Those are checks. They don't like taking Judgments from Flame Plate variants. Heatran's also a check for those variants, but gets destroyed by Earth Plate variants without a balloon up. Yeah...
Check my calcs. Even with Earth Plate Bronzong can't check Sylveon reliably, as it gets 2HKO'd 82% of the time.

a standard team would have
Sylveon
Espeon
Scizor / Other Steal
Ursaring / Mega-Khan (if legal)
Poison / Dark Type? -Dark Void ..Darkrai is legal iirc.
Voltbeam Air Balloon Wonder Guard -Hackmons

So... Lights of Ruin?

140 Base Power special Fairy move with 50% recoil. It's slightly stronger than Pixillate Hyper Voice but it has recoil.

I feel like Earth Plate is best, as 252/252+ Skarmory is 2HKOed anyways by Boomburst, as is 252/252+ Bronzong after rocks. So if they try to switch in, they're dead next turn anyways. So yeah, Earth Plate > Flame Plate. Not even Ferrothorn avoids the 2HKO from Boomburst.

Screw Diamond Storm

Clefable@Life Orb
Trait: Magic Guard
EVs: 252 HP/252 SAtk/4 Spd
Modest Nature
-Light of Ruin
-Flamethrower
-Thunderbolt/Psychic
-Focus Blast
Oh. Wow, that's actually a great idea, since Magic Guard prevents recoil. Clefable looks like the best LoR user in STABmons.

tbh i don't think it's that good when Scizor-M(higher bulk, better typing, Technician Gear Grind) and Excadrill(Mold breaker) are aviable. Not bad per se, just a bit outclassed. It avoids Intimidate and Sticky Web, that might be cool i guess.

I see Excadrill, But Mega-Scizor cant use Life orb and I often find Shift gear lacking (I've never been a lucky person, I currently have a 6 row miss with HJK)

Also, Rotom-F is a major treath with STAB BoltBeam, and nothing can take a Specs Adaptility/Download boosted Boomburst from Porygon-Z after SR besides Tyranitar in Sand.

Calcs on P-Z:
252 SpA Choice Specs Adaptability Porygon-Z Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Skarmory: 212-250 (63.4 - 74.8%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

252 SpA Choice Specs Adaptability Porygon-Z Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 0 SpD Tyranitar in Sand: 157-185 (38.8 - 45.7%) -- 17.6% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

252 SpA Choice Specs Adaptability Porygon-Z Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 4 SpD Mega Scizor: 234-276 (68 - 80.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

252 SpA Choice Specs Adaptability Porygon-Z Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Florges: 248-294 (68.8 - 81.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

+1 252 SpA Choice Specs Porygon-Z Boomburst vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Bronzong: 171-201 (50.5 - 59.4%) -- 82.4% chance to 2HKO after Leftovers recovery

Rotom-F has an awful defensive typing, so I wouldn't exactly call it a "major threat". All it really gains is Ice Beam and Freeze Dry.

Porygon-Z, on the other hand, is a massive threat, proably the single best Normal-type in Stabmons.

Are thee any good Freeze Dry users? The only thing I can think of is Cloyster, who is walled by a lot of Water-types in Standard.

Um, you mean STABmons? And I don't really think so.

Diancie seems like the perfect counter to Ursaring, resisting all of it's standard moves except EQ(which it doesn't really have room to run anyway, as it would either lose to ghosts, Skarm, or ferro) and unlike Carbink, it can actually do something back.

Water / Ice types love this move, as Freeze Dry + Water STAB has amazing coverage. Unfortunantely, Cloyster is probably the best user. I guess Walrein can use it too. 95 SpA isn't too horrible.

Fun fact, STABmons also finally gives Water/Ice types access to Scald, which they lack in standard, allowing them to put their generally formidable bulk to much better use. I'm always so disappointed when I go to use Walrein in standard metas but discover he can't use Scald. 110/90/90 bulk with 95 SpA is fantastic.
