Arena: The Junkyard

Far, far, away from the city, past the river and through the meadow, beyond the mountains and over the plains, lies an ancient forest. But that's not important. What's important is what's beyond said ancient forest. Beyond said ancient forest lies an old, forgotten, junkyard. Old scraps of metal, appliances, and the bodies of forgotten cars pile up farther than one would imagine physically possible. If one were to go into the heart of the junkyard, they would discover a dirt clearing about 100 feet x 100 feet, and they would also find a lone trainer by the name of Complications.
Effects:
-The once cared-for junkyard seems to emanate sadness. Adding to the effect is the fact that it's always raining. Consequently, it is impossible to summon sunny weather without a Heat Rock, and even then, it will only last 4 rounds. However, Hail storms and Sandstorms can be summoned normally. When altered weather effects end, the arena's weather reverts to rain.
-Any Pokemon who's defenses (before any modifiers from items) add up to a BST of 8 or more (for example, Bronzong), recieve an increase of 1 rank to each of their defenses.

Hello people!

Why are here today, receiving this lovely rain from the skies MAKE IT STOOOOOP, to see the Steel Gym defend his badge for the third time overall. Let's take a look at the players.

The Gym Leader comes from a defeat against yours truly on his first match. But he is doing great on the tourney match and has a very good chance at defending his gym vs Birkal, so it is safe to say that his morale is good enough. He is an upper tier player with a well trained team, which means that you will need a solid strategy to stand a chance.

Pay special attention to Bolshevik the Bronzong. With Rare Candy and this lovely arena, it reaches 7 Def and SpD, which means that it is a very tough nut to crack. Its abilities allow it to weather hits from Pyroak well enough, and even Dusknoir, which hits Super-Effectively, struggles to deal more than 10.5hp of damage, thanks to the low BAP of Ghost moves. And with the peculiar change from last challenge to this one, Bronzong's lack of firepower won't be that bad for it.

Our challenger is rickheg. A trainer who strikes absolute terror at his foe's hearts. To give you an idea, he challenged two gyms so far and both leaders (Dark Gym with Lou and Fire Gym with Orcinus) left ASB during said matches. That can't just be a coincidence.

Kidding aside, rick is a very good player. His only "problem" is that his pokemon doesn't have overbloated movepools, unlike most challengers (/me is guilty as charged). But we will see that it probably won't be a problem to him.

Looking at his team, well, it is kinda familiar? It will be a great opportunity to see what Complications learned from his defeat (also, maybe he will be more inclined to bring his signature mon for a change?). Pay special attention to Dust the Cyclohm. Cyclohm can hit every mon bar Bronzong supereffectively and the rain means that it can use THUNDAR to muscle through the flying....wth is bronzong again? This match will go as smoothly (or as painfully) as the leader's ability to manage that menace.

And without further ado, let's take a look at the teeeeams!

Type: Electric/Dragon

Abilities:
Shield Dust:
(Passive) This Pokemon has dust covering the outside of its body that reduces the Effect Chance of incoming attacks to 0%. This prevents such things as Burns from Flamethrower from occuring.
Static: (Passive) This Pokemon's body is surrounded by an electric field that has a 30% chance of paralyzing opponents that use contact moves on this Pokemon.
Overcoat (DW): (Passive) This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather. If the Pokemon is already immune to at least one (1) kind of weather by typing or a different ability, Overcoat reduces the Base Attack Power of all oncoming attacks by one (1). Sorry, my comp crashed a bit, I completely lost track of what I was active in. Anywho...

Okay, time for our first gym match! And the Gym leader has even promised to see it to completion! We must be diligent, as even the slightest mistake can cost us victory.

OOO! Pick me! Pick me!!! I wanna go first!

It's raining, and you can't summon the sun. Remind me to buy a damn Heat Rock... Also, you'd be up against a Steel type that's not weak to fire. What on earth makes you think you can handle this Bronzong?

Because I'm also a Grass type. That's why my text is green, remember?

That makes EVEN LESS SEN- Oh, I see now. Yeah, get in there.

Surt the Pyroak @ Iron Ball

Worry Seed > Flare Blitz > Flare Blitz
IF successful P/E when you would Worry Seed, use Growth and push back.
IF Reflect is up when you would Flare Blitz, Dragon Tail

And since we both seem to have lost track of this thread once already, I'm going to suggest we tag each other (just me and Complications, I know Frosty is good without it) Complications whenever one of us has ordered and the other is up.
