[STABmons] Keldeo [QC: 3/3] [GP: 2/2]

After implementing my changes, control f through and capitalize all instances of 'Pokemon'. Delete all apostrophes in "it's" and "let's". I don't believe you ever use "it's" in the concat form. I stopped correcting these three mistakes halfway through.

There are times to use those concats, but those times are never stumbled upon.

[OVERVIEW]

Keldeo is an outstanding offensive pokemon in STABmons, acting as one of the best revenge killers and wallbreakers in the metagame. A reason for this is that Water / Fighting typing is an amazing STAB combo, which let's [No apostrophe, but I prefer 'which gives Keldeo great...' over 'lets Keldeo have' since currently the sentence is passive for no reason. Additionally consider removing 'A reason for this is that', seems a bit unnecessary] Keldeo have great neutral coverage. This [bad habit to reference a complete sentence with 'this'. Consider 'Combined with its high Special Attack, Keldeo becomes a very credible offensive threat.' The 'Combined' references previous sentence, as I removed the echo of threatening threat] combined with its high special attack stat allows it to be a very threatening offensive threat. It also has access to powerful moves in [such as, not in] Water Spout, Origin Pulse and Secret Sword. Making it able to [sentence fragment, also awkward phrasing. Recommend 'It is able to 2HKO most of the metagame with powerful moves, such as Water Spout...'] 2HKO most of the metagame. Scald is another great tool is has in its disposal [typo, but I prefer 'Scald brings great utility to the table, inflicting burns...' Shorter, sweeter, sexier.] to inflict burns on physical attackers that can [no need for can, since the the object here is threatening physical attackers, not physical attackers in general] threaten to KO Keldeo, and it can also [with previous change (and even without), change this to ', wearing down walls rather quickly.' Parallels 'inflicting'] wear down walls rather quickly. Keldeo also possesses rather decent bulk with a good defensive typing that lets it check threatening pokemon [capitalize] such as Bisharp, Tyranitar, Heatran and Weavile, giving nice defensive utility on offensive teams. Keldeo is also very versatile when it comes to its movesets, as it can act as an amazing ['amazing', and 'great' later are bland adjectives. Consider replacing/removing.] revenge killer with a Choice Scarf, a powerful wallbreaker with a Choice Specs and a great sweeper with Calm Mind, allowing it to be quite unpredictable.

But, although Keldeo's Speed is great, it still get's [Doubled transition, no apostrophe. Replace with 'Although Keldeo has a high Speed stat, it is still outsped and easily revenge killed by...' With this change, delete following sentence fragment] outspeed by faster threats such as Latios, Thundurus and Serperior. Leaving it easily be revenge killed. It also does not really have great coverage outside of it's [possessive, not concat. No apostrophe] STABs, making it more prone to be checked by a greater array of pokemon. [Capitalize pokemon, an array is wide, not great. There are few descriptions in the world that is enhanced by 'great'. Replace.] Keldeo remains to be [transition, 'to be' is extraneous. Replace with 'Despite these flaws, Keldeo remains an...'] an excellent [delete excellent] offensive powerhouse that can wear down the opposing team with its powerful moves and great offensive stats, making it a threat that should always be prepared for.

Water Spout is a devastatingly strong STAB move that allows Keldeo to break down many teams, especially in conjunction with a

Origin Pulse is another powerful STAB move of choice, ['of choice' doesn't mean anything here, it should only be used when describing an object that is a clear favorite (so almost never in the same sentence as 'another') Delete] as it let's [no apos] Keldeo 2HKO most threats with ease without needing to worry about its HP stat. [whose HP stat, Keldeo's or the opponent? Why does HP come into this? If it's just to stress how powerful the move is, I think 'with ease' already covers it and everything after it in the sentence can be deleted] Secret Sword is it's [no apos] secondary STAB move that let's [no apos] it hit specially defensive walls such as Chansey and Ferrothorn [is ferrothorn exclusively specially defensive now?] for more damage. Scald is Keldeo's secondary reliable Water-type STAB move of choice, [again, delete 'of choice', delete 'reliable'] letting it able to secure the KO on weakened pokemon [capitalize] without dealing with the chances of missing. It is also useful to cripple physical attackers with it's [no apos, 'useful to cripple' is awkward and is better replaced by 'It is also able to cripple', usefulness is implied] high chance of inflicting burns. Vacuum Wave is a great STAB priority option, that allows Keldeo to hit faster threats such as Excadrill in sand, Choice Scarf Magnezone, and helps Keldeo against speed ties with Terrakion. Finally, Icy Wind is a nice coverage option that let's [no apos] Keldeo hit grass types [Grass-types] such as Serperior and Dragon types [hyphen. Not sure that your example for Dragon type here should also be weak to your next suggested alternative, Bug] like Latios. Hidden Power Bug can be used to hit Psychic types [hyphenated also here.] like Celebi and Starmie.

Set Details
========

Choice Specs boosts Keldeo's damage output to incredible levels, making it able to 2HKO most of metagame with little effort.
[What's a 2HKO with effort? delete last three words] Life Orb can also be run to allow Keldeo to switch moves, but the damage output is quite noticeable compared to Choice Specs and the recoil can wear it down quickly. However, Water Spout should never be used alongside Life Orb. [Since previous sentence had a transition in it (but) that advocates not using Life Orb, 'however' is wrong. Recommend 'Additionally'] The Evs [EVs] are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed, [no comma] to increase Keldeo's offensive capabilities to their highest degree. [increase to their [sic] highest degree is synonymous with maximize, and that's why we have the word. 'to maximize Keldeo's offensive capabilities'] The Timid nature was also chosen to let Keldeo outspeed threats such as Mega Charizard X, and Kyreum-B, allowing it to remain a threat to offensive teams.

Usage Tips
========

This Keldeo set is great to be used as a solid
[Replace sentence with 'This Keldeo set is a reliable wallbreaker, dismantling many powerful cores thanks to its powerful moves and high Special Attack.' 'great to be used as a solid' is wordy without saying anything, its should not be apostrophized (?), powerful is misspelled] wallbreaker, letting it dismantle many defensive cores thanks to it's poweful moves and high Special Attack. Keldeo can switch into occasional [What does this word mean? Delete] resisted hits with ease due to it's [no apostrophe] moderate bulk, but it should never be switch ['be switched', or 'switch' Choose one] in on any moves if it chooses to run Water Spout. This set is best utilized throughout the end of the match, as it can sweep through weakened teams once it's [no apos] checks and counters are gone. However, it can be used earlier on to break through defensive walls, allowing your other team members to sweep more easily. But, [I generally don't like two sentences that start with the same transition, and this one is useless. Just 'Try to eliminate' is fine] try to eliminate faster threats such as Thundurus and Serperior that could potentially harm this set before trying to sweep with Keldeo.

Team Options
========

Latios is a near perfect partner for Keldeo, as it can deal with its
[These pronouns are both technically ambiguous and grammatically incorrect, but I think you can get away with it.] checks and counters such as Mega Venausaur, Slowbro, and Latias. Keldeo also deals with Pursuit which can otherwise trap Latios, while Latios can remove hazards and heal Keldeo with Healing Wish in return, letting it able [', allowing it to spam...'] to spam Water Spout more often. Bulky Grass and Water types such as Mega Venausaur and Gyarados can wall Keldeo extremely well. This is why it is recommended to run pokemon [capitalize] that can beat Grass-types and Water-types alongside Keldeo. ['alongside Keldeo, such as Kyurem-B....'] Examples being Kyureum-B, Thundurus and Mega Charizard-Y. Tornadus-T is another great partner for Keldeo, as its Flying typing in conjunction with its amazing ability to pivot greatly helps Keldeo fend of against Grass-type pokemon such as Mega Venasaur and Celebi. Pursuit trappers such as Weavile and Tyranitar also work well with Keldeo, as they can trap Psychic types such as Latios, Celebi and Slowbro that can all take one hit from Keldeo and can potentially KO it. Heatran is another great pokemon [capitalize] that works well with Keldeo, as they both deal with each others checks and counters such as Latias, Talonflame, and Mega Venasaur quite well. Its typing provides amazing resistances such as Grass, Flying and Psychic that all can potentially harm Keldeo. This set can usually be run on more offensively orientated teams, due to it having the capability of breaking down many defensive cores, which many offensive teams have a difficult time to break through.

Moves
========

Water Spout is a powerful move that is able to almost 2HKO the entire tier at its highest damage output, and is a very good move to revenge kill weakened threats with a Choice Scarf. Secret Sword is it's [no apos] main Fighting STAB move of choice, being able to hit Specially Defensive walls like Chansey and Tyranitar much harder. Origin Pulse is it's [no apos] second Water STAB move if Keldeo is weakened and can no longer abuse powerful Water Spouts no more. Scald is a ['is another' is sufficient] another Water-type STAB move that Keldeo can run to inflict burns, which can help [help is unnecessary] weaken walls and cripple physical attackers. Icy Wind is a decent coverage option that allows Keldeo to hit Grass-type and Dragon-type pokemon super effectively such as Serperior and Dragonite respectively, and is a nice tool to lower your opponent's speed [Speed, no need for stat] stat as well. Hidden Power Electric is another coverage option that lets Keldeo hit Water-type pokemon [capitalize] such as Gyrados, Slowbro, Starmie, and Azumaill. Finally, Hidden Power Bug is a nice lure option that is not seen quite often and allows Keldeo to hit bulky Psychic-types such as Slowbro, Mega Slowbro, Latias and Celebi super effectively.

Set Details
========

Choice Scarf enables Keldeo to outspeed faster pokemon that would otherwise threaten to KO it, and be able to revenge kill them more easily. Examples being Alakazam, Serperior and Mega Diancie. The Evs [EVs] are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to strengthen Keldeo's offensive capabilities, while the Timid nature was [is, tense with 'are'] chosen to let Keldeo [let Keldeo is extraneous, delete] outspeed as most [many] threats as possible.

Usage Tips
========

Keldeo can act as a perfect revenge killer for any offensive team, as it's [no apos here or five words later] high powered moves combined with it's great Special Attack lets it tear through other offensive teams with ease. Try not to bring Keldeo in on any attacks, as it would weaken the strength of Water Spout tremendously. Also be weary of priority moves from pokemon [capitalize] such as Ursaring and Talonflame, who can weaken Keldeo's Water Spout before it can even attack. Keldeo should also try to avoid status all together as it can weaken it down incredibly such as paralysis lowering its speed and toxic weakening down the power of Water Spout, ['Keldeo is susceptible to status moves, as paralysis cripples its speed and toxic weakens the power of Water Spout.' replaces this entire sentence. Effectiveness lowering is given] lowering the overall effectiveness of this set tremendously. This set is recommended to be used more late game, as Keldeo would be able to sweep teams after it's [no apos] checks and counters are weakened down. Although Scald can be used to weaken down walls such as Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Rotom-Wash early game, allowing other teammates to have an easier time sweeping afterwards.

Team Options
========

Latios synergies really well with Keldeo, as it can remove hazards and heal Keldeo up
[delete up] with Healing Wish, making it able [, allowing it to wallbreak] to wallbreak more often with Water Spout. They also both deal with each others checks and counters quite profoundly, [both/each other is a little awkward, profoundly is incredibly so. 'They can deal with each others checks and counters,' replaces this clause] as Keldeo can deal with Dark-type pokemon [Please see comment at start of post.] while Latios deals with Psychic and Grass-type pokemon. Tornadus-T is another great example of a great partner for Keldeo, as its Flying typing combined with the ability to safely pivot with U-Turn and Regenerator truly helps Keldeo deal with threats such as Mega Venasaur and Starmie. This Keldeo set should be used on more offensive teams, as it can act as a useful check to most of the pokemon who can threaten [add opposing here, for clarity] offensive teams such as Terrakion and Gengar. Although it could be run on balanced teams needing a check to other offensive teams. [comma] Keldeo prefers to be paired with pokemon that can deal with Grass and Dragon types who can wall it depending on what it runs. This is why pokemon such as [Delete everything in sentence prior to this. You can replace with 'For instance,' if you so choose, but I think it's unnecessary] Landorus-T and Kyreum-B are nice options due to their amazing offensive typing that has great synergy with Keldeo's. Psychic types are also a pain for Keldeo to deal with, so running Dark type pokemon with Pursuit such as Tyranitar and Weavile are highly recommended, as they let Keldeo have an easier time wallbreaking. Grass types like Serperior and Ferrothorn greatly pair with Keldeo as well, as they can deal with bulky Water types such as Slowbro and Azumarill. Hazard removal is also useful, as they can weaken Keldeo quite quickly, which can decreases [decrease] it's offensive capabilities as it often switches out quite often. Healing Wish support can also be very essential from pokemon such as Latias, Latios, and Jirachi, as it recovers Keldeo's HP allowing Water Spout to deal more damage.

Substitute works great with Calm Mind, as it secures Keldeo from attacks that have the potential to KO it, and let's it setup much easier. It also blocks it from [delete 'it from', delete last clause of sentence, add 'criplling' in front of 'status moves'] status moves such as paralysis and toxic, that can cripple it harshly. It is also [a] nice tool to block the ever so [delete 'ever so'] popular Fake Out + Extreme Speed combination, and also block [blocks or 'to block'] Chansey from using Transform. Calm Mind is there to boost Keldeo's wallbreaking capabilities to terrifying levels. It also allows Keldeo to be surprisingly bulky on the specially defensive side, letting it be able to survive powerful attacks from strong pokemon after a couple of boosts. Scald is it's main Water-type STAB move of choice, ['of choice' overlaps with 'main'. Delete one] as it possesses a high chance to burn the target, which works well in conjunction with the Sp.Def [no period] boosts from Calm Mind. Secret Sword is the fighting STAB move, letting Keldeo hit specially defensive walls and it is nice to abuse when facing other Calm Mind users, due to it targeting their defense stat. ['...hit specially defensive walls and opposing Calm Mind users.' Last clause is obvious, 'nice to abuse' is useless]

Set Details
========

Leftovers is the best item to be used on this set, as it can passively recover health that was used to create the substitutes. It also increases Keldeo's longevity as well. However, a Salac Berry can also be used to boost Keldeo's speed that in conjunction with Calm Mind boosts, can be extremely devastating. Although it allows Keldeo to be easily revenged killed by priority users such as Talonflame and Mega Lopunny. The Evs [EVs] are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to maximize Keldeo's sweeping capabilities, and Timid as [is, not as] the chosen nature to outspeed as most pokemon as possible, such as Kyreum-B and Mega Charizard X.

Usage Tips
========

Keldeo should only start setting up once it's checks and counters are gone or are extremely weakened, due to it not running any coverage moves. [Restructure to 'Without any coverage moves, Keldeo can only set up once its checks and counters are gone or crippled.'] This is why it is advised to start sweeping late game. [You just said this. Delete sentence] Keldeo can also be threatened by sound-based moves such as Boomburst Sylveon and Hyper Voice Mega Gardevoir that can break past Substitutes and KO Keldeo. Don't stay in on these pokemon because of this. [Delete this sentence as well, obvious] Try to not let Keldeo be weakened too much, as it needs quite a bit of HP to create Substitutes and to setup Calm Minds. This set can usually force pokemon out thanks to its threatening offensive presence, due to its ability to cripple many physical attackers by inflicting burns on them with Scald. ['This set can force many physical attackers out with the threat of Scald.' replaces this sentence] It is also not threatened by passive pokemon such as Chansey, Mega Sableye and Klefki. All these reasons combined allow Keldeo to easily set up a Substitute and commence sweeping. Keldeo should also not try to start setting up if the opposing team has a phazer or a priority user that can end Keldeo's sweep quite abruptly.

Team Options
========

Latios is a great addition in conjunction with this set, as it checks many pokemon that would otherwise wall Keldeo such as Mega Venasaur, Celebi, Latias, and Slowbro, It can also remove hazards off the field, [How else do you remove hazards? Delete 'off the field' (or change to 'keep off the field'), change the comma to a period.] which gives ['giving' over 'which gives'] Keldeo an easier time to sweep later on during the match. Flying-type pokemon such as Thundurus and Landorus-T are also great partners with Keldeo, as they can deal with Grass types [hyphen] like Mega Venasaur and Celebi that can otherwise completely wall it. Dark-type pokemon such as Tyranitar and Weavile are also good teammates that can Pursuit trap bulky Psychic types that can wall Keldeo like Latios and Slowbro. Hoopa-U is another Dark-type pokemon that can break through bulky pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Meloetta more easily. Assault Vest Metagross is also another great Pursuit user, as its great bulk [delete 'great'] allows it to Pursuit trap key threats such as Latios and Latias, while it is also able to deal with other threats such as Mega Diancie and Mega Venausaur. Fairy-type pokemon such as Clefable and Klefki are also very useful as well, as they can deal with Dragon types like Dragonite and Latias, which can both take Keldeo's STAB moves and threaten to KO it. A physical Thundurus set is another great team option that can break through bulky Water-types such as Gyrados, Mega Blastoise and Azumarill quite easily, remedying Keldeo's lack of coverage on this set. This set can be used on more balanced teams, as it is one of the best stallbreakers in the metagame. Although, [However here over 'Although'] it could be run on bulky offensive teams as well. Hazard setters that can set up Stealth Rocks [Why specify Stealth Rocks? Just 'Hazard setters such as Heatran' is fine] such as Heatran and Ferrothorn are recommended, as it can weaken down some checks and counters of Keldeo, and makes it sweep more easily and efficiently. Toxic Spikes setters in Gengar and Scolipede can ['setters such as Gengar and Scolipede are especially valued for their ability to wear down bulky...and Porygon 2, as Keldeo tends to stall behind Substitutes.'] specifically wear down bulky pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Porygon 2 due to Keldeo stalling turns while behind a Substitute.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Calm Mind set with three attacks is quite viable, as it gives Keldeo an extra slot for a coverage option such as Icy Wind and Hidden Power Bug, which allows it to break past some threats such as Celebi and Latios which it wouldn't initially, and Vacuum Wave which lets it out-prioritize faster threats such as Sand Rush Excadrill and Choice Scarf Magnezone and lets Keldeo become more threatening to offensive teams. [What a sentence. 'A Calm Mind set with three attacks gives Keldeo an extra coverage move such as Icy Wind or Hidden Power Bug to power through Pokemon that would otherwise be counters, such as Celebi or Latios. Vacuum Wave also goes well in the third attack slot, out-prioritizing faster threats such as Sand Ruch Excadrill and Choice Scarf Magnezone.'] However, it [Keldeo over the pronoun] can easily be revenged killed due to the absence of Substitute. Taunt is another great move to shut down bulky walls who rely on status moves to wear down the opposing pokemon, and increases Keldeo's wallbreaking capabilities, however Keldeo does have a bit of 4MSS and running Taunt really worsens this problem. [, but running Taunt amplifies Keldeo's 4MSS (is this an accepted abbreviation?)] Keldeo can also run an effective Substitute set with Leftovers, and can forego Calm Mind for a coverage move such as Icy Wind and Hidden Power Bug to better deal with it's checks and counters. However, Keldeo does miss out on a lot of KOs without a Life Orb, Calm Mind boosts or Choice Specs equipped. [can't equip a boost, so 'without Life Orb, Choice Specs, or Calm Mind boosts'] A RestTalk set in conjunction with two STAB moves allows Keldeo to have great longevity throughout the entire match due to Rest, and still remain to be threatening while sleeping thanks to Sleep Talk. This set can greatly check [Choose between check and counter, greatly check doesn't mean anything] many Dark-type pokemon such as Weavile and Tyranitar, and allows Keldeo to break through stall pokemon that rely on Toxic damage to wear down opposing pokemon. However, this set is generally lacking power due to it having to resort to Leftovers instead of Life Orb and Choice Specs, ['However, this set lacks power due to its reliance on Leftovers over an offensive item, which hampers...'] which greatly hamper its wallbreaking capabilities. Keldeo can also run an Expert Belt, Splash Plate, and [or over 'and', although is Splash/Fist Plate really notable enough options to mention here?] Fist Plate to forego Life Orb recoil and Choice Specs restrictions, and is a great item to bluff what exact set it is running. Although due to it's limited coverage, it may not be utilized to it's fullest capability. [What has limited coverage? This sentence is confusing.] Aura Sphere and Focus Blast are other STAB Fighting options that Keldeo can run that has a higher damage output than Secret Sword, however these moves are generally never seen as Secret Sword has the amazing ability to hit the target's Defense stat instead of Special Defense. Focus Blast is particularly unreliable due to it's low accuracy.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Psychic-Types**: Bulky Psychic types such as Mega Slowbro, Latias and Celebi are all able to take any STAB move from Keldeo, and threaten to KO it
[add 'in return']. This can be mitigated however if Keldeo decides to run Hidden Power Bug, but it still does not guarantee even a 2HKO on some of them. Pursuit trappers can also help with this issue, as they can usually weaken these pokemon immensely before Keldeo confronts them again.

**Water-Types**: Water type pokemon such as Azumarill, Mega Blastoise, Manaphy, and Gyarados can easily come in on any Water type attack, and be able to threaten Keldeo with their repective
[respctive] coverage options. Running Hidden Power Electric can relive this issue minimally, but running Grass-type pokemon such as Serperior and Celebi is usually the best way to counter these pokemon

**Fairy-Types**: Fairy-type pokemon such as Togekiss, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, and Sylveon can all take
['resist' over 'can all take'] Fighting-type moves and can threaten to KO Keldeo with their STAB attacks. Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir in particular can both deal with Calm Mind Keldeo due to them being able to abuse sound-base attacks that bypass Substitute. Steel-type pokemon such as Scizor and Ferrothorn are both great options to deal with the aforementioned threats.

**Flying-Types**: Pokemon such as Tornadus-T and Dragonite are both bulky enough to survive both of Keldeo's STAB options and can threaten to KO it with their respective Flying-type move. However, they need to be weary
[wary] if Keldeo decides to run Icy Wind, which can lower their Speed and allows Keldeo to be able to KO them.

**Grass-Types**: Grass-types such as Mega Venasuar and Serperior can both deal with Keldeo quite prominently, due to them resisting Water-type attacks and Mega Venasaur resisting Fighting-type attacks as well. Flying-type pokemon like Thundurus and Landorus-Therian are both great teammates that threaten Grass-types in general.

**Fast Electric-Types**: Fast Electric-types such as Thundurus, Raikou, and Mega Manectric can all threaten to KO Keldeo if it lacks Vacuum Wave. Thundurus is especially threaten it as it resists Fighting-type moves and it can threataen [threatens over 'it can threaten'] Choice Scarf variants with priority Thunder Wave.

**Priority Users**: Keldeo especially does not appreciate priority users such as Talonflame, Mega Loppuny and Ursaring, as they can severely weaken Keldeo, decreasing the power of it's Water Spout.

[OVERVIEW]
Keldeo is an outstanding offensive pokemon in STABmons, acting as one of the best revenge killers and wallbreakers in the metagame. Water / Fighting typing is an amazing STAB combo, which that gives Keldeo great neutral coverage and, (AC) combined with its high Special Attack stat, makes Keldeo becomes a very credible offensive threat. It is able to 2HKO most of the metagame with powerful moves, such as Water Spout, Origin Pulse, and Secret Sword. Scald brings great utility to the table, inflicting burns that cripple physical attackers and wear down walls rather quickly on opponents which cripples physical attackers and wear down walls rather quickly. Although Keldeo has a high Speed stat, it is still outsped and easily revenge killed by threats such as Latios, Thundurus, (AC) and Serperior. Leaving it easily be revenge killed. It also does not really have great coverage outside of its STABs moves, making it more prone to be checked by a wider array of Pokemon (uhm.. maybe "leaving it easily checked by Pokemon that resist its STAB combination?" It's not exactly the same thing but I don't think it really makes sense to write it as you did either). Despite these flaws, Keldeo remains an offensive powerhouse that can wear down the opposing team with its powerful moves and great offensive stats, making it a threat that should always be prepared for.

Secret Sword is its Keldeo's secondary STAB move that lets it hit specially defensive walls such as Chansey and Ferrothorn for more damage. Finally, Icy Wind is a nice coverage option that lets Keldeo hit Grass-types such as Serperior and Dragon-types (add hyphen) like Dragonite. Hidden Power Bug can be used to hit Psychic-types like Celebi and Starmie.

Choice Specs boosts Keldeo's damage output to incredible levels, making it able to 2HKO most of metagame. Life Orb can also be run to allow Keldeo to switch moves, but the damage output is quite noticeable compared to Choice Specs and the recoil can wear it down quickly. Additionally, Water Spout should never be used alongside Life Orb. The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to increase Keldeo's offensive capabilities. The Timid nature was also chosen to let Keldeo outspeed threats such as Mega Charizard X, (RC) and Kyreum-B, allowing it to remain a threat to offensive teams.

Usage Tips
========

This Keldeo set is a reliable wallbreaker, dismantling many powerful cores thanks to its powerful moves and high Special Attack, letting it dismantle many defensive cores thanks to it's powerful moves and high Special Attack. Keldeo can switch into resisted hits with ease due to its moderate bulk, but it should never be switched in on any moves if it you chooses to run Water Spout. This set Keldeo is best utilized throughout the end of the match, as it can sweep through weakened teams once its checks and counters are gone. However, it can be used earlier on to break through defensive walls, allowing your other team members to sweep more easily. Try to eliminate faster threats such as Thundurus and Serperior that could potentially harm Keldeo this set before trying to sweep with it Keldeo.

Team Options
========

Latios is a near-perfect (add hyphen) partner for Keldeo, as it can deal with its Keldeo's checks and counters such as Mega Venausaur, Slowbro, and Latias. Keldeo also deals with Pursuit, (AC) which can otherwise trap Latios (well technically Latios can still get caught by Pursuit and get KOed by I even if Keldeo is on its team. Maybe mention "deals with common Pursuit trappers"? or "hinders Pursuit trappers from coming onto the field?" Although I'm not sure it's true becuase I don't really know which are these common Pursuit trappers) , while Latios can remove entry hazards and heal Keldeo with Healing Wish in return, allowing it to spam Water Spout more often. Bulky Grass- and Water-types (add hyphens) such as Mega Venausaur and Gyarados can wall Keldeo extremely well, (AC) so This is why it is recommended to run Pokemon that can beat Grass-types and Water-types them alongside Keldeo, such as Kyureum-B, Thundurus, (AC) and Mega Charizard-Y. Tornadus-T is another great partner for Keldeo, as its Flying typing in conjunction with its amazing ability to pivot greatly helps Keldeo fend off against Grass-type pokemon such as Mega Venasaur and Celebi. Pursuit trappers such as Weavile and Tyranitar also work well with Keldeo, as they can trap Psychic-types (add hyphen) such as Latios, Celebi, (AC) and Slowbro that can all take one hit from Keldeo and can potentially KO it. Heatran is another great Pokemon that works well with Keldeo, as they both deal with each others each other's checks and counters such as Latias, Talonflame, and Mega Venasaur (unclear; these seem to be Keldeo's checks/counters, with which Heatran can deal fairly well. However, you chose to use "each other's", so I'd just remove this part. If you want to keep it, be sure to change the previous sentence to ",as it [heatran] can deal with Keldeo's checks and coutners, such as..") quite well. Its typing provides amazing resistances such as Grass, Flying, (AC) and Psychic that all can potentially harm Keldeo. This set can usually be run on more offensively orientated teams, due to it having the capability of breaking down many defensive cores, which many offensive teams have a difficult time to break through.

Moves
========

Water Spout is a powerful move that is able to almost 2HKO almost the entire tier at its highest damage output, and it is a very good move to revenge kill weakened threats with a Choice Scarf. Secret Sword is its Keldeo's main Fighting STAB move of choice, being able to hit specially defensive walls like Chansey and Tyranitar much harder. Origin Pulse is its Keldeo's second STAB Water STAB move that should be used if Keldeo is weakened and can no longer abuse spam powerful Water Spouts no more. Scald is another Water-type STAB move that Keldeo can run to inflict burns, which can weaken walls and cripple physical attackers. Icy Wind is a decent coverage option that allows Keldeo to hit Grass-type and Dragon-type Pokemon, such as Serperior and Dragonite, super effectively such as Serperior and Dragonite respectively, and it is a nice tool to lower your opponent's speed stat the foe's Speed as well. Hidden Power Electric is another coverage option that lets Keldeo hit Water-type Pokemon such as Gyrados, Slowbro, Starmie, and Azumaill. Finally, Hidden Power Bug is a nice lure option that is not seen quite often and allows Keldeo to hit bulky Psychic-types such as Slowbro, Mega Slowbro, Latias, (AC) and Celebi super effectively.

Choice Scarf enables Keldeo to outspeed faster Pokemon such as Alakazam, Serperior, and Mega Diancie that would otherwise threaten to KO it, and be able to allowing it revenge kill them more easily. Examples being Alakazam, Serperior and Mega Diancie. The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to strengthen Keldeo's offensive capabilities, while the a Timid nature is chosen to outspeed as many threats as possible.

Usage Tips
========

Keldeo can act as a perfect revenge killer for any offensive team, as its high-powered (add hyphen) moves combined with its great Special Attack lets it tear through other offensive teams with ease. Try not to bring Keldeo in on any attacks, as it would weaken the strength of Water Spout tremendously. Also be weary of priority moves from Pokemon such as Ursaring and Talonflame, who which can weaken Keldeo's Water Spout before it can even attack. Keldeo is susceptible to status moves, as paralysis cripples its Speed and toxic weakens the power of Water Spout. This set is recommended to be used more late-game (add hyphen), as Keldeo would be able to sweep teams after its checks and counters are weakened, (AC) down although Scald can be used to weaken down walls such as Clefable, Ferrothorn, and Rotom-Wash early game, allowing other teammates to have an easier time sweeping afterwards.

Team Options
========

Latios synergies really well with Keldeo, as it can remove entry hazards and heal Keldeo with Healing Wish, allowing it to wallbreak more often with Water Spout. They can deal with each others checks and counters, as Keldeo can deal with take on Dark-type Pokemon while Latios deals with Psychic- (add hyphen) and Grass-type Pokemon. Tornadus-T is another great example of a great partner for Keldeo, as its Flying typing combined with the ability to safely pivot with U-turn and can switch into Keldeo's checks and counters, such as Mega Venusaur and Starmie, multiple times thanks to Regenerator Regenerator truly helps Keldeo deal with threats such as Mega Venasaur and Starmie. This Keldeo set should be used on more offensive teams, as it can act as a useful check to most of the Pokemon who that can threaten this playstyle opposing offensive teams, such as Terrakion and Gengar, (AC) although it could be run on balanced teams needing a check to other opposing offensive teams. Keldeo prefers to be paired with Pokemon that can deal with Grass- and Dragon-types (add hyphens) that who can wall it depending on what it runs. For instance, Landorus-T and Kyreum-B are nice options due to their amazing offensive typing that has great synergy with Keldeo's. Psychic-types (add hyphen) are also a pain for Keldeo to deal with, so running Dark-type (add hyphen) Pokemon with Pursuit such as Tyranitar and Weavile are highly recommended, as they let Keldeo have an easier time wallbreaking. Grass-types (add hyphen) like Serperior and Ferrothorn greatly pair greatly with Keldeo as well, as they can deal with bulky Water-types (add hyphen) such as Slowbro and Azumarill. Entry Hazards removal is also useful, as they can weaken Keldeo quite quickly, which can decrease it's its offensive capabilities as it often switches in and out quite often. Healing Wish support can also be very essential from Pokemon such as Latias, Latios, and Jirachi, as it recovers restores Keldeo's HP and allowsing Water Spout to deal more damage.

Substitute works great well with Calm Mind, as it secures Keldeo from attacks that have the potential to KO it, (RC) and let's lets it setup set up much more easily easier. It also blocks crippling status conditions such as paralysis and poisoning toxic (although I'd say it blocks Thunder Wave and Toxic rather than the conditions themselves) . It is also nice tool to block the popular Fake Out + Extreme Speed combination, and it also blocks prevents Chansey from using Transform succesfully. Calm Mind is there to boosts Keldeo's wallbreaking capabilities to terrifying levels. It also allows Keldeo to be surprisingly bulky on the specially defensive side, letting it be able to survive powerful attacks from strong Pokemon after a couple of boosts. Scald is its Water-type STAB move of choice, as it possesses a high chance to burn the target, which works well in conjunction with the Special Defense boosts from Calm Mind. Secret Sword is the Fighting STAB move, letting Keldeo hit specially defensive wallsa and opposing Calm Mind users.

Set Details
========

Leftovers is the best item to be used on this set, as it can passively recovery health that was can be used to create the Substitutes, (AC) and it also increases Keldeo's longevity as well. However, a Salac Berry can also be used to boost Keldeo's Speed, (AC) which, that in conjunction with Calm Mind boosts, can be extremely devastating, (AC) lthough it allows Keldeo to be easily revenged killed by priority users such as Talonflame and Mega Lopunny. The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to maximize Keldeo's sweeping capabilities, and Timid is the chosen nature to outspeed as many most Pokemon as possible, such as Kyreum-B and Mega Charizard X.

Usage Tips
========

Keldeo should only start setting up once it's its checks and counters are gone or are extremely weakened, as it doesn't have any coverage move to hit them Without any coverage moves, Keldeo can only set up once its checks and counters are gone or crippled. Keldeo can also be threatened by sound-based moves such as Boomburst Sylveon's Boomburst and Hyper Voice Mega Gardevoir's Hyper Voice, which that can break past bypass Substitutes and OHKO Keldeo. Try to not let Keldeo be weakened too much, as it needs quite a bit of HP to create Substitutes and to set up setup Calm Minds. This set can force many physical attackers out with the threat of Scald. It is also not threatened by passive Pokemon such as Chansey, Mega Sableye, (AC) and Klefki because Keldeo can set up on them (my best guess?). All these reasons combined allow Keldeo to easily find an opportunity to set up a Substitute and commence sweeping. However, Keldeo should also not try to start setting up if the opposing team has a phazer or a priority user that can end Keldeo's sweep quite abruptly.

Team Options
========

Latios is a great option addition in conjunction with this set, as it checks many Pokemon that would otherwise wall Keldeo such as Mega Venasaur, Celebi, Latias, and Slowbro, and it can also remove keep entry hazards keep off the field, (AC) giving Keldeo an easier time to sweep later on during the match. Flying-type Pokemon such as Thundurus and Landorus-T are also great partners with Keldeo, as they can deal with Grass-types like Mega Venasaur and Celebi that can otherwise completely wall it. Dark-type Pokemon such as Tyranitar and Weavile are also good teammates that can Pursuit trap bulky Psychic- types (add hyphen) that can wall Keldeo like Latios and Slowbro. Hoopa-U is another Dark-type Pokemon that can break through bulky Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Meloetta more easily. Assault Vest Metagross is also another Pursuit user that can be considered, as its great bulk allows it to Pursuit trap key threats such as Latios and Latias, while it is also able to deal with other threats such as Mega Diancie and Mega Venausaur. Fairy-type Pokemon such as Clefable and Klefki are also very useful as well, as they can deal with Dragon-types (add hyphen) like Dragonite and Latias, which can both take Keldeo's STAB moves and threaten to KO it. A physical Thundurus set is another great team option that can break through bulky Water-types such as Gyrados, Mega Blastoise, (AC) and Azumarill quite easily, remedying Keldeo's lack of coverage for these Pokemon on this set. This set can be used on more balanced teams, as it is one of the best stallbreakers in the metagame; (SC) however, it could be run on bulky offensive teams as well. Hazard setters such as Heatran and Ferrothorn are recommended, as it they can weaken down some of Keldeo's checks and counters of Keldeo, and thus making makes it sweep more easily and efficiently. Toxic Spikes setters such as Gengar and Scolipede are especially valued for their ability to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Porygon 2, as Keldeo tends to stall behind Substitutes.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Calm Mind set with three attacks gives Keldeo an extra coverage move such as Icy Wind or Hidden Power Bug to power through Pokemon that would otherwise be counters, such as Celebi or Latios. Vacuum Wave also goes well in the third attack slot, out-prioritizing faster threats such as Sand Ruch Excadrill and Choice Scarf Magnezone. However, Keldeo can easily be revenged killed due to the absence of Substitute. Taunt is another great move to shut down bulky walls who that rely on status moves to wear down the opposing Pokemon, and increasinges Keldeo's wallbreaking capabilities, but running Taunt amplifies Keldeo's four-moveslot syndrome 4MSS. Keldeo can also run an effective Substitute set with Leftovers, and it can forego Calm Mind for a coverage move such as Icy Wind and Hidden Power Bug to better deal with it's its checks and counters. However, Keldeo does miss out on a lot of KOs without without Life Orb, Choice Specs, or Calm Mind boosts. A RestTalk set in conjunction with two STAB moves allows Keldeo to have great longevity throughout the entire match due to Rest, (RC) and still remain to be threatening while sleeping thanks to Sleep Talk. This set can greatly counter many Dark-type Pokemon such as Weavile and Tyranitar, and it allows Keldeo to break through stall Pokemon that rely on Toxic damage to wear down their foes opposing pokemon. However, this set lacks power due to its reliance on Leftovers over an offensive item, which hampers its wallbreaking capabilities. Keldeo can also run an Expert Belt, Splash Plate, or Fist Plate to forego Life Orb recoil and Choice Specs restrictions, and these are is a great items to bluff what which exact set it is running, (AC) although due to Keldeo's limited coverage, it may not be utilized to it's fullest capability (this should be rephrased, is it Keldeo that is not utilized to its maximum potential or is the set that is not as effective on Keldeo as it is on other Pokemon?). Aura Sphere and Focus Blast are other STAB Fighting options that Keldeo can run that has have a higher damage output than Secret Sword; (SC) however, (AC) these moves are generally never seen, (AC) as Secret Sword has the amazing ability to take into account hit the target's Defense stat instead of Special Defense. Focus Blast is particularly unreliable due to its it's low accuracy.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Psychic-types**: Bulky Psychic-types (add hyphen) such as Mega Slowbro, Latias, (AC) and Celebi are all able to take any STAB move from Keldeo, (RC) and threaten to KO it in return. This can be mitigated, (AC) however, (AC) if Keldeo you decides to run Hidden Power Bug, but it still does not guarantee even a 2HKO on some of them. Pursuit trappers can also help with this issue, as they can usually weaken these Pokemon immensely before Keldeo confronts them again.

**Water-types**: Water-type (add hyphen) Pokemon such as Azumarill, Mega Blastoise, Manaphy, and Gyarados can easily come in on any Water-type (add hyphen) attack, (RC) and be able to threaten Keldeo with their respective coverage options. Running Hidden Power Electric can relive this issue minimally, but running having Grass-type Pokemon such as Serperior and Celebi to deal with them is usually the best way to counter these Pokemon. (period)

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togekiss, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, and Sylveon resist Fighting-type moves and can threaten to KO Keldeo with their STAB attacks. Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir in particular can both deal with Calm Mind Keldeo due to them being able to abuse make great use of sound-base attacks that bypass Substitute. Steel-type Pokemon such as Scizor and Ferrothorn are both great options to deal with these aforementioned threats.

**Flying-types**: Pokemon such as Tornadus-T and Dragonite are both bulky enough to survive both of Keldeo's STAB options and can threaten to KO it with their respective Flying-type move. However, they need to be wary if Keldeo decides to run Icy Wind, which can lower their Speed and allows Keldeo to be able to KO them.

Thundurus is especially threatening, (AC) it as it resists Fighting-type moves and threatens can deal with Choice Scarf Keldeo variants with priority Thunder Wave.

**Priority Users**: Keldeo especially does not appreciate priority users such as Talonflame, Mega Loppuny, (AC) and Ursaring, as they can severely weaken it Keldeo, decreasing the power of it's its Water Spout.

Please note:
1. Pokemon is always capitalized
2. X-type and X-types (for example Fire-types as in "multiple Fire-type Pokemon") always need a hyphen. X typing, however, does not (for example, "its pure Bug typing")

[OVERVIEW]
Keldeo is an outstanding offensive pokemon in STABmons, acting as one of the best revenge killers and wallbreakers in the metagame. Water / Fighting is an amazing STAB combo, that gives Keldeo great neutral coverage and, combined with its high Special Attack stat, (Insert space after comma)makes Keldeo a very credible offensive threat. It is able to 2HKO most of the metagame with powerful moves, such as Water Spout, Origin Pulse, and Secret Sword. Scald brings great utility to the table, inflicting burns that cripple physical attackers and wear down walls rather quickly. Keldeo also possesses rather decent bulk with a good defensive typing that lets it check threatening Pokemon such as Bisharp, Tyranitar, Heatran, and Weavile, giving it nice defensive utility on offensive teams. Keldeo is also very versatile when it comes to its movesets, as it can act as an outstanding revenge killer with a Choice Scarf, a powerful wallbreaker with Choice Specs, or a great sweeper with Calm Mind, allowing it to be quite unpredictable. (Completely stylistic and optional, but I would list these sets in the order in which the sets are detailed below. That is: Choice Specs first, Choice Scarf second, and Calm Mind last.)

Although Keldeo has a high Speed stat, it is still outsped and easily revenge killed by threats such as Latios, Thundurus, and Serperior. It also does not really have great coverage outside of its STAB moves, leaving it easily checked by Pokemon that resist its STAB combination. Despite these flaws, Keldeo remains an offensive powerhouse that can wear down the opposing team with its powerful moves and great offensive stats, making it a threat that should always be prepared for.

Water Spout is a devastatingly strong STAB move that allows Keldeo to break down many teams, especially in conjunction with Choice Specs. Origin Pulse is another powerful STAB move, as it lets Keldeo 2HKO most threats with ease without needing to worry about its HP. Secret Sword is Keldeo's secondary STAB move that lets it hit specially defensive walls such as Chansey and Ferrothorn for more damage. Scald is Keldeo's secondary reliable Water-type STAB move of choice, letting it Keldeo able to secure the KO on weakened Pokemon without dealing with the chances of missing. It Scald is also able to cripple physical attackers with its high chance of inflicting burns. Vacuum Wave is a great STAB priority option that allows Keldeo to hit faster threats such as Excadrill under sand and Choice Scarf Magnezone and helps Keldeo against Speed ties with Terrakion. Finally, Icy Wind is a nice coverage option that lets Keldeo hit Grass-types such as Serperior and Dragon-types like such as Dragonite (In all future references to this, you say Grass- and Dragon-types such as Serperior and Dragonite. Maybe make such a change here to parallel that?). Hidden Power Bug can be used to hit Psychic-types like such as Celebi and Starmie.

Set Details
========

Choice Specs boosts Keldeo's damage output to incredible levels, making it able to 2HKO most of the metagame. Life Orb can also be run to allow Keldeo to switch moves, but the damage output loss is quite noticeable compared to Choice Specs and the recoil can wear it down quickly. Additionally, Water Spout should never be used alongside Life Orb. The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to increase Keldeo's offensive capabilities. The Timid nature was also chosen to let Keldeo outspeed threats such as Mega Charizard X and Kyreum Kyurem-B, allowing it to remain a threat to offensive teams.

Usage Tips
========

Keldeo is a reliable wallbreaker, dismantling many powerful cores thanks to its powerful moves and high Special Attack. Keldeo can switch into resisted hits with ease due to its moderate bulk, but it should never be switched in on any moves if you choose to run Water Spout. Keldeo is best utilized throughout the end of the match, as it can sweep through weakened teams once its checks and counters are gone. However, it can be used earlier on to break through defensive walls, allowing your other team members to sweep more easily. Try to eliminate faster threats such as Thundurus and Serperior that could potentially harm Keldeo before trying to sweep with it.

Team Options
========
Latios is a near-perfect partner for Keldeo, as it can deal with Keldeo's checks and counters such as Mega Venausaur, Slowbro, and Latias. Keldeo also deals with common Pursuit trappers like Weavile and Hoopa-U, while Latios can remove entry hazards and heal Keldeo with Healing Wish in return, allowing it to spam Water Spout more often. Bulky Grass- and Water-types such as Mega Venausaur and Gyarados can wall Keldeo extremely well, so it is recommended to run Pokemon that can beat them alongside Keldeo, such as Kyureum-B, Thundurus, and Mega Charizard- (Remove Hyphen, but keep a space)Y. Tornadus-T is another great partner for Keldeo, as its Flying typing in conjunction with its amazing ability to pivot greatly helps Keldeo fend off against Grass-type pokemon such as Mega Venasaur Venusaur and Celebi. Pursuit trappers such as Weavile and Tyranitar also work well with Keldeo, as they can trap Psychic-types such as Latios, Celebi, and Slowbro that can take one hit from Keldeo and potentially KO it. Heatran is another great Pokemon that works well with Keldeo, as it can deal with Keldeo's checks and counters, such as Latias, Talonflame, and Mega Venasaur Venusaur quite well. Its typing provides amazing resistances such as Grass, Flying, and Psychic that can potentially harm Keldeo. This set can usually be run on more offensively orientated teams, due to it having the capability of breaking down many defensive cores, which many offensive teams have a difficult time to break through. Water Spout is a powerful move that is able to 2HKO almost the entire tier at its highest damage output, and it is a very good move to revenge kill weakened threats with a Choice Scarf (This right now implies that the weakened threats have a Choice Scarf.). Secret Sword is Keldeo's main Fighting-type STAB move, being able to hit specially defensive walls like Chansey and Tyranitar much harder. Origin Pulse is Keldeo's second STAB Water-type move that should be used if Keldeo is weakened and can no longer spam powerful Water Spouts. Latios synergies really well with Keldeo, as it can remove entry hazards and heal Keldeo with Healing Wish, allowing it to wallbreak more often with Water Spout. They can deal with each others checks and counters, as Keldeo can take on Dark-type Pokemon while Latios deals with Psychic-type and Grass-type Pokemon. Tornadus-T is another great partner for Keldeo, as its Flying typing combined with the ability to safely pivot with U-turn and can allows it to switch into Keldeo's checks and counters, such as Mega Venusaur and Starmie, multiple times thanks to Regenerator (remove space after "Regenerator" and before the period.). Keldeo should be used on more offensive teams, as it can act as a useful check to most of the Pokemon that can threaten this playstyle (remove space after "playstyle" and before the comma), such as Terrakion and Gengar, although it could be run on balanced teams needing a check to opposing offensive teams. Keldeo prefers to be paired with Pokemon that can deal with Grass- and Dragon-types that can wall it depending on what it runs (This is very confusing. (Bear in mind I'm not sure what this means, so if I might be mistaken) Maybe rewrite this: "Depending on what it runs, Keldeo can be walled by Grass- and Dragon-types, so it prefers to be paired with Pokemon that can deal with them." I'm assuming both of the uses of "it" refer to Keldeo.). For instance, Landorus-T and Kyreum Kyurem-B are nice options due to their amazing offensive typings that has have great synergy with Keldeo's typing. Psychic-types are also a pain for Keldeo to deal with, so running Dark-type Pokemon with Pursuit such as Tyranitar and Weavile are highly recommended, as they let Keldeo have an easier time wallbreaking. Grass-types like Serperior and Ferrothorn pair greatly with Keldeo as well, as they can deal with bulky Water-types such as Slowbro and Azumarill. Entry hazards_(Insert space here)removal is also useful, as they can weaken Keldeo quite quickly, which can decrease its offensive capabilities as it switches in and out quite often. Substitute works well with Calm Mind, as it secures Keldeo from attacks that have the potential to KO it and lets it set up much more easily. It also blocks crippling status conditions from Thunder Wave and Toxic. It safeguards Keldeo from the popular Fake Out + Extreme Speed combination, and it also prevents Chansey from using Transform successfully. Scald is its Water-type STAB move of choice, as it possesses a high chance to burn the target, which (Insert space)works well in conjunction with the Special Defense boosts from Calm Mind. Secret Sword is the Fighting-type STAB move, letting Keldeo hit specially defensive walls and opposing Calm Mind users.

Leftovers is the best item to be used on this set, as it can passively recovery HP (I was confused, but I think this is what you mean.) that can be used to create Substitutes, and it also increases Keldeo's longevity. However, a Salac Berry can also be used to boost Keldeo's Speed, which, in conjunction with Calm Mind boosts, can be extremely devastating, though it allows Keldeo to be easily revenged killed by priority users such as Talonflame and Mega Lopunny. The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to maximize Keldeo's sweeping capabilities, and Timid is the chosen nature to outspeed as many Pokemon as possible, such as Kyreum Kyurem-B and Mega Charizard X.

Usage Tips
========

Keldeo should only start setting up once it's its checks and counters are gone or are extremely weakened, as it doesn't have any coverage move to hit them. Keldeo can also be threatened by sound-based moves such as Sylveon's Boomburst and Mega Gardevoir's Hyper Voice,
which can bypass Substitutes and OHKO Keldeo. Try to not let Keldeo be weakened too much, as it needs quite a bit of HP to create Substitutes and to set up Calm Minds. This set can force many physical attackers out with the threat of Scald. It is also not threatened by passive Pokemon such as Chansey, Mega Sableye, and Klefki because Keldeo can set up on them. All these reasons combined allow Keldeo to easily find an opportunity to set up a Substitute and commence sweeping. However, Keldeo should not try to start setting up if the opposing team has a phazer or a priority user that can end Keldeo's sweep quite abruptly.

Latios is a great option in conjunction with this set, as it checks many Pokemon that would otherwise wall Keldeo such as Mega Venasaur Venusaur, Celebi, Latias, and Slowbro, and it can also keep entry hazards keep off the field, giving Keldeo an easier time to sweep later on during the match. Flying-type Pokemon such as Thundurus and Landorus-T are also great partners with Keldeo, as they can deal with Grass-types like Mega Venasaur Venusaur and Celebi that can otherwise completely wall it. Dark-type Pokemon such as Tyranitar and Weavile are also good teammates that can Pursuit trap bulky Psychic- types that can wall Keldeo like such as Latios (Content comment: Latios isn't a bulky Psychic-type though. Did you mean Latias?) and Slowbro. Fairy-type Pokemon such as Clefable and Klefki are also very useful, as they can deal with Dragon-types like Dragonite and Latias, which can both take Keldeo's STAB moves and threaten to KO it. A physical Thundurus set is another great team option that can break through bulky Water-types such as Gyarados, Mega Blastoise, and Azumarill quite easily, remedying Keldeo's lack of coverage for these Pokemon. This set can be used on more balanced teams, as it is one of the best stallbreakers in the metagame; however, it could be run on bulky offensive offense teams as well. Entry hazard setters such as Heatran and Ferrothorn are recommended, as they (Ambiguous "they". Intuitively I believe you're talking about the entry hazards, but this can be read as the entry hazard setters instead. I would recommend replacing "they" with "entry hazards" if that's what you meant.) can weaken some of Keldeo's checks and counters, and thus making it sweep more easily and efficiently. Toxic Spikes setters such as Gengar and Scolipede are especially valued for their (Again this is ambiguous. I would recommend clarifying this. The sentence could be reworded: "Toxic Spikes setters...are especially valued because Toxic Spikes can wear down...") ability to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Porygon (Remove space here. Porygon2 is one word.)2, as Keldeo tends to stall behind Substitutes.

Aura Sphere and Focus Blast are other STAB Fighting options that Keldeo can run that has have a higher damage outputs than Secret Sword; however, these moves are generally never seen, as Secret Sword has the amazing ability to take into account the target's Defense stat instead of Special Defense. Focus Blast is particularly unreliable due to its it's low accuracy.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Bulky Psychic-types**: Bulky Psychic-types such as Mega Slowbro, Latias, and Celebi are able to take any STAB move from Keldeo and threaten to KO it in return. This can be mitigated, however, if you decide to run Hidden Power Bug, but it still does not guarantee even a 2HKO on some of them. Pursuit trappers can also help with this issue, as they can usually weaken these Pokemon immensely before Keldeo confronts them again.

**Water-types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Azumarill, Mega Blastoise, Manaphy, and Gyarados can easily come in on any Water-type attack and threaten Keldeo with their respective coverage options. Running Hidden Power Electric can relieve this issue minimally, but having Grass-type Pokemon such as Serperior and Celebi to deal with them is usually the best way to counter these Pokemon.

**Fairy-types**: Fairy-type Pokemon such as Togekiss, Mega Gardevoir, Mega Diancie, and Sylveon resist Fighting-type moves and can threaten to KO Keldeo with their STAB attacks. Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir in particular can both deal with Calm Mind Keldeo due to them being able to make great use of sound-base attacks that bypass Substitute. Steel-type Pokemon such as Scizor and Ferrothorn are both great options to deal with these threats.

**Flying-types**: Tornadus-T and Dragonite are both bulky enough to survive both of Keldeo's STAB options and can threaten to KO it with their respective Flying-type moves. However, they need to be wary if Keldeo decides to run Icy Wind, which can lower their Speed and allows Keldeo to be able to KO them.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types such as Mega Venasuar Venusaur and Serperior can deal with Keldeo quite prominently, due to them resisting Water-type attacks and Mega Venasaur Venusaur resisting Fighting-type attacks as well. Flying-type Pokemon like Thundurus and Landorus-T are both great teammates that threaten Grass-types in general.

**Fast Electric-types**: Fast Electric-types such as Thundurus, Raikou, and Mega Manectric can threaten to KO Keldeo if it lacks Vacuum Wave. Thundurus is especially threatening, as it resists Fighting-type moves and can deal with Choice Scarf Keldeo with priority Thunder Wave.

**Priority Users**: Keldeo does not appreciate priority users such as Talonflame, Mega Loppuny Lopunny, and Ursaring, as they can severely weaken it, decreasing the power of its Water Spout.

Water Spout is a devastatingly strong STAB move that allows Keldeo to break down many teams, especially in conjunction with Choice Specs.

Choice Specs boosts Keldeo's damage output to incredible levels, making it able to 2HKO most of the metagame. Life Orb can also be run to allow Keldeo to switch moves, but the damage output loss is quite noticeable compared to Choice Specs is quite noticeable and the recoil can wear it down quickly. Keldeo is a reliable wallbreaker, dismantling many powerful cores thanks to its powerful moves and high Special Attack. Keldeo can switch into resisted hits with ease due to its moderate bulk, but it should never be switched in on any attacks moves if you choose to run Water Spout. Keldeo is best utilized throughout the end of the match, as it can sweep through weakened teams once its checks and counters are gone. However, it can be used earlier on to break through defensive walls, allowing your other team members to sweep more easily. Try to eliminate faster threats such as Thundurus and Serperior that could potentially harm Keldeo before you try trying to sweep with it. (subject of "trying" here is "faster threats")

Latios is a near-perfect partner for Keldeo, as it can deal with Keldeo's checks and counters such as Mega Venausaur, Slowbro, and Latias. Tornadus-T is another great partner for Keldeo, as its Flying typing in conjunction with its amazing ability to pivot greatly helps Keldeo fend off against Grass-type Pokemon (capitalize) such as Mega Venasaur Venusaur and Celebi. Pursuit trappers such as Weavile and Tyranitar also work well with Keldeo, as they can trap Psychic-types such as Latios, Celebi, and Slowbro that can take one hit from Keldeo and potentially KO it. Heatran is another great Pokemon that works well with Keldeo, as it can deal with Keldeo's checks and counters, (remove comma) such as Latias, Talonflame, and Mega Venasaur Venusaur quite well. Its Heatran's typing also provides amazing resistances to types such as Grass, Flying, and Psychic that can potentially harm Keldeo is weak to. Moves
========

Water Spout is a powerful move that is able to 2HKO almost the entire tier at its highest damage output, and it is a very good move with which to revenge kill weakened threats with a Choice Scarf (This right now implies that the weakened threats have a Choice Scarf.). Secret Sword is Keldeo's main Fighting-type STAB move, being able to hit specially defensive walls like Chansey and Tyranitar much harder than Keldeo's special moves. Origin Pulse is Keldeo's second STAB Water-type move that should be used if Keldeo is weakened and can no longer spam powerful Water Spouts. Scald is another Water-type STAB move that Keldeo can run to inflict burns, which can weaken walls and cripple physical attackers. Icy Wind is a decent coverage option that allows Keldeo to hit Grass-type and Dragon-type Pokemon, (remove comma) such as Serperior and Dragonite, (remove comma) super effectively, and it is a nice tool to lower the foe's Speed as well. Hidden Power Electric is another coverage option that lets Keldeo hit Water-type Pokemon such as Gyarados, Slowbro, Starmie, and Azumarill. Finally, Hidden Power Bug is a nice option that is not seen quite often and allows Keldeo to hit bulky Psychic-types such as Slowbro, Mega Slowbro, Latias, and Celebi super effectively.

Choice Scarf enables Keldeo to outspeed faster Pokemon such as Alakazam, Serperior, and Mega Diancie that would otherwise threaten to KO it, allowing it to revenge kill them more easily. The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to strengthen Keldeo's offensive capabilities, while a Timid nature is chosen to outspeed as many threats as possible.

Usage Tips
========

Latios synergies synergizes really well with Keldeo, as it can remove entry hazards and heal Keldeo with Healing Wish, allowing it to wallbreak more often with Water Spout. They can deal with each others other's checks and counters, as Keldeo can take on Dark-type Pokemon while Latios deals with Psychic-type and Grass-type Pokemon. Keldeo should be used on more offensive teams, as it can act as a useful check to most of the Pokemon that can threaten this playstyle (remove space after "playstyle" and before the comma), such as Terrakion and Gengar, although it could can be run on balanced teams needing that need a check to opposing offensive teams. Psychic-types are also a pain for Keldeo to deal with, so running Dark-type Pokemon with Pursuit such as Tyranitar and Weavile are is (running ... is) highly recommended, as they let Keldeo have an easier time wallbreaking. Grass-types like Serperior and Ferrothorn pair greatly well ("greatly" sounds to me like it's referring to size here) with Keldeo as well, as they can deal with bulky Water-types such as Slowbro and Azumarill. Entry hazards_(Insert space here)removal is also useful, as they hazards can weaken Keldeo quite quickly, which can decrease its offensive capabilities as because it switches in and out quite often. Healing Wish support can also be essential from Pokemon such as Latias, Latios, and Jirachi, as it restores Keldeo's HP and allows Water Spout to deal more damage.

Moves

Substitute works well with Calm Mind, as it secures Keldeo from against attacks that have the potential to KO it and lets it set up much more easily. It also blocks crippling status conditions from Thunder Wave and Toxic, (period to comma) It safeguards Keldeo from the popular Fake Out + Extreme Speed combination, and it also prevents Chansey from using Transform successfully. Calm Mind boosts Keldeo's wallbreaking capabilities to terrifying levels. It also allows gives Keldeo to be surprisingly bulky on the specially defensive side surprising amounts of special bulk, letting it be able to survive powerful attacks from strong Pokemon after a couple of boosts. Scald is its Keldeo's Water-type STAB move of choice, as it possesses a high chance to burn the target, which (Insert space)works well in conjunction with the Special Defense boosts from Calm Mind. Secret Sword is the Fighting-type STAB move, letting Keldeo hit specially defensive walls and opposing Calm Mind users.

Set Details
========
The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to maximize Keldeo's sweeping capabilities, and Timid is the chosen nature to let Keldeo outspeed as many Pokemon as possible, such as Kyreum Kyurem-B and Mega Charizard X.

Usage Tips
========

Keldeo should only start setting up once it's its checks and counters are gone or are extremely weakened, as it doesn't have any coverage move (keep "any" and change "move" to "moves") to hit them. Keldeo can also be threatened by sound-based moves such as Sylveon's Boomburst and Mega Gardevoir's Hyper Voice, (remove line break) which can bypass Substitutes and OHKO Keldeo.

Team Options
========

Latios is a great option in conjunction with this set, as it checks many Pokemon that would otherwise wall Keldeo (they still wall Keldeo itself, even if Latios is a teammate) such as Mega Venasaur Venusaur, Celebi, Latias, and Slowbro, and it can also keep entry hazards keep off the field, giving Keldeo an easier time to sweep sweeping later on during the match. Flying-type Pokemon such as Thundurus and Landorus-T are also great partners with for Keldeo, as they can deal with Grass-types like Mega Venasaur Venusaur and Celebi that can otherwise completely wall Keldeo. it. Dark-type Pokemon such as Tyranitar and Weavile are also good teammates that can Pursuit trap bulky Psychic-types (one word) that can wall Keldeo like such as Latios (Content comment: Latios isn't a bulky Psychic-type though. Did you mean Latias?) and Slowbro. Hoopa-U is another Dark-type Pokemon that can break through bulky (Psychic-type?) Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Meloetta more easily. Assault Vest Metagross is also another Pursuit user that can be considered, as its great bulk allows it to Pursuit trap key threats such as Latios and Latias, while it is also able to deal with other threats such as Mega Diancie and Mega Venausaur. This set can be used on more balanced teams, as it is one of the best stallbreakers in the metagame; however, it could can be run on bulky offensive offense teams as well. Entry hazard setters such as Heatran and Ferrothorn are recommended, as they (Ambiguous "they". Intuitively I believe you're talking about the entry hazards, but this can be read as the entry hazard setters instead. I would recommend replacing "they" with "entry hazards" if that's what you meant.) can weaken some of Keldeo's checks and counters, and thus making allowing it to sweep more easily and efficiently. Toxic Spikes setters such as Gengar and Scolipede are especially valued for their (Again this is ambiguous. I would recommend clarifying this. The sentence could be reworded: "Toxic Spikes setters...are especially valued because Toxic Spikes can wear down...") ability to wear down bulky Pokemon such as Mega Slowbro and Porygon(Remove space here. Porygon2 is one word.)2, as Keldeo tends to stall behind Substitutes.

[STRATEGY COMMENTS]
Other Options
=============

A Calm Mind set with three attacks gives Keldeo an extra coverage move such as Icy Wind or Hidden Power Bug to power through Pokemon that would otherwise be counters to it, such as Celebi or and Latios. Vacuum Wave also goes well in the third attack slot, out-(Remove hyphen. Outprioritizing is one word)prioritizing faster threats such as Sand Ruch Rush Excadrill and Choice Scarf Magnezone. However, Keldeo can easily be revenged killed due to the absence of Substitute. Taunt is another great move to shut down bulky walls that rely on status moves to wear down the opposing Pokemon, increasing Keldeo's wallbreaking capabilities, but running Taunt amplifies Keldeo's four-moveslot syndrome. (Insert period) Keldeo can also run an effective Substitute set with Leftovers, and (Insert a space here) it can forego forgo (Forego means "to go before") (forego is also a variant spelling of forgo, so this change isn't needed) Calm Mind for a coverage move such as Icy Wind and or Hidden Power Bug to better deal with it's its checks and counters. However, Keldeo does miss out on a lot of KOs without without Life Orb, Choice Specs, or Calm Mind boosts. A RestTalk set in conjunction with two STAB moves allows Keldeo to have great longevity throughout the entire match due to Rest and still be threatening while sleeping asleep thanks to Sleep Talk. This set can greatly counter many Dark-type Pokemon such as Weavile and Tyranitar, and it allows Keldeo to break through Pokemon that rely on Toxic damage to wear down their foes. However, this set lacks power due to its reliance on Leftovers over an offensive item, which hampers its wallbreaking capabilities. Keldeo can also run an Expert Belt, Splash Plate, or Fist Plate to forgo Life Orb recoil and Choice Specs restrictions, and these are great items to bluff which exact set it is running. (Add period) , (RC) Although (these changes are incorrect; do not make them) due to Keldeo's limited coverage, this set these items may be not utilized to it's their fullest capabilities. capability. Aura Sphere and Focus Blast are other STAB Fighting-type STAB options that Keldeo can run that has have a higher damage outputs than Secret Sword; however, these moves are generally never seen, as Secret Sword has the amazing ability to take into account the target's Defense stat instead of Special Defense.

Moves
========

Set Details
========
The EVs are maxed out in Special Attack and Speed to maximize Keldeo's sweeping capabilities, and Timid is the chosen nature to let Keldeo outspeed as many Pokemon as possible, such as Kyreum Kyurem-B and Mega Charizard X.

Usage Tips
========

Team Options
========

Other Options
=============

Focus Blast is particularly unreliable due to its it's low accuracy.

Checks and Counters
===================

**Water-types**: Water-type Pokemon such as Azumarill, Mega Blastoise, Manaphy, and Gyarados can easily come in on any of Keldeo's Water-type attacks (for clarity) and threaten Keldeo with their respective coverage options.

Sylveon and Mega Gardevoir in particular can both deal with Calm Mind Keldeo due to their respective sound-based attacks, which them being able to make great use of sound-base attacks that bypass Substitute.

**Grass-types**: Grass-types such as Mega Venasuar Venusaur and Serperior can deal with Keldeo quite easily, prominently, ("prominent" means "important" or "noticeable", which I don't think is what you're going for here) due to them their resisting Water-type attacks and Mega Venasaur Venusaur's resisting Fighting-type attacks as well.

So if I just go over yours its 2/2?
