hello this is TEA_DEMON reporting to you live from vancouver where the has been riot activity for some time now. interestingly though, one pair of people aren't rioting; in fact they've prepared a pokemon battle. yes, a pokemon battle, and they've even got rules. i managed to get myself a copy of these rules, and here they are.
so we have user steampowered versus user c$fp, the pair of brave souls they are amidst this outrage. i've even managed to get a copy of their teams for this match, so let's have a look at those two.

of course i'm sure their activities won't go unnoticed, and there's already a curious crowd gathered around; distracted for now, it seems. i have intelligence that it'll be user steampowered sending out his/her first pokemon and selecting its ability, then user c$fp will do the same but also give orders, then it'll swing back to steampowered to give orders. this could be interesting, so let's see what happens.

Sorry, but it looks like I will have to do this. Go, White Belly the Dragonite! First, we should put up a Safeguard so we don't get paralyzed. Then hit that Dragonair with a Dragon Pulse (looking at the calculation, this is not even fair), and then get Outraged!

    Safeguard, Dragon Pulse, Outrage

Ohh god this isn't good, but it's better than sending a fire or grass type up against a dragon type

Alright, if hax and the rioters work our way, it's possible to win this (though 99% chance we will lose)

Alright Dragon Dance to beat the speed tie follow up with a Dragon Rage for damage and finish with a Dragon Tail that will knock White Belly into the crowd of rioters, lose sight of you, be out of range for the Outrage and get her beat up by rioters.

I think that we keep the Dragon Dance boost at the end of the round and into the next round (I think) but in case we don't use Agility instead of Dragon Dance (we'll be left with + 1 speed at the end of the round)

welcome back to this news bulletin, brought to you by KFT (kentucky fried torchic). both trainers have sent out their first pokemon and it appears as though the match is about to get underway, so i'll give you a play-by-play commentary as it happens. the dragonite, apparently called white belly, appears to have set up a safeguard, whilst the dragonair, called storm, does a frantic dance. must be a dragon dance, yep. so now storm's faster than white belly, and she appears to be in some sort of rage... a dragon rage probably. white belly retaliates with a dragon pulse, so far she's got the edge here. but oh! storm's smacked white belly with her dragon tail, and she's crashed into some of the rioters! this doesn't look so good, the rioter that got hit is pretty angry. so angry, in fact, that he's thrown his own pokeball to the ground; a bibarel's joined in the match! he looks angry too and it exerts its frustration on white belly, kicking her while she's down. what a turn of events.

so after the first round of battling things are as follows:

it also appears as though user steampowered will be directing his/her pokemon first next round.

    Awww great, 25 HP,

oh shit I said Dragon Rage not Dragon Rush, what a fail

Anyways, since White Belly is still in Outrage from last turn (i think) use a combo of Agility and Dragon Tail to dodge whatever the first attack (probably Outrage) is and launch her into the crowd again, follow up with a Dragon Rush that will slam White Belly into Bibarel and get it to attack White Belly with Ice Beam (hopefully) and don't get hit by whatever Bibarel throws at you

if there is no first attack (safeguard or some other non attacking or status inflicting move) then switch Agility with Dragon Rush

Continue being Outraged from the last round for the next two actions, then Dragon Pulse if Dragonair is still conscious.

here we are again at the scene of the vancouver riots, i'm TEA_DEMON reporting this odd battle. it looks as though the battle is entering round 2 so let's watch.

both the bibarel and white belly rush at storm, but she seems to have used her agility to avoid bibarel's frustration. but oh dear, she can't avoid white belly's outrage, and that looks like it hurt. the bibarel, seemingly focused on storm at the moment, shoots an ice beam at her. storm isn't looking so good folks. white belly's still outraging, but she appears to have struck the bibarel this time. storm manages to use her dragon tail to smack white belly into the crowd again, and once more we have another trainer joining the fray; he's sent out a stantler, and the other pokemon seem intimidated by its horns. it appears to be as angry as its trainer too, and is thrashing wildly at storm. i think that's it from her, she's knocked out. the stantler isn't done yet though, and keeps thrashing, this is dangerous; it's hit white belly this time. the bibarel seems annoyed that the stantler is taking its target, and has let out its frustration on the stantler. white belly appears to just be chilling out.

so it looks as though round 2 is over, let's see the situation now.

welcome back folks, i'm TEA_DEMON reporting, and this match looks set to explode. user steampowered has sent out what looks like a servine, yep, called cello i'm told. the stantler looks a bit off-put by the addition of another pokemon into the fray, and yikes it's let out an intimidating roar again. the other pokemon look pretty terrified. oh dear the stantler's still thrashing about, this time striking the new arrival; cello's taken a hit. bibarel seems to be more concerned with white belly though, and takes out out his frustration on her. white belly's looking pretty ragged now, but she's able to let loose an ice beam, hitting cello for super effective damage. but oh! he's retaliated with a mirror coat, and it looks like white belly won't be getting back up; she's knocked out.

I will send out Electro the Magnezone.
    Electro the Magnezone (open)
    Magnezone* [Electro] (Genderless)
Nature: Modest (+ * to Special Attack, - * from Attack)
    Type: Electric/Steel
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.
Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

    Abilities:
    Ability 1: Magnet Pull
    Type: Can Be Activated
This Pokemon has the ability to generate a magnetic field that can attract or repulse Steel-type Pokemon. When attracted by Magnet Pull, Steel-types cannot move out of the immediate proximity without great difficulty, and can be pulled along by the Magnet Pull Pokemon. When repulsed, the Steel type is thrust violently away and contact attacks have immense difficulty striking the Magnet Pull Pokemon. The effect of both commands lasts for the following three (3) actions.
Command: (Ability: Magnet Pull (Attract) or Ability: Magnet Pull (Repulse) )
    Ability 2: Sturdy
    Type: Innate
This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.
    Ability 3 (DW) [unlocked]: Analytic
    Type: Can Be Enabled
If this Pokemon attacks second during an action, its attacks have two (2) more Base Attack Power.

Forgot to mention that Electro will be Analytic. Alright, Servine is already half-done for us. Let's start with a 25 HP Substitute, hopefully the extra Pokemon won't attack too much. Now use Discharge to try to hit Servine and all of the clones. Then hit Servine with a Flash Cannon. Hopefully Servine will get attacked by those rioters and this will be a win for us pretty soon.

Substitute(25 HP), Discharge(hit all copies of Servine), Flash Cannon

welcome back to this battle, with the rioting still going on around us. user c$fp has sent out electro the magnezone, and the stantler once again intimidates all of the pokemon present, then tries to thrash wildly again but it's too confused and hurts itself. oh dear. cello moves rapidly and creates three clones of itself, looks like a double team. the bibarel lets loose an ice beam, which hits and freezes the stantler. electro simply whips out a substitute of itself. cello tries to get her swag on but the substitute blocks it completely. bibarel rushes up to stantler and lets out some frustration on it. its trainer screams "TIRED OF THIS SHITASS GAME" and returns his pokemon, running off to participate in destruction once more. electro has a cunning plan regarding cello's clones, and discharges electricity in a circle around it, dissipating all of the clones and hitting the true cello as well. cello seems fed up with being tricky now and she summons a torrent of leaves, perhaps even a storm of leaves, which seems to pump her up contrary to what usually happens. bibarel, still an angry beaver, rushes up to cello this time for frustration release. electro charges up energy and fires a flash cannon at cello, doing good damage and it would've dropped her special defense if she wasn't so contrary, so it's raised instead. defense drops are too mainstream it seems.

Yeah, it should be my actions. I think you have a permanent attack drop from Stantler's Intimidate (which applied to Dragonite), but I'm not sure. Alright Electro, it looks like we got this one. A single Flash Cannon should finish Servine off, but who knows. So let's go with

    Flash Cannon, Thunderbolt, Flash Cannon

the rioter, noticing that the match is basically over, retreats back into the riot, taking his bibarel with him. cello tries to delay the inevitable by using double team to create clones of herself, but electro's flash cannon hits the true cello and knocks her out, netting the win for c$fp.

GG Steampowered, you did pretty well considering the fact that I went all out on your NFE's. If I had brought NFE's, you probably would have beat me. And thank you TEA_DEMON for the creative reffing!

EDIT: I agree, it was quite an enjoyable match!

I was destined to lose from the beginning, but that's not the point, the point is that it was a fun match. Good game C$FP it was a fun match. Thanks TEA_DEMON for reffing
