Doubles OU Ruleset:
Endless Battle Clause: Players cannot use any moveset on any Pokémon capable of intentionally causing an endless battle, thus:
- A Pokémon may not carry the move Recycle, and hold a Leppa Berry in conjuction with Heal Pulse, Milk Drink, Moonlight, Morning Sun,Recover, Roost, Slack Off, Soft-Boiled or Wish.
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Pain Split
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while carrying Recycle and Fling
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while using the ability Trace.
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while using the move Assist.
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while using the move Recycle, or the ability Harvest.
- A Pokémon may not hold a Leppa Berry while using Trick, Switcheroo or Bestow.
- A Pokémon may not have the ability Magician and use Skill Swap.

Evasion Clause: Players cannot use the moves Double Team or Minimize. Players may not use a Pokémon with the ability Sand Veil.

Moody Clause: Players cannot use a Pokémon while using the Moody ability.

OHKO Clause: Players cannot use the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill or Sheer Cold.

Species Clause: Players cannot have two Pokémon with the same Pokédex number on the same team.

Welcome to the the "girafarig if instead of a line it split off in a triangular formation" cup! This tournament here is your typical 3-man team tournament, but with a twist: every round, the team is assigned a single Pokemon to be incorporated into their teams.

Specific rules:
  • This is a 3-man team tournament, similar to Dugtrio Cup in concept but not in practice hopefully
  • Every round, battlers of a team must use the Pokemon assigned to their team for that round.
  • I'll do my best to ensure that the assigned pokemon will not skew the battle into one team's favor; that being said, opposing teams' pokemon will be of similar viability, and teams will only get a mega if both opponents have a mega. However, keep in mind that I'm only assigning just one pokemon, not a whole core.
  • The Pokemon that is given to your team is indicated by the sprite next to the team name in the bracket.
  • Given Pokemon will change every round.
  • Battles are best of one
  • Battles are Doubles OU
  • When one group gains two or more victories over the other group, the first group will win.
  • Exactly similar teams cannot be shared by team members (cannot have all the same pokemon)

How to sign-up:
  • Make a signup post which specifies the two players you will be fighting alongside and your team name. The other two players should like your post as a method of confirmation
  • An individual player may sign up as a "free agent" where you will either be assigned to a team in need of an extra player or in a team of other free agents
