Welcome back folks! The last round, we left our competitors tired and fatigued as they struggled to deal damage to each other. After some weird time dimension, we're back and ready to watch these competitors pummel each other some more!

Well, Pyroak starts by making yet another substitute from the rubble around the arena, while Dusknoir takes whatever rubble Pyroak can't grab to hit the substitute with a Rock Slide. After that, both pokemon chill out to preserve precious energy. They've come too far to fail on their trainers now. After that break, Pyroak hits Dusknoir with a Flare Blitz that scores a Critical Hit! Dusknoir didn't like that at all, so he responds by launching more rocks in a slide that destroys the substitute.

Not much else to say here, both pokemon are evenly matched and almost out of energy. What will happen next round? Nothing exciting I'd bet.

Uh...I'm not quite sure what you mean. I generally just have the pokemon use the last move he was about to use, then have him faint immediately afterwards.
 
Deck has ruled in the past that any non-combo move used that would EN KO yourself gets full effectiveness, unless it's one of the noted exceptions (Explosion etc) which fail entirely.

Round 6: Going All Out!

Welcome back folks! Last we left our competitors, we saw them run out most of their energy after a weird time dimension. What will this round hold?

Well, Pyroak seems to know the end is near, so he sets up a Sunny Day again to weaken Krillowatt's attacks. But instead of attacking with water, Krillowatt attacks with gobs of poison goo, which badly poison's Pyroak.

After that, Krillowatt then attacks Pyroak with a Hydro Pump, but it was considerably weakened by the sun. Pyroak, surprisingly, decides to send out some Bullet Seeds, but they only hit three times before ending. A shame he didn't use Leech Seed, if it worked like the anime Krillowatt would be dead by now.

Krillowatt then returns the assault by...grabbing a surfboard and riding the moat's waves? Oh, that's a fairly strong Surf attack, but most of the water from the arena has evaporated by now. Pyroak, seeing that he's about to meet a watery end, does massive damage with a Wood Hammer, and then promptly faints.

Well, that was exciting. Son of Shadoo currently leads 3-2 in terms of pokemon, but both of his mons look pretty weak and Smashlloyd has two healthy pokemon left. How will this end?

Round 7: Three Sevens are only lucky if you're not Tormented.

Welcome back folks! Last round we saw Smashlloyd's Pyroak finally go down, putting Son of Shadoo in the lead. But how long will that lead last?

From my perspective, probably at least a few rounds, as Krillowatt has just pulled a genius move with Tormenting Excadrill, ruining it's plans to just spam Earthquake the whole match. However, this action it does pull off an Earthquake, doing huge damage to Krillowatt.

Krillowatt spends his next action trying to burn Excadrill with Scalding water. While it didn't succeed in burning, it did do reasonable damage, albeit weakened due to the sun. Meanwhile, Excadrill is feeling the hurt from that Torment, as he's too incensed to make another Earthquake.

Of course, due to the rather odd way Torment works in ASB, Excadrill can now send out another Earthquake, so Krillowatt stalls for time by putting up a green Protective barrier...or at least he would if Son of Shadoo hadn't ordered another Scald that still fails to burn. With no barrier to hinder him, Excadrill sends out another Earthquake that sends Krillowatt on his last legs.

As we conclude this round, we see that Excadrill will be forced to not use Earthquake for the next round, limiting his already small (for ASB standards at least) movepool. However, he still has a few STAB attacks to hurt Krillowatt with. Who will gain the upper hand in the next round? Don't touch that dial, because we'll be right back.

Round 8: Sleeping Tactics

Welcome back folks! Last round, after several mistakes, Son of Shadoo found himself in a bit of a tight spot, with very low health. Can he turn this around?

Well, he certainly intends to, as his Krillowatt goes into a deep sleep to restore some health! In the meantime, Excadrill is making clones of himself using Double Team. It'll be hard for Son of Shadoo to figure this one out!

Krillowatt has a trick up its sleeve however, and starts chanting some words in his sleep. What move will his Sleep Talk choose? Suddenly, the ground shakes and in a plume of earth...an Excadrill clone is no more. Excadrill, confident in his next move, sends out a Drill Run that manages to deal massive damage to Krillowatt and wake him up before he can recover any more health!

Krillowatt, seeing that he's not asleep anymore, goes for one last Hydro Pump, which unfortunately hits a clone. Finally, Excadrill Digs underground and deals the finishing blow to Krillowatt, he's down!

Well, at this point I think Smashlloyd has smashed his way to victory. *collective groan from the audience* With a 2-2 tie and both of his pokemon in tip top shape, can Son of Shadoo eek out a victory? What will the future hold? Stay tuned to find the answer to these questions!
