"And of course, here is the arena description for this Testing Facility!"
Soviet Russia; Explosive weaponry testing facility (SR: EWTF)

Date: December, 1969.

Location: Somewhere in the Ural Mountains

The Cold War is taking place at the time, and the U.S.S.R is trying to become the powerhouse of the world. Desperate to stay in check with America and their production of nuclear weapons, a large Factory in the heart of the motherland has been raised and is fuel-bent on one thing: to produce weapons of mass destruction.

The factory is not just one factory, but a combination of around 15, a massive area indeed, and is located on a tall chain of mountains in the urals. the location of the battle is in the Explosive Weaponry testing facility, which is nestled into the side of the highest peak in the chain. the ground has been leveled, so the battle arena is a flat 300x300 feet surrounded by tall gaping mountains, dotted with large iron building that plume out choking black smoke.

here is where the smaller proto types are tested out, and if they succeed with their purpose, then the blueprints are taken to the mass production factory and created to help the U.S.S.R bulk up in case of an American Onslaught. the whole area is mottled with mute colors; the white of snow, blotted by the black of ash and the gray of shrapnel. no trees or water sources can be found here in this "valley"; this was made for war, not nature appreciation. The arena is tested 24/7, always being used for experimentation of different weapons, ergo, shrapnel is flying constantly. this means your pokemon will slowly lose health- the metal bits are sharp!

The Facility is in open air, but is very odd, needing intense detail to get the picture. the ground, underneath all the ash, snow, ans shrapnel, is very hard. the ground here is permafrosted, so non-Ground and Steel type Pokémon have greater difficulty digging underground, costing 3 extra energy to do so. Also, the ground is magnetized, to test some special weapons the Soviets have concocted. therefore, all Steel pokemon can be positively charge, and float, giving them the magnet rise status as long as they are on the battlefield. The sky is a thick gray brew of clouds, and no sunshine can be called upon. Rain is rare in these parts, but a clever and talented pokemon can whip up a mighty deluge. Hail cannot occur here because, but it does snow a lot, dropping the temperature drastically (this is russia in the middle of winter in the mountains after all). Sandstorms oddly can be generated.

The air is sharp as the shrapnel flying through it.

In general this is a rough and rugged place to battle in. the condition are tough, and only an iron-thick hide can get you through safely. Watch out for the incoming missles and test bombs!

In the case of any inconsistencies between the flavor and the summary, the summary trumps the flavor.

In summary:
Steel types have constant Magnet Rise effect
Sandstorm and Rain may occur in addition to the Shrapnel, but no Hail or Sun
Dig costs 3 extra energy (inc. digging/staying under) unless the user is a Ground or Steel type
Whoever sends out his/her Pokemon first will be determined by a coin toss

"Now with that out of the way, let us see what the leader & challenger brought to the match!"

Magnezone* [Electro] (Genderless)
Nature: Modest (+ * to Special Attack, - * from Attack)
Type: Electric/Steel
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.
Steel: Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Magnet Pull
Type: Can Be Activated
This Pokemon has the ability to generate a magnetic field that can attract or repulse Steel-type Pokemon. When attracted by Magnet Pull, Steel-types cannot move out of the immediate proximity without great difficulty, and can be pulled along by the Magnet Pull Pokemon. When repulsed, the Steel type is thrust violently away and contact attacks have immense difficulty striking the Magnet Pull Pokemon. The effect of both commands lasts for the following three (3) actions. Steel-types cannot switch out in a Switch=OK battle while a Pokemon with Magnet Pull is on the field without the use of Baton Pass, U-turn, or Volt Switch.

Command: (Ability: Magnet Pull (Attract) or Ability: Magnet Pull (Repulse) )

Ability 2: Sturdy
Type: Innate
This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.

Ability 3 (DW) [unlocked]: Analytic
Type: Innate
If this Pokemon attacks after its target during an action, its attacks have two (2) more Base Attack Power.

Bronzong [Bronzong] (Genderless)
Nature: Brave (+ to Attack; - 15% from Speed; -10% flat evasion)
Type: Steel/Psychic
Steel: Steel STAB; immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.
Psychic: Psychic: Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic attacks regardless of weight difference. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Abilities:
Ability 1: Levitate
Type: Trait
This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a Flying-type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

Ability 2: Heatproof
Type: Innate
This Pokemon's mirror-like alloyed skin protects it from Fire-type attacks, reducing the type effectiveness of Fire-typed attacks to the next level of resistance (2x weak becomes neutral, neutral becomes resistance, etc.) The damage inflicted by burns is also cut in half.

Ability 3 (DW): Heavy Metal
Type: Innate
The Pokemon's body structure is immensely dense, doubling its actual weight. Additionally, when the Pokemon uses Giga Impact, Gyro Ball, Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Tackle, recoil and uncontrollable attacks [Full list: Double-Edge, Giga Impact, Gyro Ball, Head Charge, Head Smash, Heat Crash, Heavy Slam, Hi Jump Kick, Jump Kick, Outrage, Petal Dance, Submission, Tackle, Take Down, Thrash, Volt Tackle, Wood Hammer, and Wild Charge] it will calculate using a Weight Class that adds a value equal to the Pokemon's Weight Class divided by their Size Class, minus (-) one (1). [Ex. HM Aron WC = 5 + ((5 /1) - 1) = 9.

You've really put me in a corner with this bitch of a pokemon.

I guess my best bet would be Collosoil (@ Leftovers)

okay collo, let's get it~

Smack Down ~ Drill Run ~ Earthquake
If Substitute any action, [IF TAUNTED then deal w/ it] [IF YOU HAVE A SUBSTITUTE AND ARE NOT TAUNTED then encore] [IF NEITHER OF THOSE then Snatch]
IF Kit is at any point not smacked down after a1, replace the rest of your actions with Dig ~ Mud Bomb ~ Dig unless if you flinched a1 in which case Smack Down ~ Dig a2 and a3

i'm so incredibly fucked

Colossoil is one strong sunuvagun, but I think my trusty Kitsunoh can handle it.

Thanks to the highly credible SDS, it turns out both of Pwnemon's dodgy subs are both illegal; The first, because, "19:26 <SevenDeadlySins> you get 1 if per sub", & the second, because...

Round One - Fight!

Well, C$FP opens with Big Poe the Kitsunoh, holding a Life Orb, & Pwnemon responds with Jayne Cobb the Colossoil! While Big Poe starts to float in the air, let us bring up their stats, before beginning the attacks.

Big Poe opens by throwing up a protective barrier, which blocks Jayne Cobb's attack, which involved throwing rocks at the floating Kitsunoh in an attempt to ground it. Big Poe then creates a telepathic connection with Jayne Cobb, before temporarily erasing a few moves they both know. Jayne Cobb then responds by spinning his drill fast, before rushing & boring into Big Poe at a fast speed! Big Poe then goes low & trips over Jayne Cobb, striking critically, as Jayne Cobb tries to respond with an Earthquake, but as it turns out, it was sealed off!

With the round done, it looks like the Gym Leader has set himself up nicely, while Pwnemon needs to find a hole to exploit. How will C$FP attack, & how will Pwnemon respond? We will find out, after the break.

Low Kick has 19 BAP because of Life Orb (the other +3 in the calc is the crit, of course). One crit never hurt nobody, it probably won't be a big deal.

Low Kick, Fake Out, Low Kick

IF a Speed-Reducing move when you would use Low Kick, THEN Bulldoze and push actions back

Turns out I forgot Pressure & Cursed Body, so those are edited & have no significant consequence on the current situation to warrant a reorder. Also, Item BP Boosts apply to actual BP, hence, 19 BP, not 16+3.

Round Two - Changing The Tide...

Big Poe begins the round by aiming low & tripping over Jayne Cobb again, dealing massive damage, as Jayne Cobb responds by siphoning his life force into a doll which takes Big Poe's place! Big Poe then rushes at this doll, denting it, but not destroying is, as Jayne Cobb comes out & spins his drill, before rushing & boring it into Big Poe for some damage! Big Poe then pounds the ground, creating a tremour which battered the doll, as the real Jayne Cobb hurls mud at Big Poe, damaging it critically, & slowing it down!

Round end, & the combatants are becoming increasingly battered & bruised, but it seems that Pwnemon has made a nice recovery! Can Pwnemon convert this into the ever so critical first KO? Or will C$FP prove too strong for Jayne Cobb? Find out after the break.

LEADER C$FP VS. CHALLENGER PWNEMON

Round Three - The Leader Takes Control

Jayne Cobb begins by spinning its Drill around, & boring it into Big Poe, striking critically, as Big Poe's haunted body suddenly takes effect, disabling Jayne Cobb's attack! Big Poe responds by destroying the fake Jayne Cobb, before swiftly returning, resetting all changes, but retaining the levitating ability! Big Poe then starts to burrow into the hard floor, avoiding Jayne Cobb's attack, which involved hurling mud, before resurfacing to strike Jayne Cobb, before finally knocking out Jayne Cobb with one, final tripping attack!

Round done, & while C$FP got the crucial first KO, Big Poe is incredibly weak & tired, & looking like keeling over! Nevertheless, C$FP has a huge advantage, as Pwnemon goes to send in his next Pokemon. What will it be? We will find out soon enough.

pimpoleon? How unexpected of you!

first things first mister i really don't like that support movepool, so i think i'll go ahead and taunt you. and i really want you taunted. Therefore,

IF protective/evasive action used a1, use sub(15) and pushback

then, i'll follow up with a Dig and a Thunder Fang to layer on the hurt.

However, let us not forget our mortality- that would be quite deadly indeed. So,

IF damaging Ice-type move is used a1 or a2, and one was not used last action, use protect that action and pushback

E: this'll be my last post until the eighth - cmfp feel free to find a subref for you vs maxim

Pimpoleon then goes for the vats, before creating a chemically-induced tidal wave, which shrinks upon contact with the box, which combined with the blistering heat, deals weakened damage to Malcolm Reynolds. Malcolm Reynolds then creates a powerful shot of electricity, which he fires at Pimpoleon, striking him squarely & Paralysing him! Not to be outdone, Pimpoleon then fires burning water at Malcolm Reynolds, which also deals weakened damage thanks to the box & the sun.
