ITT: People realise that dual runs still exist. Yes after five months or so, people finally decide to take on The Planet's Fury, ready for whatever is about to come their way. It will be long, it will be loaded with save points, it will be loaded with frustration and it will be loaded with LouisCyphre touches. Both are aiming for one goal. Will they reach it or will they crumble faster than a target of an Aegislash's Shadow Ball? Well we will find out... when the planet unleashes its fury on these two brave souls!

THE PLANET'S FURY



Arcane in architecture and strange in setting, the Planet's Fury is a place of legend and myth seated in the bustling down-town of the artificial island city of Alto Mare.

Its origins are as murky as the waters it sits on. Some time ago, a storm caused a massive evacuation of the city; inundating it and preventing anyone from entering for weeks on end. After the water receded and the clouds cleared, this structure was found to have forced its way up from underneath the tides and the foundations of the city. Resourceful as they were, the people simply chose to rebuild around it and now it is a mundane part of the Alto Mare skyline.

Rumourmongers speak of guardians that cruise the night skies, keeping the peace in Alto Mare and tie these stories to the appearance of the Planet's Fury. It is said that they guard something within the walls of the alien construct, and that the doors will open only to those whom they wish to see.

The Planet's Fury - Bizarre Foyer

This room is opulently furnished, if... strange. Physics do not seem to work quite right here—furniture floats freely or rests on walls or ceilings. You can pass through without any ill effects or strange interactions, but not everything around you follows the same rules you do. A Seadra swims through the air freely. A Haunter flit from painting to painting as if they were open windows. They turn to you and move as if to aggress. You get ready to respond, hopeful that your attacks will function correctly.

The Planet's Fury - Bizarre Foyer

After mega evolving, the Gardevoir gets to work hammering the Haunter with brainwaves as the Lackeys attacked, the Haunter firing a bomb of unsanitary waste at the Gardevoir and the Seadra unleashing a wave of dirty water that has blinded a couple of Pokémon. The Sylveon then starts to use the power of brainwaves only for a couple of hecklers that you cannot see to interrupt:

"What is this stupid foyer anyway?"
"I guess it is a crazy foyer with brainwaves flying everywhere!"
"Well I guess if we are loud enough, they might stop!"
"DO-HO-HO-HO-HOH!"

This left the Sylveon confused and unable to do anything as the Clefable and Gardevoir hammered the Haunter with more mental assaults. The Haunter then chucks its Flame Orb at the Sylveon to burn it as the Seadra fires off a chilling gust of ice that deals damage to the team. The Sylveon then regroups to take out the Haunter with a ball of shadow as the Clefable caps off the round by paralysing the Seadra with a surge of electricity.

The Planet's Fury - Bizarre Foyer

As the Togekiss took in sunlight, the Skill Frog summoned grass to trip over the Seadra. The Gallade then attempted to use Leaf Blade only to trip over a rock and fall. Damn misplaced rocks. The Seadra then retaliated with a blinding wave of water that blinded the Skill Frog a little, while the Dragonair unleashed a gust of ice that only managed to hit Skill Frog. The Togekiss then unleashes solar energy that deals massive damage to the Seadra while the Skill Frog fired a beam of ice at the Dragonair to deal some damage. The Gallade finally gets his act together and then whacks the Seadra with a fist of electricity... only to hit a poison barb and become poisoned. It still hit though. The Seadra then unleashed a gust of ice that misses the Gallade but hits the other two as the Togekiss finishes off the Seadra with a wave of electricity. Now without the partner the Dragonair proceeds to use Surf... but there is no water source. Maybe Its_A_Random should have ordered Incinerate instead... @_@

The Gardevoir kicks off by sending a bolt of lightning at the Seadra which strikes critically as the Sylveon refreshes herself, curing herself of her burn. I actually forgot about the extra BAP from Rare Candy as a result from Protean but it did not really matter in the end because...

After the Skill Frog enraged the Dragonair, the Gallade struck the Dragonair with a fist of ice which hit critically. The Togekiss tries to roost only to land on some spikes which prevented him from roosting properly. Ouch. The Dragonair then launches the incinerate attack it was supposed to use as the Skill Frog smacks the Dragonair with a beam of ice. After the Gallade heals the Skill Frog, the Togekiss then attacked using blinding light which hit critically and took out the Dragonair. Damn luck.

After the battle, you pick up a Water Gem and the Dragon Gem that the Dragonair dropped instead. You then find an exit from this crazy place that takes you further up this structure. You decide to take it.

As you step out from the last room, you find yourself suddenly outside. On every edge and railing, the discordant nature of the structure clashes with the serenity of Alto Mare below. Looking up and down, you find several additional balconies above and below you, funnelling what air movement there is into a relaxing breeze. With the help of your mons, you brace yourself against the colossal trap and try to slow it down as best you can. It grinds and groans as it slides across the sides of the tube, pushing you down further and further until you reach the curve at the bottom and it comes to a stop at last. You ache in your knees and arms, and you can tell your mons hurt a bit too. Your mons have each lost 14, 14, and 14 HP, but at least none of you are flat.

The Planet's Fury - Tired Balconies

As you step out from the last room, you find yourself suddenly outside. On every edge and railing, the discordant nature of the structure clashes with the serenity of Alto Mare below. Looking up and down, you find several additional balconies above and below you, funnelling what air movement there is into a relaxing breeze. As you indicate for your team to take a break, however, you find one of your members missing. Gazing skyward, you see Alexander floating upward, towards the next landing up! It seems that a Slowbro is angling with its Telekinesis. You better get up there quickly, before it leaves you one member short!
