The only thing that keeps Sandstream and Spikes from being broken is that typically, you're playing on a Full Advance field.
What you've essentially done is created an environment remarkably similar to GSC, minus all strong direct attacks with the inclusion of stackable Spikes, eternal Sandstream, and no Leftovers or 50% HP recovery moves. You've effectively nerfed Electric types by taking away Thunderbolt (Thunder only gets 50% accuracy in Sand) and Hidden Power, Psychics lose to Tyranitar who's always using Crunch, and Waters never were good at offensive onslaught. No Choice Band and no movepool options for those who usually use it.
That being said, this is a playing field I that I love, or at least love to be critical of.
