on top of that calculated all the Tour points this season... I know from experience how time consuming it is to do all of that, and although I'm sure hardly anybody will ever truly appreciate how much you guys put into ensuring this season was so successful, I wanted to personally extend my gratitude to you both. Maybe next season, one of you will surpass my 12 host + Tour points that I pulled last season ;).
If you see any of these guys around, it would be nice if you could just take a moment to thank them for their hard work.
