You're still reeling from the loss of your beloved bug Greed, and it looks like you are set to lose another bug, and the first loss you might suffer of the original three you brought in to the forest. Thusly, Sirius quickly hits Metang to try to stop him attacking, and sure enough he flinches, so that Armstrong can hit him with another tackle while Bugoff chills out. Finally, the Eelektross sends yet another Thunderbolt at Sirius. Then, Sirius decides to protect himself again against an attack that isn't coming, so after letting off a final earthquake at Metang, Eelektross and Metang try to finish off Bugoff, but fortunately Armstrong just finished off Metang before it can knock out Bugoff, leaving the odds very much stacked in your favour once again.

Eelektross: Discharge + Discharge ~ Cool Down
IF Parahax A1, use Thunderbolt (Bugoff) A2

You have finally managed to get rid of the opposing Metang, and you can see the end in sight. You start chucking statuses at Eelektross, but just as you start to get them on, it takes one look over at Metang's body and unleashes a huge discharge of electricity all around the clearing, narrowly missing you but using all of his remaining energy to brutally electrify all of your Pokemon, knocking out Bugoff and paralysing Armstrong. This leaves both of your opponents out cold, but having taken heavy losses, you look like you're in trouble, with only two Pokemon left. However, you can now move on, so you start to trudge off, still moving in the direction of the cave.

After Metang and Eelektrik are defeated, a hidden corridor opens in the back. You travel through and enter a new area. The cove appears to have a covered section undetectable by air, but you can still see sunlight coming in from the sides. This whole area is still, and it looks serene.

"Impressive work." The voice tells you, though more menacingly. "Let's see how you fare against the element of surprise."

Without warning, an Abra grasps Sirius and both of them vanish. The serene atmosphere returns to that of the damp cave you had just been in. As you work out the illusion, you can't help but wonder what befell your other Pokemon. You estimate it will take two rounds to find it.

Abra: Encore ~ Shadow Ball ~ Shadow Ball

The battle begins, but as Sirius Yawns weirdly at Abra, it starts cheering and clapping wildly, so that for some reason Sirius feels so good about himself that he just yawns again, which takes so much exertion that he just collapses from energy loss, unconscious. This gives you the chance to catch up with your one remaining Pokemon, ready to fight for your life against this demonic Abra.

So you chuck a pair of Pokeballs, and neither of them catch. We'll just call that the end of the round (?) and you can start again. Oh, and it falls asleep for the second ball, which doesn't help, but you do get to make use of the sleep one more time if you want.

Catch Rate: (1 + (240-160)*7*2*1)/240/256 = 1.82%
RNG Roll for Catching: 12

Catch Rate: (1 + (240-160)*7*4*2)/240/256 = 7.29%

Teleport ~ Counter ~ Counter

Ugh, you think, facepalming like a boss. I knew those catch rate tricks. How sirry. Nonetheless, you keep going, spamming electric moves, and it just launches them right back at you, which unfortunately means that come the end of the round, it overcomes paralysis and does just enough to KO Armstrong, leaving you without a Pokemon. You run, crying, back to the paddock where you left your friends, swearing never to come back again to this dreadful place which took your fabulous Pokemon from you. But don't cry too much, you come out with reasonable spoils, and a few new Pokemon to boot. Better luck next time!

And so the approvers can see why all of my counters come from, here they are, broken down:
Doran Dragon: 5 [Lackeys] + 4 [Spinarak Trap] + 5 [Nest] + 0.25 * 2 ["Spider Vein", "Fish, Maw"] = 14.5
MrcRanger97: 5 [Lackeys] + 2 [Spinarak Trap] + 6 [Nest] + 6 [Lackeys] + 3 [Abra Trap] + 0.25 * 3 ["Spider Vein", "Fish, Maw", "Meditative Pause"] = 22.75

14.5 + 22.75 = 37.25 BT
