I love that set. A Mienfoo U-turning into Krow will learn a hard lesson.

Misdreavus forces a lot of switches, so naturally, a set that lets Missy abuse this fact with Substitute is the best pick. 3 immunities to pretty common attack types makes Misdreavus the perfect punisher, and Substitute helps Missy do just that. Plus, Sub can catch Sucker Punch users off guard, giving Misdreavus a shit ton of momentum. It's a great set.

I have been using Life Orb Destiny Bond Misdreavus quite a bit recently and it is so good. Using Destiny Bond when you are low on health to get rid of a Pokémon like Bronzor, Munchlax and Abra even with its sash intact works wonders on HO teams. It also helps play around Sucker Punch users particularily Murkrow

TheQuasar. The other sets are rather good, but they lack speed (and the eviolite bulk). Off topic: Sarkynin's missy pic really creeps me out.

    Chinchou @ Eviolite
    Trait: Volt Absorb
    Level: 5
    EVs: 76 HP / 132 Def / 68 SAtk / 228 SDef
    Bold Nature
    - Charge Beam
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk
    - Surf / Scald

I feel like there is not a whole lot to explain about this set - it is pretty interesting, but it's pretty much a mix between the offensive and defensive sets that Chinchou runs oh so well, having the great bulk that we all know, but it also has potential offensive presence if it manages to nab a sneaky Charge Beam boost. One of the main reasons RestTalk Chinchou is even a thing is because of Murkrow. This thing not only checks it just as well as standard, but can also take advantage of Murkrow, using it to grab a boost and turn Chinchou into a nice tank. At +1, it actually hits decently hard, it reaches 20 SpA, 2hkoing plenty of threats after rocks:

    +1 68 SpA Chinchou Surf vs. 156 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Mienfoo: 13-16 (56.52 - 69.56%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

    +1 68 SpA Chinchou Surf vs. 0 HP / 0 SpD Eviolite Misdreavus: 9-12 (40.9 - 54.54%) -- 68.36% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock

    68 SpA Chinchou Charge Beam vs. 0 HP / 0- SpD Murkrow: 14-20 (63.63 - 90.9%) -- 93.75% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

    68 SpA Chinchou Charge Beam vs. 36 HP / 20 SpD Eviolite Murkrow: 12-14 (52.17 - 60.86%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

    +1 68 SpA Chinchou Charge Beam vs. 36 HP / 20 SpD Eviolite Murkrow: 14-18 (60.86 - 78.26%) -- 6.25% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock

Yeah, just a few calcs to illustrate my point, obviously rocks are not always going to be up, and it misses the 2hko sometimes of they are not, but hail/sand/any residual damage can make up for this. Surf is recommended over Scald, as it does nab some nice 2hkos, but Scald is nice for the Burn chance, so I guess it's mainly down to preference.

    FISH (Chinchou) @ Life Orb
    Trait: Volt Absorb
    Level: 5
    EVs: 232 SAtk / 52 Def / 224 Spd
    Modest Nature
    - Substitute
    - Ice Beam / Blizzard
    - Thunderbolt / Volt Switch
    - Hydro Pump

So yeah this thing can switch on something it threatens like Hippo or Murkrow (before revealing its item) or Staryu and sub up (or just straight up attack), 2HKOing the opponent's chou counter such as Lileep or Porygon.
    232 SpA Life Orb Chinchou Hydro Pump vs. 236 HP / 76 SpD Eviolite Porygon: 12-16 (46.15 - 61.53%) -- 68.36% chance to 2HKO
    232 SpA Life Orb Chinchou Blizzard vs. 228 HP / 60 SpD Eviolite Lileep in sand: 13-16 (50 - 61.53%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

NOTE: this set is best used with another krow counter like bulky Archen. (Archen also forms a kewl voltturn core with chou, so that's why volt switch is listed)

This chinchou can then free up a sweep for something like Clamperl as it can take a hit from krow/foo/porygon before OHKOing/2HKOing, and also beats lileep so you can run ss/sub/surf/HPgrass.

    "Chinchou? Meh."

Volt Absorb | Eviolite | Timid
    52 Def / 232 SpA / 228 Spe
    - Volt Switch
    - Hydro Pump
    - Toxic
    - Heal Bell

Probably a better way to deal with Lileep / Porygon than "LO Blizzard in sand". You can hit Toxic on the switch a good majority of the time and just Volt Switch out of there. Heal Bell is great, and Hydro Pump is always nice for the power. It's not like HP Grass was really that great of a move anyways. Also of note is the Timid nature; it lets you tie with offensive Mienfoo and MB Drilbur, two things that are pretty common. I suppose if you wanted to be really hipster, you could run Water Absorb to Volt Switch out on Porygon after you Toxic it, but Volt Absorb is cool. Always fun to ruin those Drilbur's days.

    But it's Chinchou, so whatever.

    Chinchou @ Eviolite
    Trait: Volt Absorb
    Level: 5
    EVs: 52 Def / 232 SAtk / 224 Spd
    Modest Nature
    - Hydro Pump
    - Hidden Power [Grass]
    - THUNDER
    - RAIN DANCE

Chinchou can make a good supporter if you want to build a rain dance team... it can check opposing chinchou (which can annoy rain teams) with HP Grass and use it's superpowerful STAB moves to dent holes in the opposition. Hydro Pump in the rain is incredibly powerful and 100% acc Thunder is pretty cool too.

yeah this set sucks, don't vote for it.
