TIMELESS TOWER

Timeless Tower is an unfathomably large structure seated on an impregnable cliffside. The tower's main spire looms over its entrance hundreds of feet into the air. Bridges extend from the main tower to three separate spires, each on an island pillar of immense density. The ocean roars violently below, beckoning you to stay away.

The bridge to the east leads to a tower frozen over in a massive pillar of ice. The sunlight glistens against its reflective surface, yet no melt can be shown. You look cold just staring at it.

The bridge to the west leads to a craggy pillar that seems to be etched from the very earth itself, impossibly dense and immovable.

A third tower can be seen behind the structure on your map, but it is eclipsed by the sheer enormity of the main spire. It is made of the sturdiest looking metal you have ever seen, an unnaturally purely refined solidity that shares the brilliant sheen of the icy tower and the sheer density of the crag.

As you go up to the entrance, the drawbridge on the main gate opens and falls with a loud crash onto the only access to the mainland. On either side of the bridge are statues of Golurk holding up massive spears. As you enter the main atrium, a massive statue of Golem rolled up into a ball takes the centre of the arena. You look around the room and see exits your east and west going to the towers, stairs built into the floor going down presumably to the tower behind the main spire, and a massive door with 3 slots in the gate. Depictions of the gate are on the left and right, and show 3 stones being placed in the gate. Both mosaics are completely sand-coloured except for the stones. One is an azure blue, one is a dull brown, and the other a shimmering silver. You attempt to push the gate, but it is so massively heavy you feel tired just pushing on it. It will not budge.

What could this all mean? And where do you go from here?

Your Options are as follows...
Enter Ice Spire
Enter Rock Crag
Enter Iron Dungeon
Enter Heaven's Ascent, which you two can't do at the moment

Iron Dungeon - Still Pall

You decide that you want to head north to the metal pillar, feeling that it will be the bast dungeon to start with, so you go inside.

You instantly have to put up with dullness & endless staircases as soon as you're inside & you find it to be rather annoying. Eventually, through the staircases & whatnot, you come across a chamber that feels silent. You see that it is empty, & carelessly make your way inside. Not as soon as you make your way inside, you are instantly attacked by two intricate mechanisms, i.e. Klink. These two are not friendly & attack you, forcing you to send in your three Pokemon. It's time to duel, it seems... (Random BGM goes here)

Boom Headshot. The Klink continue to prove why they are the easiest Lackeys to beat in Timeless Tower, & you make sure this isn't an exception, plowing through the opposition as if they were...well...Lackeys...Issue your actions.

It seems you did make a bit of a miscalculation, as the Klink survived Chimera's first attack to retaliate with one powerful beam of telekinetic energy, striking criticallly & dealing a lot of damage while your other mons chilled. Nevertheless, Chimera finished off the remaining Klink in his next attack, but you didn't exactly get out of the battle unscathed. You pick up a Steel Gem, (The other was technically consumed) & you move on in your "dry" run.

Iron Dungeon - Gear Golem

Some more Staircases await you as you struggle to make it up some of them. Eventually, you come across a very strange chamber. While the rest of the area seem bland for the most part, a very intricate design has been placed here. A massive humanoid contraption stands at the centre of the room. What this represents you have no clue. It doesn't really resemble any person or Pokemon you know of. In any case the room has no apparent exit, but the gear golem has several levers in front of it. Upon review, the room looks a bit round on the edges, not like the square steel structures you've been used to. There are 3 levers, left, right, and centre placed about 2 metres in front on the golem. You hear clanging behind you, forward seems like the best part. Which lever shall you pull?

a) Pull the lever on the left.
b) Pull the lever in the centre.
c) Pull the lever on the right.

The gear golem shifts to the right, revealing a cache of items on pedestals. They could be booby-trapped. Unfortunately the golem has stopped moving, and there's still two other levers. You try them, but they are stuck. Looks like you'll need to chance it. The items are Ether, Metal Coat, & Normal Gem. What will you do?

c) Grab them all

Iron Dungeon - Scrapyard

So, you end up going through more staircases...When is this going to come to an end...Eventually, you see light at the end of the tunnel, & you enter this next room. Looks like you have come across an abandoned scrapyard. As you look around there seems to be little of value, however you imagine there's a few abandoned appliances here. You spot an array of broken down appliances. You could probably take one with you, it seems a Rotom used to inhabit it and it has enough energy to fit in one of your Pokeballs, at least until you leave. So, what shall you do?

Iron Dungeon - Iron Maiden

Unfortunately, more staircases await you as you struggle to surmount them. You can feel that you're getting higher up the tower at this point & eventually you come across another chamber. What you enter, is a bland, iron-coloured area with few defining features. This whole tower appears cold, hollow, and heavy, and this room is no exception. You come down the end of the hall to a dead end and find yourself frustrated. You look around and notice how wide the place is. This is a hall and must be at least 5 metres wide. The size of the place begins to make your heart sink. Sadly, the only thing left at the end of this hallway is a 3 metre tall statue of a woman in full battle dress. She holds a shield and a sword, but both look like they can be taken. The expression on the statue's face is entirely wooden, it appears she'll be displeased with any decision. Both objects look extraordinarily heavy but maybe you can use one of them, which one will you choose?

a) Grab the Sword!
b) Grab the Shield!

Iron Dungeon - Iron Maiden

You decide to pick up the shield, thinking that Defence is better than Offence, Defence is the best Offence, whatever, you get the idea. Well, initially, nothing happens & you assume it is safe, so you move on, but your big, bulky Shield makes it difficult to see & you walk straight into a Pokemon. The Pokemon was unhappy & swiped at the shield, breaking it in an instant sending you hurtling back. As you crash into the hard, solid floor, the Pokemon advances & you get to see what it is for the first time. It was a Klang. The Klang was unhappy & got ready for the kill, but before it does so, you send out your Pokemon to your assistance. Klang thought this was unfair, so it calls out something & a Mawile comes along to assist. The Battle was on! Also, Mawile uses Intimidate as well, just for measure...

I'm pretty sure you mean Klang...Also, I forgot Intimidate...This has no impact on the outcome of this round, however.

Things don't really go your way this update...Both Fire Blasts miss, Klang deals massive damage to Chimera, things simply didn't go your way. At least you took out Klang...Issue your actions.

Iron Dungeon - Steel Forest

Upon leaving the Iron Maiden, you go through...well...more staircases & at the end of it all, you come across a forest. This forest is the oddest structure you've ever seen. No, it's not the fact you're looking at a bunch of trees and grass in the middle of what to this point has been a bland, lifeless dungeon. It's more the fact that every single trunk, branch, and blade is made out of solid steel. It's still flexible enough for some semblance of wind to impact it, but otherwise this is the oddest combination of nature and hard metal you've ever seen.

Over to the side you see a thorny patch of grass blocking the way to the exit on the other side. It appears to be a nest of some sort, but the only other way around requires you to go through densely packed trees. Neither path looks safe, and as you look around you can here the inhabitants of the area swarming around you. Time to make a decision. So, which route do you go through?

a) Go through the thorny briar.
b) Go through the dense woods.

Iron Dungeon - Steel Forest

Ignoring the dense woods, you decide that going through the thorny briar is the best option to take. As you do, your legs are immediately pricked and as you try to move forward, the sheer weight causes you to fall over. Mercifully you catch yourself and no harm is done, but as you turn around you are accosted by three Ferroseed. They seem young and they're just doing what they've been taught, but nonetheless they're too heavy and you must get them off to continue. Looks like you are going to have to battle your way through this one...
