Gengar (Maltia) Female
Nature:
Timid
Type:
Ghost: STAB; brief intangibility that nullifies Normal and Fighting-type attacks. Can move through walls for a brief period of time but must remain in motion. Superior senses in low light and inside dark buildings. Have no vision reduction in hazes.
Poison: STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens/haze uninhibited. Able to use Wrap and Bind without losing focus. Superior senses in urban settings.

Abilities:
Levitate:
Type: Trait
This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

Timeless Tower:

Timeless Tower is an unfathomably large structure seated on an impregnable cliffside. The tower's main spire looms over its entrance hundreds of feet into the air. Bridges extend from the main tower to three separate spires, each on an island pillar of immense density. The ocean roars violently below, beckoning you to stay away.

The bridge to the east leads to a tower frozen over in a massive pillar of ice. The sunlight glistens against its reflective surface, yet no melt can be shown. You look cold just staring at it.

The bridge to the west leads to a craggy pillar that seems to be etched from the very earth itself, impossibly dense and immovable.

A third tower can be seen behind the structure on your map, but it is eclipsed by the sheer enormity of the main spire. It is made of the sturdiest looking metal you have ever seen, an unnaturally purely refined solidity that shares the brilliant sheen of the icy tower and the sheer density of the crag.

As you go up to the entrance, the drawbridge on the main gate opens and falls with a loud crash onto the only access to the mainland. On either side of the bridge are statues of Golurk holding up massive spears. As you enter the main atrium, a massive statue of Golem rolled up into a ball takes the center of the arena. You look around the room and see exits your east and west going to the towers, stairs built into the floor going down presumably to the tower behind the main spire, and a massive door with 3 slots in the gate. Depictions of the gate are on the left and right, and show 3 stones being placed in the gate. Both mosaics are completely sand-colored except for the stones. One is an azure blue, one is a dull brown, and the other a shimmering silver. You attempt to push the gate, but it is so massively heavy you feel tired just pushing on it. It will not budge.

What could this all mean? And where do you go from here?

Happy to finally reach the iron-wrought gates of Timeless Tower, you peer up at the massive door for a second. Shaking your head sadly, you turn instead to the glittering tower of ice. As you cross the bridge, you feel the weather becoming colder and colder until you can barely stand it. Maltia and Zakireth loom beside you like ancestral spirits, shyly looking about their surroundings. Tahlzara is a bit more playful, running forth and occasionally throwing a piece of ice back at you.

After what seems to be forever, you step off the bridge and take one last look behind you. The end of the bridge, just feet away from you, seems quite wide, but as your eyes follow it back, the sides of the bridge eventually taper to a point. Seeing that it's pointless to continue searching for the other end of the bridge, you turn back around and wander around the spire, impressed that the ice seems to be hard as diamond; in fact, it doesn't even crack when you throw a rock at it. You seem doubtful that a mystical force created this tower, but there seems to be no other reason.

As you step forward, ice encases you on either side, leaving only a straight path for you to walk on. Tahlzara gradually grows quieter and quieter until the only audible noises are the soft footsteps of you and your Pokemon. You look about warily, certain that danger is lurking about.

As you pass through the hall of ice, you find yourself in a chamber of sorts; a small room with icicles hanging off the ceiling and not much else. You hear a melodic tinkling of ice, and instinctively turn your head in that direction. You see none other than a Vanillite and a Snorunt gazing your way, certain that you are an intruder to the spire.

MK Ultra

Excited that you can finally embark on your journey, you dash off eagerly towards the west bridge, Atlas forging ahead, while Mysterio and Kraken follow along warily. You seem to see some construction equipment littered about at the end of the bridge, and you find it unusual that there appears to be not much interesting at the base of the crag. In fact, it seems to be completely abandoned and desolate.

Looking behind you, you see the center in which you came from far away, a speck on the horizon. Turning back around, you glance at the sides of the rocky crag, staring in awe at the size and surprising intricacy of the hollows dotted about. You seem doubtful that humans could've created this majestic pillar of solid rock.

To your left and right are rock walls that go up as high as your eyes can see; behind you is the bridge that you came from. There really isn't much you can do but press on forwards. Your Pokemon follow you in a slightly tighter formation, looking about for any signs of danger.

As you progress past the first area, you hear some Pokemon stirring. A sudden tumble of rocks on your left startle you, and you swing your head around to determine the source. It appears that the denizens of this Rock Crag aren't taking your intruding upon their home lightly.

Hey, it might be a good idea for you to read the Capture section again. Each round in TLR is comprised of either one of two things: a) combat orders for the entire round, or b) throwing Pokeball(s) - the latter can be used multiple times in one round in order to save time if you so desire. This means that you cannot combine combat actions AND throwing a Pokeball in one round; moreover, since throwing a Pokeball takes up a round (they do not attack when they break free, but they do gain twelve energy - once they reach 100 energy, they get a free round to attack your Pokemon), you cannot issue orders for your Pokemon while throwing a ball. I'll re-ref this once you re-order, since your actions right now are completely illegal.

Rock Crag
Rumble Hall

You come across an area of the crag that is more unstable than the others. Earthquakes seem to randomly average this area, causing you to lose your footing, but aside from physical movement, the area seems entirely unscathed. It's entirely possible this could be the work of a Pokemon rather than an actual feature of the area. In any case you can see down two paths, one where a few small rocks rumble visibly, while the other is calm. You surmise the quakes are coming from that area.

It seems as if Atlas wants to enter the quakes and investigate this source of earthquakes, but Mysterio seems to object to that, wanting to stay behind and wait for a while. Kraken opts to do something different as well; he seems to think that you should just move on. With all three of your Pokemon at crossroads, it's up to you to decide; where to go?

Player Options
a) enter the quakes and inspect what's going on
b) continue onwards and ignore the quakes
c) stay and see if something happens

K sorry, saw someone else do that, guess i shouldve read the whole thing and saw it was illegal.

Ice Spire
Glacial Cavern

After quickly dispatching the Lackeys, you move on. Amidst the slippery ice, you see a straight path that seems to be the correct way to go. Unfortunately, some of the nastier denizens of the Ice Spire aren't feeling altruistic today, as they summon a gust of icy wind that buffets you and your Pokemon away from the path; the slippery ice makes it near impossible for you to maintain traction. In the end, the winds prove too much for you to handle, and you huddle close, waiting for whatever other challenge springs up.

You enter a gigantic frozen cavern and cannot believe what awaits before you. The cavern stretches on seemingly forever, but it appears it only has one denizen: a Mamoswine. It isn't happy you entered its territory, and quickly seals yo under an avalanche. Only one of your Pokemon will be able to give chance.

Player Options
Choose one Pokemon to approach the Mamoswine.
Issue actions against the Mamoswine.

Note: As this is a Rare encounter, combat will remain Singles until you either catch it or your chosen Pokemon is dispatched by it. Also, remember to order three actions, since this is Singles combat.

Inside you find the quakes were not being generated by a wild Pokemon, but rather the only piece of machinery you've yet to find in this place. It looks like they tried to excavate the area, and got approximately nowhere. Their base camp remains, and you find
three (3) Pokeballs among the remnants. You have no idea where they went, but apparently the machine was expendable. It looks like it still has a
Cell Battery attached as well. You pocket the items and quickly move on; there's no time to waste.

Your skittishness about the Vista takes a turn for the worst, as you round the bend and come face to face with a Magcargo. Rock Crag
Petrified Forest

The Petrified Forest is a desolate arena full of trees encased in magma long ago that have since solidified into solid rock. Although a light to the outside world still shines through, the place is so dusty and gloomy that the very sight of it depresses your spirit.

As you enter, you can't help but think you're being watched. On a pedestal there appears to be a bottle of Fresh Water for no explicable reason, with a small tree on one side. It's possible the item could heal one of your Pokemon for 50 HP. Do you go for it? You also see an exit going further into the treacherous tower.

Player Options
a) grab the Fresh Water
b) ignore it and run for the exit
