Arena: Evil Circus: It seemed like a great idea at the time, to go to the circus to have a good old friendly brawl. But then that damn evil puppet master came and ruined all the fun. Drat... but the fight must go on! At the end of each round, the puppet master will cast a tricky effect, directly attack both pokemon, or summon a wild pokemon to attack the competitors. He cannot be attack directly, but the Puppet master's attacks can be defended against.

Summary: A traveling circus with an evil puppet in the background, who will active one of the following effects at the end of each round: Use Wonder Room, Trick Room, Magic Room, use a ThunderBolt on all pokemon, use an Ice Beam on all Pokemon, use a Flamethrower on all pokemon, summon a wild Drifblimb to attack, summon a wild Houndoom to attack, or summon a Mr. Mime to attack. Each effect has the same chance of happening (1/9). The puppet master cannot be attacked.

No weather is allowed inside the circus tent, and the ground is dig-able. There are also standard items that you would expect to find in a traveling circus, such as large crates and performing pokemon in cages. I heavily encourage the ref to be creative with the crates and caged pokemon; I want this match to be fun!
I'll take this, since nobody likes playing on an assembly line...

I reply with my gruesome twosome of Capers & Sleast!

Alright, we need to tread carefully you two, especially you Sleast, since 1. The puppet master is around, & 2. Togekiss can flinch hax you. Other than that, this will be a fun day at the Circus!

Capers, open up the battle with a nasty Acrobatics at Pignite Emboar, exciting fellow onlookers (?), while Sleast can activate Capers' Poison Heal with Toxic! Next, Capers can use Circus props as a makeshift Rock Slide, hitting both targets, while Sleast can Earth Power the fuck out of that Emboar! Lastly, Capers can make Acrobatics moves on Emboar, & Sleast can round out with a Water Pulse at Emboar!

Let's do this!

Togekiss: Start out with a Tailwind to boost our team's speed. Hopefully some air currents can get going, even inside the tent. Then, use an Air Slash to hopefully flinch Gliscor before it can use rock slide. Finish with a Follow Me; we can take those attacks a lot better than emboar can.

Emboar: Start with a Yawn on Gastradon to get it asleep in a few actions. Then, use a Flamethrower on Gliscor. Finish with a Yawn, this time on Gliscor!

The two friends walk up to the circus tent. They'd been here before, but this was different. They had a score to settle, who was the greater battler? The rivals stare each other down, trying to decide which Pokemon to send out first. Kaxtar grabs two Pokeballs from his belt and tosses them into the air. "Scarlet and Quartz, you're up!" as Scarlet the Pignite and Quartz the Togekiss appear. A white glow begins to engulf Scarlet until it gets so bright that the trainers must shield their eyes. The light finally subsides and, what's this?!? Scarlet evolved into an Emboar! Its_A_Random then begins to weigh his options, "Let's go gruesome twosome, Capers and Sleast!" Capers the Gliscor and Sleast the Gastrodon appear on the field. The 4 Pokemon now size each other up as they prepare to battle.

Capers decides to kick the battle off, with a move that is most fitting for the setting. He flies into the air and begins to do amazing twists, turns and spins. As he finishes showing off his Acrobatic skills with a loop-de-loop, he slams right into Scarlet. Then, a fierce wind begins to blow from behind Quartz. The tent whips around, barely able to stay on the ground. Quartz and Scarlet seem to get a boost from this Tailwind, but the caged Pokemon are beginning to get riled up. Scarlet doesn't let this faze her, as she begins to...Yawn? Sleast appears to be affected by Scarlet's yawning, looking rather drowsy himself. Sleast then creates a cloud of Toxic gas that begins to float towards Capers. The two have a plan, as the gas activates Capers ability, Poison Heal.

Using the Tailwind to increase his speed, Quartz begins to create some more Air currents, then launches them towards Capers. The currents Slash at Capers, making him Flinch from the impacts. Scarlet takes advantage of her disabled foe, as she releases a powerful Flamethrower at him. Sleast then begins to sends a pulse into the Earth. The pulse then spreads through the ground, then erupts right underneath Scarlet. The Power from the attack, knocked her off her feat, but she doesn't seem to be too shaken from the attack.

Capers once again flies into the air. Ok, now he's just being a show off. Having seen this before, Scarlet becomes rather bored and Yawns again, this time at Capers. Once again Capers demonstrates his Acrobatic skills. Sleast then begins to generate a Pulse of Water, while Capers is in the air, when Quartz suddenly become an attention whore! He begins flying right in front of his opponents, mocking them. Sleast and Capers then turn and Follow (Me) Quartz, focusing their attacks on him. After attacking, Sleast then falls into an Intense Sleep.

A voice then booms throughout the tent. "Who dares enter my circus! You shall all pay for this intrusion!" A stream of Fire then flows through the tent, damaging each of the combatants. The fire then gets caught up in the Tailwind and begins to swirl around the Pokemon.

Tailwind is in effect for 2 more rounds. Fire is spinning around the 4 Pokemon for the next round. It won't disrupt any attacks, but Pokemon can be knocked into the fire to take damage and possibly burn them.
Kax, you're up.

With Gastrodon asleep, we can focus all of our attacks on Gliscor now!

Emboar: Create a 20% sub (worth 22 HP) for your first action. Then, use a Flamethrower on Gliscor. Finish with another Flamethrower, again on Gliscor.

Togekiss: Use an Air Slash first thing on Gliscor to hopefully get a flinch. Then, use a Toxic on Gastrodon to start racking up some damage on it. Finish with another Air Slash on Gliscor, hopefully getting another flinch.

Jirachi is so fickle...

Alright Capers, we're probably going to flinch anyway, but I want you to deliver your makeshift Rock Slide! Then I want you to block Quartz's Toxic & retaliate with Thunder Fang! And lastly, you can sleep.

Sleast, all you can do is sleep, but if you wake up, aim Ice Beams at Quartz. That thing needs to go.

The combatants stare each other down, as fire swirls around them. Well... except for Sleast, who is oblivious to all that is going on while he takes a power nap. Quartz continues where he left off last round, hitting Capers with another Air Slash. The impact made Capers Flinch, preventing him from moving. Scarlet takes advantage of his immobilized foe and creates a Substitute to take the attacks for him.

Scarlet then peaks out from behind her Substitute and release a stream of fire at Capers. The Flamethrower appears to hurt Capers, but he still notices that Quartz released a cloud of Toxic gas directed towards his sleeping partner. Capers flies into the cloud, absorbing the gas, while flying towards Quartz. His Fangs become charged with electricity and, as he bites Quartz, a crackle of Thunder erupts through the tent. Capers then flies back to the ground to take a nice Intense Sleep.

With both of their opponents asleep, Scarlet and Quartz go on the offensive as the each target Capers with a Flamethrower and Air Slash. It seems that Arceus is smiling upon Kaxtar, Capers has been burnt by Scarlet's attack!

The same voice as before echoes throughout the tent. "You're still here!?! Well if my Fire didn't scare you off before...maybe it will now!". Causing Kaxtar to yell out, "You stupid puppet master, try using something original for a change." The puppet master doesn't listen to Kaxtar's advice, and streams of fire flood the tent once more. The flames were too much for Capers to handle, and he isn't getting up again.

This tent needs a little more Herp Derp. Go, Shockish! Time for you to make your debut & terrify everyone with your appearance in general!

Shockish, your actions are simple, Discharge, Stone Edge Quartz, Discharge until Quartz is down for the count, If he's gone, then Spam Earth Power at Scarlet for the rest of the round. Lucky your teammate is unaffected by the Discharge.

Sleast, your actions are also simple, Ice Beam Quartz until he's gone, & then start firing Water Pulses at Scarlet.

Emboar: Use a Yawn on Shockish to get it sleeping soon. Then, use a Flamethrower to burn a giant hole in the roof, letting in natural light. Finish by using this light to Solarbeam Gastrodon.

Togekiss: Begin with a Toxic on Schockish to get some damage started on it. Then, use Tailwind once more to extend the duration of it. If you're still kicking, finish up with a Grass Knot on Gastrodon.

Upset that the Puppet master had delivered the final blow to Capers, Its_A_Random sends out his next battler, Shockish the Stunfisk...DERP.... Both feeling the effects of their battling, Scarlet and Quartz prepare to go up against two Pokemon that are still fairly unharmed. Quartz begins by releasing another cloud of Toxic gas. The gas engulfs Shockish, badly poisoning the...whatever it is. Scarlet must be working to hard, as she Yawns once again. Sleast and Shockish must have caught onto Quartz's lucky battling style, as they both focus on him. Sleast starts be firing a Beam of Ice at the him, while Shockish Discharges, striking Quartz and the Substitute that Scarlet had created.

Feeling the Tail Wind beginning to weaken, Quartz creates another for his team. Scarlet then launches a Flamethrower into the air, burning a massive hole in the tent. Sunlight begins to poor into the tent, showing some poor mistreated Pokemon eager to escape their cages. Sleast pays no attention to the Pokemon, and hurls another Ice Beam at Quartz. The Ice Beam freezes one of Quartz's wings, making him plummet to the ground. It seems that Quartz will no longer be able to battle. Shockish then turns to Scarlet and attacks with an Earth Power. The attack didn't hit its target, but it destroyed Scarlet's substitute.

Scarlet then begins to absorb energy from the sun. Sleast and Shockish don't want to give their opponent a chance to attack, so Sleast launches a Pulse of Water directly at Scarlet. Scarlet doesn't budge, and continues to charge energy from the sun. Scarlet then focuses in on Sleast, ready to unleash all hell, when the Earth starts to shake from under her, then erupts. The Power of the attack sends Scarlet into the air. She crashes to the ground and is unable to get back up.

"Well, well, well. You're still here?" The voice booms. "Let's see what I have in store for you this time?" An evil cackle then echoes inside the tent and streams of Fire flow through the tent, damaging Sleast and Shockish.

Here we go again, with the attack Gastrodon, because he's stopping Arghonaut from attacking Shockish Super Effectively...At least he now knows who the real threat is...

Sleast, the good news for you is that Kirlia's Magical Leaves will only do a minimum of ~10 Damage, assuming my calcs are correct. Anyways, time to rack up the damage on the Pirate Octopus thingy, by using Toxic on it. Next, I want you to continue your status assault on Pirate man by Yawning on it, & finish up by using Recover, your only recovery for the match.

On the other hand, I want you to wreak havoc with Discharge, & show Kaxtar that your derpness needs to be addressed with. Then I want you to Yawn Kirlia, & finish up with another Discharge.

Demi Gravidon the Kirlia and Pirate Man the Privatyke appear in the tent to avenge their fallen comrades. Pirate Man begins to glow white, and when the light finally subsides, Pirate Man stands there as an Arghonaut. Leaves imbued with a Magical energy begin to form around Demi, and with a Helping Hand from Pirate Man, he shoots the leaves at Sleast. The leaves cut through Sleast who responds by releasing a cloud of Toxic gas, that engulfs and poisons Pirate Man.

Demi doesn't let up, as he fires more Magical Leaves at Sleast. Pirate man then rushes towards Sleast, and attacks with a devastating Cross Chop. Shockish finally wakes up from his nap, but he is still looking a little tired as he begins to Yawn. It seems to be contagious and Sleast begins to Yawn as well, while Demi and Pirate Man both appear to be looking Drowsy.

Pirate Man continues his assault on Sleast, and Punches him once more. This attack Drains some of Sleast's health and gives it to Pirate Man. Demi then begins to Calm his Mind, as he prepares for his next assault. Sleast then begins to Recover some of the damage dealt to him this round. Shockish then unleashes another Discharge, that strikes Demi, Pirate Man and destroys a cage that contained a Simisage, Simipour and Simisear.

A crackle of Thunder erupts through the tent and a bolt of electricity comes down and strikes Pirate Man and Demi. "Hahaha", laughs the puppet master. "Your numbers are dwindling, soon you will all be destroyed!"

Shockish looks worryingly at is partner, looking like he wants to share their pain. However, Pirate Man won't have any of that sappy, emotional BS and begins to Taunt Shockish. Demi continues his assault from last round, and launches some more Magical Leaves at Sleast. The Earth then begins to crack from underneath Pirate Man, then erupts with enough Power to send him flying into the air.

Pirate Man then decides to give Demi a Helping Hand, as she creates Magical Leaves more powerful than the last. The leaves rocket towards Sleast, tearing through him, dealing some critical damage. The slug then collapses to the ground, unable to move. Both Demi and Pirate Man are exhausted from their attacks, and they fall to the ground asleep. Trying to combat two opponents himself, Shockish unleashes another Discharge, that also shocks the freed Simis. Electricity then pulses through Demi's body. He could be Paralyzed, but it is hard to tell when he is sleeping.

Taking advantage of his sleeping foes, Shockish Discharges once again. The attack enrages the Simi's provoking them into attacking. Simisage creates a seed from his grassy body and throws it at Demi. The Seed explodes like a Bomb upon impact, but it does little to disrupt Demi's sleep. Simisear then fire a Burst of Flame at Pirate Man, who seems to be having a nice dream about pillaging and plundering some villages. Simipour than begins to Scald Shockish.

Shockish is about to retaliate when a he hears a click all of the sudden. A growl then comes from behind him, when the Puppet Master's laugh echoes through the tent. "My pet is hungry, now don't move while I devours you all! Ahahahaha!" A Houndoom then rushes into the middle of the Pokemon and unleashes a powerful Heat Wave that engulfs the combatants and incinerates the poor monkeys.

I have a cheeky monkey here & he's going to rape!

Anyways, Blind, we're the fastest, so we shall begin by giving Demi Gravidon a Fury Swiping Rampage! In the meantime, Shockish can use Thundershock on Pirate Man!
Action two, & Blind, I want you to use Acrobatics to finish Demi Gravidon off & get yourself a nifty KO Counter! Shockish, I want you to use Earth Power on Pirate Man, & luckily, he'll still be asleep, since Earth Power doesn't lower the Sleep Count iirc.
Now for the last action. Blind, I want you to use Acrobatics again, priority Demi Gravidon, then Pirate Man, & the Shockish shall (hopefully) finish off this match with a Thundershock on Pirate Man!

Time to wrap this up.

Blind appears on the field, ready to battle. He rushes Demi, while Swiping Furiously. However, Blind lives up to his name as he misses a sleeping opponent. Shockish then attacks Pirate Man with a ThunderShock. It seems he's learned his lesson about using Discharge over and over.

Blind then takes a page from Capers' book, and he begins doing flips and tricks on the circus equipment. When he finally finishes showing off his Acrobatic skills, he flies into Demi, sending them sprawling across the groun. The jolt was enough to wake Demi up, but he still cannot move since he is fully paralyzed. Shockish then unleashes another Earth Power at the sleeping Pirate Man.

Blind then does some more Acrobatic tricks, and comes crashing into Demi. This time, however, Demi is KOed from the blow and will not be getting up. Demi's screams of agony have finally woken Pirate Man, who jumps into the air. He then comes crashing down onto Shockish with the force of a Waterfall. Shockish quickly retaliates with another Thundershock.

The Puppet Master's voice booms through the tent once more. "The time has come. You shall all perish!" And bolts of electricity comes down and strike Blind and Pirate Man. It seems that the Puppet Master delivered the final blow to Pirate Man. Ladies and gentleman, Its_A_Random wins!
