Typing: Bug/Fire

Too many fucking options... This is satisfactory

Gliscor: Taunt (soil) ~ Rock Slide ~ Rock Slide
IF volc uses WoW use Sub that action and pushback UNLESS if taunted in which case use Dig (colossoil), with no pushback
IF Rage Powder is used a1 use Rock Slide ~ Sky Attack (volc) ~ Rock Slide

Pyroak: Flare Blitz (volc) ~ Wood Hammer (Soil) ~ Flare Blitz (volc)
IF rage powder makes Wood Hammer target Volc change it to Fire Blast instead"
IF volc uses protect and you are targeting him then use lava plume instead

Edit: And so I claim the dubious distinction of first orders in the entire Team Tourney!

"Yay, history! :D Now, let's see, how can I get around these substitutions..."

Summary:
Neville: Fake Out Aerotoxin -> Torment Aerotoxin -> Bounce Hot Potato
Harry: Substitute [20] -> Quiver Dance -> Protect

This is what it all comes down to. Months of training, hours of planning on IRC, and now the matches begin. In this first round, Dummy007 and Pwnemon face off, approaching from opposite ends on the large tournament arena. The crowd screams wildly, with four fans screaming even louder than the rest - their teammates Smash + Jas, and SoS + Texas. The two battlers ready two Pokeballs each, holding them lovingly, before tossing them out in a flash of light. The crowd suddenly quiets down for a moment, and then begins cheering again as they see the matchup. Pwnemon has released Aerotoxin the Gliscor and Hot Potato the Pyroak! Dummy007 is using Neville the Collosoil and Harry the Volcarona! A close matchup, for sure!

And, without warning, the battle begins! Neville dashes in to Aerotoxin, leaping out of the ground in an incredible display of groundwhale strength, and Fakes Out the Gliscor. Aerotoxin is sent tumbling to the ground for a moment, flinching from the sudden attack. Meanwhile, Harry has formed a Substitute with his own life energy, preparing for the relentless offense that will inevitably assault him. It seems to be good timing, too, as Hot Potato charges in, cloaked in flame, with a Flare Blitz, hammering the doll with a powerful attack. Though cracked and singed, the mighty Substitute still stands tall. Dummy's fans cheer wildly in support of the brave little doll.

Aerotoxin, flying high once again, quickly dives back towards the ground, grabbing a selection of Rocks. She soars high into the air, and Slides down her newfound cargo onto her foes. Neville is relatively unfazed, but Harry's Substitute is finally crushed. Harry, looking ominously down at his destroyed doll, bravely begins to Quiver Dance, the strange ritual invigorating the Volcarona. Neville is using his darker tendencies to full avail, Tormenting Aerotoxin with a series of rude remarks and taunts. To retaliate for his teammate, Hot Potato slams heavily into Neville with a Wood Hammer, crushing the ground-type with his tree-trunk arms. Pwnemon's fans go wild at the massive damage!

Harry begins by evasively throwing up a Protective barrier, which seems to have no effect yet...Aerotoxin is just too angry to manage any forms of attack, especially since Neville was complaining that she "only spams rock slide nubcake", so there is NO WAY she is going to use that for the next few (four) actions. Neville then showcases more groundwhale acrobatics, Bouncing high into the air. Pyroak angrily sprays Plumes of Lava all around, hitting Harry's barrier, and with no sign of Neville other than a small crater in the ground, it only hits Aerotoxin, enraging her even further! To add injury to injury/insult, Neville jumps down, slamming into Hot Potato with great force. At the end of the first round, Dummy007 has a fair advantage, can he keep it up?

God, I am so sorry to be skirting the DQ so much. Life got busy, fast.

Anyways, back to the Pokemons we know and love.

Neville starts off the next round with some more speedy whale attacks, attempting to charge Hot Potato, but the Pyroak resolutely Protects against the attack. Seeing the barrier, and partially due to the fact that Aerotoxin was Tormenting Neville, he quickly changes targets, and slams the Gliscor with an Aqua Tail. Harry tries to flap his wings and make angry bee buzzing noises, but Pyroak's barrier makes this attack in vain.

Neville tries to rush in and finish his attack on Hot Potato, but is far too angry to do so, so instead the Collosoil sits around confused, wallowing in the dirt. Harry decides now would be a good time to be helpful, so Will-o-wisps his all--wait, what? Oh, it seems to activated Neville's Guts, and he wants to show off even more! Celebrating in his usefulness, Harry is then slammed with a Sky Attack from Aerotoxin while his ally gets hit with another Wood Hammer!

Pyroak Protects again, unfortunately leaving his ally in the dust against Harry's Fiery Dance. The strange dance ignites something within the Volcarona, and his special attack is raised again! Monstrous! Aerotoxin dives underground, narrowly avoiding another mighty Aqua Tail, and rises up to attack Harry. Though it was a strong attack, Harry's flaming body seems to have burned the Gliscor, leaving a painful reminder of the contact.

"Aerotoxin is pretty much neutered, so let's concentrate on bringing down Hot Potato. BY THE POWER OF GREYSKULL! (Originally, I was going to try and Encore Hot Potato into Protect and energy KO it, but that seemed really overcomplicated.)"

Harry: Morning Sun -> Flamethrower Hot Potato -> Hurricane Hot Potato; if Aerotoxin Taunts you on Action 1, change that action to Ember + Flamethrower combo Aerotoxin and keep Action 3 the same

Summary:
Neville: Smack Down Aerotoxin -> EARTH SHREDDER (Earthquake + Bulldoze combo) -> Cool Down
Harry: Hurricane Hot Potato -> Protect Neville -> Fiery Dance Hot Potato

(Note that BOTH of the attacks in the combo have their BAPs doubled. :D)

Finally getting revenge for that earlier tormenting, Aerotoxin Taunts the behemoth Neville, evilly grinning and edging her opponent on. Harry brings down a mighty gust of wind, almost a Hurricane to strike Pyroak, even confusing the poor treeizard. and Neville takes the bait, tossing a rock and Smacking Down Aerotoxin, grounding the flying-type. Hot Potato dangerously sways back and forth, before finally calling down a sweet scent, using Aromatherapy to cure his team's ailments, though he still seems quite confused.

Aerotoxin suddenly dives underground, anticipating incoming attacks. It appears that Harry also anticipates some as well, throwing up a Protective barrier over his ally. The battle pauses uneasily for a moment, before Pyroak approaches the shining barrier in front of Collosoil. He stumbles for a moment, and then trips onto his face. Talk about anticlimatic! Aerotoxin Digs up through the ground, still weighed down by the rocks, and then smacks Harry for good measure. Suddenly, Neville unleashes hell upon the innocent arena, pounding the ground expertly in an Earth Shredder attack, shaking everything while Harry safely floats above the chaos. Aerotoxin, Hot Potato, and some of the structural framework are all damaged by the powerful attack!

Aerotoxin shrugs off the stones binding her down for a moment to twirl over to Harry and strike him with some crazy Acrobatics, but Harry retaliates with a powerful Fiery Dance, causing Aerotoxin to faint from heat exhaustion. Hot Potato then strikes his foe with a Solarbeam from the heavens, leaving Collosoil at dangerously low health!

Round 5

Brushing turf and bedrock aside like so much foam packing, The Underminer wades into play to confront his double on the other side of the fiend. A more muscular double, he muses, but not as agile as he. Languishing from the assaults of the standing foes, Hot Potato begins to pull back from the fray ever so slightly, ready to recuperate for now.

Opposite of these two, Harry and Neville make to have a last stand against overwhelming foes, as oft their namesakes did. Will they pull a stunning escape out of this round?

As it turns out, probably not.

Starting the round off strong, The Underminer rains the debris of his tunneling down upon the opposition. Harry, still staying true to his namesake, outright faints as soon as danger becomes apparent, leaving Neville around to take his lumps for him. Rushing out to meet his double, Neville strikes water underground and employs it in his attack, leaving The Underminer with a nasty gash. Hot Potato remains prudent and avoids the forefront of the action, regaining his strength.

As Neville prepares to leap, The Underminer rushes forward to put a stop to attempts against Hot Potato. Bullying Neville further, The Underminer pins him to the ground viciously. Neville digs backwards furiously to escape, but he's not going to get that jump in now. With his retreat covered by his ally, Hot Potato appeals to sunlight to rejuvinate him. Shifts over to his plant portion's food-generation processes, Hot Potato begins to mend as he circles around to the other side of the fray.

Taking one last desperate hit, Neville turns to rush Hot Potato, leaving The Underminer in his dust. Left with nothing to pummel, he sinks in to his tunnel and sulks, keeping his eyes above ground to watch for new victims. Hot Potato, unperturbed by the bull rush, calmly steals the last of Neville's strength, stopping his assault. Neville slides a few feet further towards Hot Potato as he slumps out of his attack.
