Well so far my team at its basic form is looking like this:

Jackal: Houndour
Hipster: Abra
Rebellion: Machop
WtrSpirit/ FireKing/MeRulez: Mantine, Magmar and Mareep
Spoilers: Tangela

Thankyou for the contributions just one more space left

Okay, after days of putting it off, I started working on Blue. I have:
ShellShock level 19
Water-Gun
Tail Whip
Tackle
Bubble

What I'm having trouble with is the Clefairy challenge. I have no clue which exact room (Mt. Moon) I can find Clefairy in, and even then it's still rare..

Clefairy has a 1% appearance rate in the first room, the passageways yield a 4% encounter rate & a 6% encounter rate in the room with the fossils, if it helps.

BlueBlaze, i'm the meanest guy in this thread, and for that reason, you get the insanely creative but ultra difficult...

TYPE CHANGING CHALLENGE!!!

What you have to do is this: On the first route, catch something. Anything, it doesn't matter. When you reach the next town (and kill the respective gym leaders, heal, etc.), after you're done with everything in that town, release the pokemon. The next route, catch something of a type other than the type of the pokemon you just released (so if you release a Houndour, for instance, then the next pokemon you catch cannot be Dark not Fire). Repeat this every town/city you happen across.

You have 10 requirements, though:

1. Use a STAB move.
2. Learn a TM.
3. Solo 10 wild pokemon.
4. Solo something your type is weak to.
5. Faint.
6. Solo 2 trainers.
7. Learn a HM.
8. Using only this pokemon, catch another pokemon in a POKE BALL (then box the pokemon you just caught, it's not somethign you can use).
9. Don't use this pokemon at all.
10. Afflict status against a Wild Pokemon.

Any pokemon you catch on your Type Changing challenge may fulfill any of these conditions, and you can cross them off the list as soon as you do them once. Between 10 pokemon, you must do the 10 requirements, and each pokemon may only fulfill one Requirement.

The pokemon you end up with at the E4 must solo either 2 E4 members, or the Champion.

Creative enough for ya?

Actually, ironically, I found one like 5 minutes after posting that, then found another while training it. TM12 Water Gun helps it alot with training since the Geodude give 110 EXP. My only dissappointment about the challenge now is that it learns Metronome at level 31, so I'm stuck with Clefairy as my second member until I reach Celadon for Brisingr the Flareon (Picked it because I've never used Flareon in RBY before, and Vaporeon would be too easy and the type is redundant to have)

Edit: I want to add Mew to my team, can I get a challenge for that?

@Texas: For your Platinum No-Evo, take a Bronzor named Abilify. Its remaining restrictions depend on its ability.

If it has Levitate, it must solo 40 Ground-types to evolve. It must hold the Amulet Coin at all times, and it may never level up inside a Gym.

If it has Heatproof, it must solo 30 Fire-types to evolve. It must hold the Iron Ball at all times, and it may never level up while you are standing in grass.

For White, take a Tynamo named Spark Plug. It loathes the fact that it has a crappy movepool as a Tynamo, so it may evolve into Eelektrik whenever. As an Eelektrik, it must learn at least one move of ten different types, and it must use each one in battle at least once. It must also solo 5 GL Pokemon. If you accomplish both of these, it may evolve into Eelektross. Eelektross may never have a hold item and must solo Caitlin.

Erm, Dummy, Im seeing an issue with the no-evo challenge, that ebing that you specified a number of pokemon it had to kill to evolve. Yeah. Kinda defeats the purpose. Otherwise loved the poke!

That leaves 3 left in my no-evo, and 2 left in White Hard Scramble. Once again you must be on Randoms list (top of the page for reference).

Also, small heads up, at some point soonish Im going to make a giant post containing the ten Scrambles selected for the compendium for signature purposes. Its much easier to have a one line sig than a 24 line one using Hide tags to avoid the 6 line cap.

Okay, Texas. For your no-evo, get a Bronzor named Jerry. It may only use physical moves.

For White, catch a Ducklett and name it "Pieface". It must solo Skyla to evolve. Upon evolution it may only know STAB.

Edited to fix the Platinum challenge.

A1 already gave me a Shinx.

That leaves me with 1 left for the White Hard, and 3 left for the no-evo.

Once again, you must be on the list.

Alright, I need to step my scramble game up. I realize I have two incomplete scrambles, but they have gotten a little stale and frankly, I'd like to put them on pause for now. Therefore, I'd like to request a Sapphire Scramble. No drudgery, no trading, and I reserve to reject anything too annoying. Otherwise, have at it!

@ biggie, catch a surkit named skipper. It may never evolve because it doesn't want to lose it's awesome typing. Must solo Flannery to prove it's water type worth. Can't fight team aqua.

@ ironman, catch a Darumakka named Faec. It cannot evolve until it solos 3 gym leaders with just headbutt. Its only fire move is Flare blitz.

@Ironman: Take a Scrafty named JoeyPants. This Scrafty is obsessed with mobster movies and as such must have a moveset that reflects this:

Payback (The Godfather)
Brick Break (Scarface)
Retaliate (Casino)
Substitute (The Untouchables)

JoeyPants must have this moveset by the Elite Four, so you better get Substitute quick as it's only obtainable in Twist Mountain during the Winter.

In order to evolve, JoeyPants must KO every horse-like pokemon you come across (Godfather reference), KO 10 pokemon that are at least 5 levels higher than it (Scarface reference), block 5 status moves with Substitute (Untouchables) and hold the Amulet Coin as soon as you get it. (Casino)

BiGGie, you get a Gulpin. Now this Gulpin is very lazy and forgetful. As such it must always know Yawn and Amnesia. He also hates hard battles, so he can never battle against a gym leader unless all your other Pokemon are already knocked out. However, by the time you get to the Elite 4, he will start to feel bad that he did help out very much, so to make up for it, he must solo any 6 E4 (or Champion) Pokemon.

@BiGGiE: I'm not feeling too inspired right now, so you get a Zangoose named Qatar. Qatar can be pronounced like 'cutter,' so your Zangoose must always know Cut. Qatar also has a large amount of oil in it, so you must teach Zangoose the closest thing to oil it gets: Toxic, which it must keep forever. Qatar, unfortunately, is also home to some radical terrorists, so Qatar must suicide-bomb something (cause a double KO) to be usable against the Elite Four (you don't need a recoil move to achieve this). In doing so, it is transported to heaven, where it receives seventy-two...good reasons not to use Cut anymore. You may now replace Cut with whatever you want, and there are no further restrictions.

@ironman: You might end up soloing the game with AdrianMonk the male Panpour. Turns out, it used to be Adrian Monk, but he was turned into a Panpour by a fairy who thought he washed his hands too much. He redevelops the paranoia and germ phobia he cured in the last episode of the series, so he may never use a contact move for fear of catching a disease. Also, he can't stand asymmetry, so he must know either two special and two status moves (when possible) or four of either (when possible). His final requirement is that whenever he is damaged by a wild Pokemon he must have his health restored in some way as soon as the battle is done (again, who knows where those things have been?), and you must ASAP heal any visible status conditions he gets so he doesn't get any awful diseases.

@BiGGiE
Catch a Lotad, name it Ruby. Ruby wishes he was a Seedot from Ruby and can only learn moves from the Seedot Evolution line. Ruby refuses to battle against Team Aqua members or Kyogre. Also, Ruby is very jealous of actual Seedots and must solo all Seedot, Nuzleaf, and Shiftry you encounter as well as Sidney.
Moves learned by Seedot/Lotad line:
Growth
Nature Power
Fake out
TM6 Toxic
TM9 Bullet Seed
TM10 Hidden Power
TM11 Sunny Day
TM15 Hyper Beam
TM17 Protect
TM19 Giga Drain
TM21 Frustration
TM22 Solar Beam
TM27 Return
TM31 Brick Break
TM32 Double Team
TM42 Facade
TM43 Secret Power
TM44 Rest
TM45 Attract
TM46 Thief
HM04 - Strength
HM05 - Flash
HM06 - Rock Climb

@ironman You might get Crumbles, the Roggenrola. Crumbles is terrified of falling apart and will not use Explosions or rock moves with the exception of Smack Down, and he must always know the move Harden which he must use every time he takes a critical hit. If you can trade, he cannot evolve into Gigalith until after you defeat Skyla.

Also been busy will school(end of semester) haven't had too much time to work on my scramble once end of semester projects start to wrap up, I should get more time.

In Texas' White Scramble, my Challenge & Dummy's challenge requirements conflict with each other. So, I'm modifying my challenge. Texas, Ivyron must now only solo 4 Pokemon from the last three gym leaders, so it's possible to fulfill both requirements. Okay?
Because I like queuing up challenges...

Anyways, following the completion of my current White Scramble, I'll do a random scramble on that. This will be a 6 Pokemon Scramble, all of which will have varying difficulties & yeah...

Anyways, for each challenge must fall into a different category:

  • A ridiculously easy challenge.
  • An insanely difficult challenge.
  • A challenge I've issued in the past.
  • An extremely variable challenge.
  • A ridiculously creative challenge.
  • A second one from either of the mentioned categories.
Bold Indicates that the category is taken.

The rules:

Texas Cloverleaf
Vratix
Treadshot A1
Sprocket
zdrup15
Dexington
Athenodoros
Dark Ray
doomvendingmachine
Dummy007
auramaster
DetroitLolcat
Galladiator
Octagon/Paradox808
chocolate-kipp
Iggdrasil
ObsidianRanger
Pika25
Arcticblast

  • White Version
  • Can trade, but will do so for evolution purposes
  • I reserve the right to reject challenges, but I'll accept most
  • I'll probably go to Ghestis, maybe Alder if I feel like it
  • Don't steal signature challenges
  • You may not give me Oshawott, Purrloin, Drilbur, Venipede, Darumaka, Durant, or their evolutions. Legendaries are permitted, as long as it's one of the musketeers. You can also give me Zorua line if you want, as I do have it. Starter is optional
  • No drudgery or any "Your Pokemon may not exceed (Level) challenges"
  • At least two attacking options per Pokemon
  • You don't have to be ridiculously creative
  • Specify which category your challenge is in
  • Any & all reservations will be void
  • Make them fun
And without further ado, give me challenges if your on the list. Also, there's no need to rush, since this is being queued.
  • Tympole (Cymbol): [Hard] No-Evolution, Solo N & all the minor trainers in Opelucid. Must solo 2 Musketeers. Cannot use Maids in N's castle to heal (Heh, heh, heh...) (Treadshot A1)
  • Foongus (MoldBreakr/Hasbeengus): [Creative] Goes through 2 Phases.
    1. (MoldBreakr) Cannot use Status moves, may not fight a Pokemon with Mold Breaker for an ability.
    2. (Hasbeengus) After evolution, must know a Smogon Moveset, must solo an E4 Pokemon, the only one he can fight after entering the Pokemon League. If more than 3 Pokemon faint against Ghestis, return to Phase 1 (Dummy007)
  • Vanillite (VanillaIce): [Payback] Only two attacking options at any given time, one Physical & one Special, must switch out after attacking a Pokemon in a major battle (auramaster)
  • Basculin: [Easy] Must know & keep Double-Edge (Texas Cloverleaf)
  • TBA
  • TBA
New Page, 2 more. Qualify? Give me a challenge!

wanting to start a pokemon white solo run i want you to assign me six mons and i will roll a dice to choose the one...
Well, I offer you SoloMaster the Solosis. It can only evolve into Duosion after soloing the next gym leader, and into Reuniclus after soloing a double battle (all other Pokés should be boxed). As Reuniclus, it must keep at least two physical attacks.

Good luck if you get this challenge.

Zangoose does not learn cut.

@ironman, at the start of the game, name yourself Kaiba, because you are Seto Kaiba, one of the main characters of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Series. but suddenly, you are sentenced to a Pokemon duel that lasts throughout the game. At the beginning, you have 8000 Life Points. Each time you take battle damage, this number reduces. When you hit 0 Life Points, you lose the duel & therefore, you lose the solo run!

However, you become sick of your starter at the beginning of the game & at Accumula Town, you receive an egg. You go ahead & hatch it, & it turns out you get a Deino! You name this thing Blue-Eyes, because this thing will eventually become the mighty Blue Eyes White Dragon that you use in many a duel. This thing must get this moveset which must be obtained before the E4:
-RAWWWR!!!: Roar/Hyper Voice
-White Lightning: Dragon Pulse
-Draco-Crunch: Crunch
-Draco-Bash: Dragon Rush/Body Slam

Also, throughout the game you have a set of cards that you can ultilise:
-Waboku: (Three uses) You take no damage to your Life Points in a battle where you use this card.
-Dian Keto the Cure Master: (One Use) Restore your Life Points by 1000.
-Monster Reborn: (One Use) If your runner dies in battle & you have a HM Slave in your party, you can use this to permit yourself the ability to revive Blue-Eyes.

Ultimately, after all that, it would help if you had Pen & Paper to keep track of your Life Points.

Good Luck & Have fun. (Whew! Didn't get ninja'd, that's good...)

Dummy, just so you know, Zangoose is exclusive to Ruby, sorry to tell you...

Anyways, BiGGiE, You get the King of all the Berry Holding Zubats, Flapking, the Any-Berry Zubat! He must be male, & be the highest leveled member on your team. He also must hold any Berry to fight, losing it mid-battle results in it switching it out. To evolve, it must solo at least 5 trainers holding 5 different Berries, & to evolve again, it must have soloed 20 trainers holding 20 different berries.

Have fun with this berry holding royalty.

That yugioh challenge is awesome,I want one too,but first I need to finish my leafgreen solo scramble...

I'm currently In route 19,after the battle with the team rocket and sabrina,so I only need 2 more badges and the elite four to end!

The Scrambler:
King Odin(Nidoking)
Lv 69
Modest
-Dig
-Surf
-Shockwave
-Shadow ball

The biggest problem I have is PP,King Odin can't solo a whole route without returning a pokemon center to restore the PP...
