Look guys! New trainers are fighting! One of them has good taste in starting Pokemon, but I won't say which...

Sonnet starts off strong with a crushing X-Scissor, chopping onto poor PG with the force of a big...pair...of scissors. PG retaliates by Taunting Sonnet into a blind rage. Not like attack moves aren't doing enough already.

PG fires off a Confuse Ray, while Sonnet tries to Protect itself. But he can't calm down enough to do it, and is inflicted with Severe Confusion!

Sonnet's bad luck continues as he tries to throw an attack out, but instead hits himself in confusion! Finally free to do what he wants, PG smashes the poor little Joltik with a powerful Psyshock to end the round.

Psychicae, we did pretty well for our first round, we hold an incredibly tiny lead, so lets try to blow it open this round! He seems to know what he's doing, but so do we!

We need to soften up those blows! Will-o-wisp should do the trick! Next, lets Psyshock him for some more damage, it's not much, but it's the best we've got right now Finish off with another Psyshock!

The round was not kind to us Sonnet, but the battle is still fresh, and there's still some space on the paper to write up some tricks. You are taunted though, and that will hamper our ability to be tricky. Do not give up hope though! We can still hammer our foe.

First action you are still confused, i am afraid to say, but if you can focus, slash at Ralts with your X-Scissor! After that turn however you are free to demolish the little enemy. Your rage created by taunt should be released into your attacks! Frighten that psychic with a Bug Bite and another X-Scissor. Show no mercy Sonnet, this match can be yours despite his successful set-up!

Alright, welcome back! Sonnet starts off strong, smashing through its confusion and delivering a powerful X-Scissor onto PG. The little Psychic-type retaliates with a ghostly Will-o-Wisp, Burning Sonnet! Ooooooh....

Sonnet, the pure essence of dgaf, chomps down on PG with a Bug Bite. Going on the attack, PG gets its brain waves going with a nice Psyshock.

But Sonnet still won't let up, hitting PG with a burned X-Scissor. PG counters with another Psyshock to end the round.

That taunt prevents you from protecting against the deadly combonation. But he needs time to charge up his psyshock! How about you pull off a combonation as well? Yes, it is a great idea! Both combos are negative priority, and since you are naturally faster, your attack will hit first! Pummel the Ralts with a Scythe Scissor, and that should end his match!

i'm very proud of you Sonnet! Taking down Ralts was tougher than expected, but you pulled through. this next match-up isn't the best, but it's nothing we can't handle. Her unique typing makes our bug and poison attacks nuetral, and our eletric attacks are resisted! but you can still mess with this tainted fruit; rot the pulpy thing even further!

As the newcomer HS the Necturine flies onto the field, Sonnet greets it with some disgusting Gastro Acid. HS replies by throwing down some Toxic Spikes, getting ready for some long-term destruction.

Sonnet now goes on the attack with a quick Faint Attack, coming from the shadows to ram into the hardly-affected HS. The Necturine also launches an assault with Psychic, ramming Sonnet roughly into the ground.

Then the exact same thing happens again. Why do I even bother writing flavor here? Geez.
