Arena: Elite Four Will's Room

Battle area is a platform suspended on large column, with a ring of seemingly endless blackness around the pillar. Boxes of pure psychic energy fly up from the blackess and bounce around the room, and although they do no damage, any pokemon that is not Psychic or Dark type will sometimes flinch at the oncoming energy 15% of the time. Any pokemon that falls into the "void" is teleported 20 feet off of the ground and takes 10 damage upon landing, exempting levitators and flyers. There is limited ceiling space, about 25 feet.

Oooo, eerie arena! Okay, let's get this rolling! Good luck and have fun!

---------------------------------------------------------

As two bold trainers arrive to what appears to be Will's room, they are met with a glorious arena, just perfect for today's match! Will is not here; maybe he's outside getting some girls, who knows. Don't mind that though, as the battles about to begin!

A senile Dokuto (Venipede) and a fierce Blade (Pawniard) are sent out from the left area and the right area, respectively, staring each other down as their greetings. Blade decides to keep the staring down, so much that he inflicts a horrifying Torment upon little Dokuto. That doesn't stop Dokuto from fighting though as he... speedily crawls across the arena and gives Blade a taste of his Twineedles, courtesy of those wonderful poisonous twin tails! Splish! Splat! That must have hurt!

Seeing how his earlier face stare down didn't seem to go so well, Dokuto prepares to slash a projectile-like Psycho Cut toward poor Dokuto. Wait, where's Dokuto anyway? Wasn't he just in front of Dokuto? Look, there he is! He's spinning in a somewhat careful but speedy Rollout around the arena! Heeey! Don't fall off! That's dangerous! In any case though, apparently the psychic cut went swooshing past Dokuto and slashed a wall. I see light now. =) Dokuto was too concentrated in dodging the attack that he couldn't go the full mile of smashing Dokuto, but that's okay... right?

Tired of these games, Blade goes face up with the halted Dokuto (who's not in Rollout now) and slashes a Metal Claw to the face. Fresh bug for lunch, anyone? Ah, but Dokuto not so weak to be resembling a dead bug. He jumps right on top of Blade and launches a delicious Bug Bite attack on Blade's head. That should have done some serious damage! A concussion! But this is Pokemon, and as we can see, they're still alive, fine and well, despite these tragedies.

Lots of boxes of crap float around the room. One says hi. Another one says bye. The other one says post your actions already slowpokes!

Twineedle: The Pokemon stabs the opponent twice with Poisoned stingers.

Attack Power: 3 per hit | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 4 | Effect Chance: 20%

Rollout: The pokemon rolls into a tight ball and repeatedly rams itself into the foe, doing three (3) more damage and costing one (1) more energy each time. The initial Attack Power is raised to 8 if the user used Defense Curl earlier in the match (but the boost is reset when the pokemon uses Ice Ball).

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 9 | Effect Chance: --

Psycho Cut: The Pokemon uses its mental energy to form a sharp, slicing wind. The shear of the attack gives it a high critical hit ratio.

Attack Power: 7 | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 5 | Effect Chance: --

Metal Claw: The Pokémon’s hands glow white and become as sturdy as Steel, it then slashes at the opponent with arms crossed. There is a chance the Pokemon's claws may maintain the toughness of steel and raise Attack by one (1) stage.

Attack Power: 5 | Accuracy: 95% | Energy Cost: 4 | Effect Chance: 10%

Temperantia's turn!

Ok seeing as I was a bit confused there, ("It was a Pawniard, not a Ralts you twit!" shouts Lenneth from the background) I won't be thinking Bug attacks are super effective this round, though they are still our best bet it seems...
Ok Dokuto, we're gonna mix it up a bit this round. First, Double Team to confuse his sword-demon like creature... thing. Then Bite him like a Bug; finally, leave him with an ear splitting (and defense lowering) Screech for the next round.

Double Team -> Bug Bite -> Screech

Heh, moves gladly accepted. First, while he's double teaming it up, use Rock Polish to outspeed him, then use Metal Claw on one of the clones/him. Then, regardless of whether you hit him or not, finish it up with a Swords Dance, which should put me at +6 at the end of the round.

(Remember, Temp, you can't change your errors now... Muahahaha...)

---------------------------------------------------------

Welcome back everyone to Saturday Night... oops, wrong channel. Anyway, let's start an exciting Round 2 of Temp vs PFK!

Blade decides to polish his sharp "rocks", making him slimmer, sexier, hotter, you name it. Looks like he just dropped a lot of rocks off his tummy! Dokuto? Oh, what's he gonna do? Tickle Blade on his tummy? Naah, looks like he's interested in something else: a Double Team (1 clone)! Which one's real now?

Running through the arena, claws on the ready, Blade couldn't care less on whether or not the enemy is fake or not and slashes a "Dokuto" with a hot blade of metal! Jackpot! Looks like that was the real one! Blood marks are visible... even dripping! What an ugly sight, but Dokuto attempts to shrug off the pain and strike with a Bug Bite assault upon Blade's arm, in a terrible attempt of tearing it apart. Well, Blade's a Steel-type for a reason; he's definitely not having that arm pulled out anytime soon as he throws Dokuto off his arm onto the ground. Looks like Dokuto landed just fine on the floor though!

As both contenders step away from each other, they seem to have something different in mind. Blade tips-toes there and here, with a war-like Swords Dance, increasing his offensive presence in the arena. However, Dokuto has a Screech in store for the mighty Blade. Right at his ears, Dokuto BUUUUUUZZZZZZZZzzzzzzes like an annoying hag and lowers Blade's guard down, but... something very very interesting happens right as Dokuto screeches. Blade's Defiant ability activates and, oh my, just pumps him into uber status big time! Arms flexing, blades sharper than ever, and legs even bigger than before! Watch what you're doing buggy! You may not be Tormented anymore, but this could be your last breath on this arena! Or not... if you're sneaky enough.

There are plenty of cubes floating around, but they seem kinda broken right now? Maybe next time.

Screech: The Pokemon screeches harshly at its opponent. The pitch of the screech is so high that it breaks down parts of the opponent's body, lowering their Defense by two (2) stages for the next two rounds. This move will fail if the opponent cannot hear the screech.

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: 85% | Energy Cost: 6 | Effect Chance:--

Double Team: The Pokemon rapidly moves back and forth between several locations, creating several illusionary clones. The clones make it harder for the opponent to figure out which Pokemon is the real Pokemon, increasing the user's Evasion by one stage. Double Team dissipates once the real Pokemon is hit with an attack. The Pokemon may create up to four clones, however this will take extra energy.

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 4 per clone | Effect Chance: --

Rock Polish: The Pokemon focuses energy around its body, glowing red or white. The energy allows much freer movement, increasing the user's Speed by two (2) stages.

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 7 | Effect Chance: --

Swords Dance: The pokemon performs a graceful, spinning dance of sorts, increasing their fighting prowess by boosting Attack two (2) stages. The spinning action can deflect some attacks, though some damage will still be taken.

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 7 | Effect Chance: --

PFK's turn!

We'll have to be a bit more careful from now on, Venipede. First, Protect to well, protect yourself from Faint Attack. Then Double Team to try and dodge that Cut. Finally, a Bug Bite will do while he's busy playing with rocks. I'm so sorry I got you in this position...

Round 3, reporting for duty!

At one corner of the room, there's an extremely jacked up Blade waiting to terminate little pests such as Dokuto. Ah, where did Blade go? Looks like he's already in the destroying mood and faints into an attack upon poor Dokuto! Was it a success? ... No! I mean, it wasn't! Dokuto successfully Protected himself from the attack with a wall of safe energy. Nice one!

With his quicker Speed and mightiness, Blade swings his blade and whips out a HUGE Psycho Cut that hits Dokuto point-blank on the face and blows him across the arena. He bumps right onto the wall and starts sliding down slowly... slowly... into a ninja fast Double Team! With his clone, Dokuto manages to successfully jump back onto the arena with a handful of healthy health left.

Feeling relaxed and satisfied with the past attack, Blade whips out a layer of rocks that stealthily surround the arena. Just perfect for a blade like him. But as he was doing that, two nimbly fast Dokuto rush out for revenge and double Bug Bite his balls... hard. That was certainly payback for the cut back there! One didn't do any damage though... an apparent clone!

Cubes no be flinchin' today it seems. Did Will shut them off or something? Next round though, yo.

Faint Attack: The Pokémon fades into the shadows and senses the opponent’s energy, striking them once it finds their location. The attack has perfect timing and cannot miss.

Attack Power: 6 | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 4 Effect Chance: -- |

Psycho Cut: The Pokemon uses its mental energy to form a sharp, slicing wind. The shear of the attack gives it a high critical hit ratio.

Attack Power: 7 | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 5 | Effect Chance: --

Stealth Rock: The Pokemon thrusts rocks at the opponent that split apart and set themselves at the corners of the field. Each time a Pokemon switches in, the rocks will become active ans smash the opponent from all sides before setting down in their corners again. Rapid Spin or Defog will disperse the rocks immediately. Multiple layers of rocks cannot be laid.

Attack Power: 9-resists Rock | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 12 | Effect Chance: --
12-neutral to Rock
15-weak to Rock

Protect: The Pokemon erects a barrier that Protects them from every direct and indirect attack. Only field attacks can bypass Protect. When struck by a powerful attack, the Pokemon releases a lot of energy to prevent damage. Protect fails if used on successive actions.

Attack Power: -- | Accuracy: -- | Energy Cost: 7 + Damage Blocked/3 | Effect Chance: --

Bug Bite: The Pokemon chomps down on the opponent. If there are any berries in the field or on the opponent, it can consume them and receive the benefits of their effect.

Attack Power: 6 | Accuracy: 100% | Energy Cost: 4 | Effect Chance: --

Temp's turn! Boosts/drops have wore off.

Now we're back on track, Doku! Keep close and that pressure on with a nice Bug Bite. Then, since it never hurts, create another Double Team, and follow it up with another Bug Bite. If he tries any funny business and uses Faint Attack, Protect on that turn, but only do that once.

Bug Bite-> Double Team -> Bug Bite
Replace action for Protect if Blade uses Faint Attack but only one turn

Heh, let's finish what we started. First, use Swords Dance while he comes to bite us, then, as he jumps back, use Faint Attack to prevent another clone from being created! Finally, finish it up with a powerful Sucker Punch as he comes to bite us again.

A wild Round 4 appeared!

Missing his +6 boosts from last round, Blade attempts to grab his thirst for blood with a mystical Swords Dance, but that's only 1/3 the power! As he's dancing, Dokuto and his clone ride around the arena and jump for a hungry twin Bug Bite! The dancing of the blades injured the real Dokuto a bit and dissolved the fake clone into nothingness, but he got a full bite in at least!

Now ready to dish out some major damage, Blade goes into an offensive approach and utilizes a Faint Attack technique! He hides into the shadows and strikes! However, Dokuto predicted the move, despite its "never-miss" status, and safely Protects from the assault. Nice save there.

As he shields himself from the last Faint Attack, Dokuto feels the need to attack back and bites down on his jaw, ready for biting. Right when he's about to attack though, he is met with a swift Sucker Punch, made by Blade, to the back in deep surprise! Dokuto doesn't step down, though, and retaliates with his mad Bug Bite attack on the leg and chews on as much as possible before he is kicked out and back on the ground, groaning for more blood and skin ripping.

PFK's turn!

Ok Dokuto, we can out maneouver our opponent this time, I know it! First, we'll use your naturally lower Speed stat to use Double Team to create 2 clones after he uses Faint Attack. Follow this up by having both you and the clones go in for a Bug Bite shifting around in the process like a Shell Game to confuse him further. Finally, Protect against that Faint Attack and hope your clones don't dissipate from a blocked move.

Double Team (2) -> Bug Bite while shifting with clones-> Protect

Round 5... what a draggin' round...

Keen and prepared, and ready to slice and dice, Blade gives the round his lordly presence with a swift Faint Attack upon Dokuto's face, scratching pieces of his skin into a bloody mess. By then, Dokuto creates a Double Team of two clones, all with scars and blood spewing out of them. Which one's which?

Blade thinks he knows the answer to that question and slashes a Psycho Cut through one of the clones, and... POOF! NOPE, WASN'T IT! Dokuto and his other clone make good use of this opening and go on for a frenzy cross double Bug Bite on the face! Blade's eyeballs could only fluster in confusion... left, right, left, right, until the moment he was bitten. Nibbles and nibbles of pain and misery are becoming quite apparent on Blade's face, but he's not down yet!

Tired of this crap, Blade goes with his old reliable favorite Faint Attack and attempts to lie the pain in Dokuto. This time, he's VERY SURE which one's the real one and attacks! However, Dokuto, being the stalling bastard he is, Protects just in the nick of time and avoids any further damage done to his lovely skin.

Round 6, a fight to the bitter end...

Both contenders know that they're both weary and exhausted greatly, but still they continue their deathmatch. Blade prepares to faint into the darkness... and attack from behind of Dokuto! This attack seemed to have pin-point the real Dokuto! With almost the last of his energy, Dokuto Protects himself from any harm from the attack, though it looks like he's almost out of air! Aha, so it was the real Dokuto! Looks like the other one is just a waste of space!

Knowing that he must attack, Dokuto goes on the offensive and tries a Bug Bite attack at the shady Blade, who looks like he's not doing anything in retaliation? Is he just going to take that? One second, and... wait, where did Blade go? From behind! There! Looks like Blade feigned weakness and beat down Dokuto with a powerful Sucker Punch! At long last, Dokuto reaches his peak and falls onto the ground, all stretched out like the fainted bug he is.
