update on my Black version Scramblocke
(Original here) <<http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3304051&postcount=7129>>

After a series of unfortunate events, all I have left is :
1.
@Vratix: I'll give you the Oshawott. Before it can evolve to Dewatt, it must lower the opponent's defense three times(Doesn't have to be same pokemon) with Razor Shell. To evolve to Samurott, it must Encore an opponent's attacking move with at least 50 base power. Once a Samurott, it must keep Razor Shell, Encore, one TM move, and one level up move. Nickname it "Core Shell"
@Vratix, take a Female Gothitelle (you may catch it and whatever stage you wish, and evolve it whenever you please)named DaughterOS, who (though she doesn't like to admit it) is a bit of an emo. Teach her Fake Tears. She likes to walk around in the rain. Teach her Rain Dance so she can do that whenever she wants. However, when she does this, she is relentlessly mocked by chavs for being a "water-loving freak". This enrages her, so teach her Thunder, so she can drop bolts of righteous fury on them. However, it can only be used when rain is up. Knowing that water conducts electricty, she likes to use Psycho Shock in rain too, though she can also use it out of rain. In rain, however, she must alternate between it and Thunder.
(who can't learn thunder LOL)
Vratix, take an Axew named Kibago. From the moment you catch one, you may only teach it three moves for the rest of the game. When you evolve it, you must rename it Onondo ASAP if Possible & the Ononokusu if you evolve it again.
and
@Vratix
For your Black Scramblocke you get a personal favorite new pokemon of mine, Vullaby. Name it PukeFace. It must be evolved by the Elite Four. In the Elite Four, it must solo one of Shauntal's (Ghost) and Caitlin's (Psychic) pokemon. Which pokemon is up to you. Other than that, the moves and nature are up to you. Have fun!
I am INCREDIBLY nervous about N's Reshiram.
Shadoo's Daughter and Pukeface lack power but makes up for it in resilience. Core Shell and Ononokusu are both pretty strong I'm just concerned about them being strong enough.

It's been a while I know, but I'm looking for a Pokemon Platinum Scramble run.

I need a break from all of the Nuzlockes I've been doing and this seemed like the thing.

- Platinum
- No Trades
- Nicknames if possible
- Reasonably Challenging

@Addiethunder
Bring SoExcited the gift Porygon.
He's so excited that the new, shiny dubious disc will...
Wait...
You won't trade him?

RAGE. SoExcited, while no longer excited, is really ticked that you won't let him evolve so he must know Frustration at all times. To help him vent his frustration he likes to hit things as hard as possible so he may only know attacking moves and (other than furstration) they must all have >100 base power.
Hyper Beam is one but the other two are up to you.

@Ranger Blue
You will get a Snivy named Tommy.

-May not KO any of Bianca's Pokemon
So I have to lose my very first battle? Kinda sucks, but oh well.

So that's all six:

Tommy the Snivy,
Caterpie the Sewaddle,
Healer the Audino,
Walklots the Daramuka,
RockLobsta the Dwebble and
FishyFishy the Stunfisk.

Should be... interesting...
I'll try and keep you updated

Addie gets a male Ralts named Spartacus. He may only use physical moves in battle until it evolves into Gallade. From here, he must only use special moves. He must solo either Candice or Volkner.

Addie gets a MEP. This is a special MEP. It is even more hyperactive than your average Pachirisu. Thus, it won't stay with any one trainer for very long. You catch MEP near Floaroma, but at Pastoria, seeing as it has a type advantage there, it decides to stay. So you leave without it. And you go back to Floaroma to get a Shinx. And that Shinx, knowing it is just a mere replacement, and it's trainer doesn't love it, let's loose it's anger through Discharge, Spark-ing a feud with water types everywhere, and Crunching everything else.

Addie, you get the Eevee from Bebe. You must take the first one, no SRing. Name it Hammond. Hammond is an Eevee, so he needs to be EV trained, and he loves fast cars, so he needs 252 in speed. (Even if the poor thing has a -Speed nature). He also must keep Quick Attack.

Hammond's favourite car maker is Porsche, so you need to see a Porsche in the real world before Hammond will be happy enough to evolve, into the fastest Eeveelution, Jolteon. He must keep Quick Attack until he learns Agility.

@Addiethunder, your starter is a chimchar named "Blzkn4Ubrs" This chimchar has become a bit lazy after hearing blaziken was banned, after all, it's not like emboar is gonna outclass him any time soon, so he refuses to learn any TM/HM/Tutor moves, but after evolving he realises that just because blaziken is banned doesn't mean he won't be sent to UU, so he decides to prove his worth by soloing any gym leader/E4 he doesn't have a type advantage over. Recap:
-Chimchar named "Blzkn4Ubrs".
-Only lvl-up moves.
-Solo gym leader/E4 that isn't hit for SE by fighting/fire as an infernape.
Good luck.

That's what I like about Gothitelle. She is surprisingly bulky for a Psychic. And I did say you can replace Thunder with Thunderbolt... Granted, Reuniclus is bulker, and has Recover... And Magic Guard... But she has speed, right? RIGHT!? ... Ok, it's the design.

Seriously can't believe she doesn't get Thunder. Such bullshit. But, out of curiosity, what happened to all the rest?

And ooh, I made it into Kingofkongs' sig. I'm moving up in the world.

AddieThunder, get a Cleffa. Evolve it into Clefairy ASAP. Your Clefairy is one of the six warriors of Elbmarcs, & which one you get depends on an RNG Roll. Roll a number between 1 & 6, do it 30 times, the warrior you get depends on the number you roll the most.

1: You get Taclol, the Bad moves specialist. It refuses to use Metronome, Meteor Mash, Light Screen, Healing Wish, Calm Mind, Toxic, Ice Beam, Blizzard, Solar Beam, Thunderbolt, Thunder, Psychic, Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, Fire Blast, Stealth Rock, Substitute, And any Move Tutor move.

2: You get Tohsdaert, The Normal move specialist. It may only use Normal Type Attacks in battle. It may not hold an Exp. Share.

3: You get Modnar, The Berry Holding specialist. When you first get a berry, Modnar must hold that particular berry to fight from that point onward. If it loses it mid-battle, it must switch out, no Soft Resetting, must save game after the battle.

4: You get Ymmud: The Creativity specialist. It must know & keep Gravity, Meteor Mash, Metronome, & Thunderbolt/Ice Beam/Flamethrower before the E4. It must solo 3 GLMP & have the moveset to evolve past Clefairy.

5: You get Saxet: the Substituting specialist. It must know & keep Substitute & 2 Normal Type moves.

6: You get Onehta: The Move Category specialist. It must be either All Physical or All Special.

Either way, the warrior you get must solo 5 Pokemon in the Pokemon league.

Have fun.

Change of order on my Scramble. Nidoran (M) is a 1% encounter rate on Route 3, and 20 minutes searching is quite enough. So I'm getting the salesman's Magikarp, to become RAEP Gyarados, now, and putting NeedleKing off until later, since Nidoran M and Nidorino can be had at 5% encounter rates in the Safari Zone.

(There are Nidoran M and Nidorino available sooner by in-game trade, but then I can't give it the nickname.)

EDIT: Which means it won't "solo Gary battle on Nugget Bridge". TM13IceBeam, do you want to nominate something else for NeedleKing to solo?, considering it's being got from the Safari Zone.

My team on this run:

1.
@Addiethunder
Bring SoExcited the gift Porygon.
He's so excited that the new, shiny dubious disc will...

You won't trade him?

RAGE. SoExcited, while no longer excited, is really ticked that you won't let him evolve so he must know Frustration at all times. Hyper Beam is one but the other two are up to you.
I'm ok with this. It'll defiantly become a powerhouse later with Hyper Beam et all.

2.
Addie gets a male Ralts named Spartacus. He may only use physical moves in battle until it evolves into Gallade. From here, he must only use special moves. He must solo either Candice or Volkner.
I've never trained a Gallade before, so this'll be good to try.

3.
So at first I get a Pachirisu, but then trade it for a Shinx. Well that Shinx is going to be grinded like there's no tomorrow.

4.

Hammond's favourite car maker is Porsche, so you need to see a Porsche in the real world with the game card on your person before Hammond will be happy enough to evolve, into the fastest Eeveelution, Jolteon. He must keep Quick Attack until he learns Agility.
This is going to get annoying, I can tell. How am I supposed to see a Porsche in real life? Does watching Top Gear count as seeing it? If not, I'm probably not going to get a Jolteon, but I may be able to use the Eevee.

5.
-Only lvl-up moves.
-Solo gym leader/E4 that isn't hit for SE by fighting/fire as an infernape.
Good luck.
I can already see that this mon is going be one of my strongest. I never used TMs on my original Infernape anyway.

6.

This is going to be fun. It's Clefairy Roulette. None of the setups seem too bad.

I've hit a snag. I can't battle a required trainer because he has a rattata and all I can possibly have is my Totodile. Since Toto can't battle anything but water and grass types, what do i do?

This is going to get annoying, I can tell. How am I supposed to see a Porsche in real life? Does watching Top Gear count as seeing it? If not, I'm probably not going to get a Jolteon, but I may be able to use the Eevee.
I'll remove the requirement for you to have the game card (since I don't want you to risk losing it), but no Top Gear does not count :-P How likely you are to see one I don't know; where I live (which isn't a rich area) they're not uncommon to see parked, but you may be less lucky.

Tyranitarphantom catch a Drilbur. It cannot evolve until it learns Sandstorm. It cannot know any STAB moves when it evolves. As an Excadrill, it cannot battle unless there's a Sandstorm up, except it can use the move Sandstorm.

Hopefully that makes sense

Tyranitarphantom, use a male Roggenrola. Name it The King. You may only use it in battle if you are listening to Elvis Presley while playing.

wtangelo can just solo the Rattata with Totodile. This battle is the only exception to the "must battle Water or Grass only" rule. Provided it's agreed by whoever suggested Toto...

@Tyranitarphantom
Bring a Blitzle named Square-D.
It may not know electrical attacks, all of its attacks must be special and it must solo Elesa without items to evolve.

Not too bad, evolving late. I love Drilbur. Also, wanna give it a name?

2.

Tyranitarphantom, use a male Roggenrola. Name it The King. You may only use it in battle if you are listening to Elvis Presley while playing.
That's great. Now I gotta dig up some old CDs and rip them ;)

3.

Ouch, that means it can only know Hidden Power, Round (a TM purchased in the Battle Subway) and Hyper Beam if it evolves (as well as Overheat post-game). This is gonna be a challenge

TTar-phantom gets a Woobat named "ILoveYou". Woobat loves you so much, it wants to prove itself by permanently learning Return before it evolves. As a Swoobat it loves you even more, so it wants to prove itself further by never learning or use STAB moves other than Heart Stamp and Air Cutter. It also solos Skyla and then learns Rain Dance. So its final moveset must be Return, Heart Stamp, Air Cutter, and Rain Dance. Finally, it loves you so much it wants to protect you from Marshal by soloing his team.

Recap:
"ILoveYou" the Woobat
Teach Return just before evolving to Swoobat
No STAB except Air Cutter and Heart Stamp.
Solo Skyla just before learning Rain Dance to complete final moveset
Must solo Marshal

Sorry for dping, yadda yadda yadda, but once I complete my current Sapphire Payback Scramble, I plan to do another one. It's basically a regular Scramble, except people may only give me challenges I've issued in the past. Moving on, here are the rules...

  • Sapphire Version
  • No Trades
  • Difficulty doesn't really matter, because...
  • Only Challenges I've issued for Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald in the past will be accepted
  • When giving the challenge, I expect a quote of the challenge & the link to the original post
  • You don't really need to think up of challenges, so reservations are void, i.e. your reservation will be ignored.
  • Make sure the challenge is possible in Sapphire, replace references to the other version with references to Sapphire if you really need to (e.g. There is no Juan in Sapphire, so sub him for Wallace, etc)
  • If it helps, my posts are found as early as roughly page 107, excluding the OP (Which I was given by Haunter)
  • Make them fun
Without further ado, give me challenges! (Oh, almost forgot, do make sure I have a chance against Wattson...)
  • Shedinja: May never be the lowest leveled member on my team (Iggdrasil)
  • Swellow (Swellowned): Evolve before Rival Battle on Route 110, must know & keep Protect Facade & Aerial Ace/Fly, solo Brawly, & Sidney's Shiftry & Cacturne (Pika25)
  • Aron: If it has a Neutral, +Attack or +Defence nature, then it must know all physical moves, otherwise, it must know all Special moves (Samurai 796)
  • Zubat (Flapper): Can never hold a Cheri Berry, can never get paralysed, or it must solo a Gym Leader/E4 Pokemon for every time it gets paralysed, & it must also switch out of the battle it gets paralysed & not be used for the remainder of the battle. It may not evolve past Golbat until it solos Wattson's Voltorb (Dark Ray)
  • TBA
  • TBA
Shameless repost. auramaster still needs to notify me if he wants to give me Cursing Shuppet or something else, but yeah.

TtarPhantom, take a Venipede, name it Roller. It must know & keep Rollout, & Steamroller.

Have fun.

Its 2015 somewhere
won the 2nd Smogon VGC Tournamentis a Past SPL Champion
@Tyranitarphantom, as I'm currently training one, and I'm not feeling creative, you get a Litwick. Its restriction depends on its hidden power
Water/Dragon/Grass: Must solo Fighting E4
Poison/Ground/Flying: Cannot know a damaging fire move
Electic/Dark/Fighting: Must use Memento 10 times against trainers in gyms
Rock/Electric/Fire: Must solo Skyla
Bug/Steel/Psychic: May only evolve into Chandalure if it solos Iccirus gym on your first try. Healing items may not be used.
Ice: No restrictions, as it took me 6 boxes of litwicks in order to get one with this.

Good Luck, name it Mr. Burns if it's male, no nickname if it's female.
