Challenge The Scramble Challange

Take a Krabby, nicknamed Frenchie. It may never use a STAB attack, and must learn and keep Protect. To evolve into Kingler, it must solo any Trainer only using Guillotine.

To update on my own challenge, I've taken my Charmander (Naive) and have caught a Pikachu (Mild) in Viridian Forest (no nickname, for now at least). Now to level up enough to take on Brock, since these two are the only Pokémon I can get at this point.

Death Incarnate, you get a Ledyba named Balboa. In order to evolve it must survive a damage-dealing Rock-type attack 3 separate times from a Pokemon who is either
a) Level 10 or above, or
b) (Ledyba's level at the time - 5) or above,
whichever requirement is higher. (So, if Ledyba is Lv. 12, the opponent must be >=10. If Ledyba is Lv. 18, the opponent must be >=13, etc.) In addition, Ledyba must kill any 3 Gym Leader's Pokemon, not counting Bugsy's Metapod or Kakuna.

In all honesty, I have no idea if this is even plausible, but try it out, and if it doesn't work I'll ramp it down a little.

Take a meowth named MoneyMaker. He must know pay day asap and always keep it. He can only learn tms that are completely bought with money gained from pay day (either from department stores or from casinos). If from casinos, make sure that the tm was bought only from coins that were directly bought with pay day money. No hms, or move tutors.

DeathIncarnate:
Take an Eevee. It must not evolve into anything.

Whoops... (lol thanks Treadshot)

No evolving the Eevee, but no other restrictions.

death you are very weak against electrics so take a gloom and evolve it to belossom. It can't have STAB moves and non-damaging moves.

Death Incarnate, take a Dunsparce and name it Win. It doesn't need to have Serene Grace, but you will find it helpful if it does. It must always know a flinching move. It must flinch at least 10 Gym leader's pokemon, and must flinch one of each of the elite 4's pokemon.

DeathIncarnate:
Take an Eevee. It must evolve into nothing.

No evolving the Eevee, but no other restrictions.
Geez, Lolcat, i hereby vote you as the one worst challenge giver in the whole of this thread, no, in the whole universe!

How the **** are you supposed to evolve into nothing? "Oh look, i'm Eevee, i can't pick which of the seven i like best, so i'll just magically delete myself from existence!"

This has absolutely nothing to do with a scramble, but in my LeafGreen I randomly talked to a rocket in celedon city and here's what he said;

"What are you staring at? Get lost, or I'll punch you."

BEST THREAT EVER. I loled so hard.

Sorry for the lack of updates guys. I've been very busy with applying for work and volunteering and buying textbooks for the new semester and saying good bye to all my friends and meeting up with them and other general stuff I've been doing.

I'll promise that on Sunday, I'll devote at least 2 hours into the challenge.

Edit: Oh and I got past the cycling road and escorted that girl back to the entrance of the cave. That is until my brother turned off my emulator. He thought it'd be amusing.

Alright, I finished my Hard mode Leafgreen challenge.

Texas, once you acquire the Super Rod, go back to Pallet Town and use it. You must catch the first Pokemon to appear;

If it's a Krabby or Kingler it may not know any Physical Attacks
If it's a Staryu it may not learn Thunderbolt or Ice Beam
If it's a Gyarados, you must use Tm44 on it, and it may never forget it.
If it's a Slowpoke it must use Disable to lead every battle you use it in
texas, your starter shall be a charmander that may NEVER use stab moves. Name it FireBEAST. Charmander can't evolve. Charmander can't learn Dragon Claw, Brick Break or Slash. It always has to be the lowest levelled poke of your party.
Mr. Cloverleaf,

Take an Exeggcute, and name it Exeggcute. Teach is Either Poisonpowder or Stun Spore, Barrage, Sunny Day, and nothing else by the Elite Four. Evolve it before level 30.
You want 'em hard, eh, ok take a Oddish named garbanzo. It must solo gary's fire type in lavender town and silph co to evolve into a weepinbell and must solo gary's fire type and kadabra before victory road to evolve into a victrebel. Your lucky I gave you something with sleep powder, I almost didn't.
@Texas Cloverleaf, take a Machop named Crippled. It can only use Physical attacks if they're not very effective. To evolve to Machoke, it must either solo every ghost lady (can't remember their name) in Lavender Tower without going back to the Pokemon Center, or solo one of Erika, Sabrina, and Koga without any items. To evolve to Machamp, it must do both.

The team upon completion of the league:

Charmander lv 40, Relaxed, Blaze
Focus Punch/Double Team/Rock Slide/Aerial Ace

While he quickly fell behind in power and levels after Lavender he was still able to be useful, making a cameo against Koga and Bruno, the latter time allowing Gyarados to reset-up and sweep.

Exeggutor lv 46, Docile, Chloropyll
Barrage/Sunny Day/Hypnosis

Despite being a tank most of the game after I reached Two Island and finalized her moveset she became pretty much deadweight. I also learned that Exegcutor does not learn Stun Spore or Poisonpowder by move relearner :/ oh well. Good Game Eggy.

MVP

Vileplume lv 56, Serious, Chlorophyll
Double Edge/Sleep Powder/Giga Drain/Synthesis

My favourite mon this round was a beast! Her usage dwindled from Silph CO. until the Elite Four but her tankish stats and her ridiculously easy levelling made her the MVP of the challenge.

LVP

Machamp lv 53, Lonely, Guts
Flamethrower/Thuderpunch/Ice Punch/Cross Chop

Despite having an amazing moveset for the challenge Machamp's Sp.Atk stat was unfortunately too poor for Machamp to be effective, rarely OHKOing unless quad-effective. Despite that he did provide some humor, OHKOing Sabrina's MR. Mime, Kadabra and Alakazam with Cross Chop while they Calm Minded.

Flareon lv 57, Adamant, Flash Fire
Return/Shadow Ball/Dig/Overheat

The main powerhouse for my team. Although he initially had some movepool issues after acquiring Shadow Ball and Return his power skyrocketed. He was my go-to-guy and would easily be the MVP were it nit for Vileplumes reliability.

Gyarados lv 60, Mild, Intimidate
Strength/Earthquake/Dragon Dance/Rest
Upon completion of his moveset Gyarados became the most fearsome sweeper in Kanto. Lorelei, Bruno, Lance and Gee (Rival) fell before his power. When the tried to wear him down with status Rest made him invincible. The Mild nature even helped boost the power of Surf in the mid-game. The only reason he is not the MVP of the challenge was his restricted movepoll early. Despite that his destructive force makes him the MVP of the Elite Four.

That concludes my Hard mode LeafGreen challenge. Many thanks to zdrup15 and detroitlolcat for providing me with the stupid hard challenges that made this run so fun. Many thanks to doomvendingmachine, Raseri, and the guy who porvided me with the Flareon (sorry for forgetting about you in the challenges) for making this run doable. Finally, many annoyances to auramaster for providing me with his jackass Machamp (jk).

so you're saying you didn't use my charmander after lavender? Hum, that's kinda disappointing...
Well at least you posted something here. This thread was becoming a desert. Let's hope it's just the ansiety b4 the Awards

Yeah after that point I obtained Flareon and Gyarados and it took until about Saffron for them to catch-up... at which point it was around 1:00 AM and I was just dying to get to Two Island.

Hopefully the thread will pick up again soon. I'm probably going to take a Platinum challenge with the same rules as Sprocket's old one on Monday.

EDIT: Vileplume=Tank. I was initially going to have him solo Gary every time to make it harder but after some Pidgeotto hax when I hadn't saved in forever I reverted to your challenge.

well doom, campaigns aren't illegal but I think yours, as you may have realised, may be the only one already decided. At least it had great compliments.
Also, as noone rejected the idea, I will post the categories and open the voting period soon

I'm about to take on the elite 4 with my horribly underleveled and gimped team :D

t.Clover (Blastoise) Lv. 38
-Bubblebeam
-Ice Beam
-Earthquake
-Strength

Beedrill Lv. 39
-Agility
-Pin Missile
-Twinneedle
-Cut

Nidorina Lv. 37
-Scratch
-Bite
-Poison Sting
-Thunderbolt

Cloyster Lv. 38
-Tri Attack
-Clamp
-Blizzard
-Toxic

MyBoat (Lapras) Lv. 38
-Surf
-Body Slam
-Confuse Ray
-Psychic

@&%'M#*&$! Lv. 100
-Swords Dance
-Take Down
-Sky Attack
-Fly

The movesets suck and could be better, I don't need anyone to tell me that lol. Well, here goes!

EDIT: posting the battles down below, and I forgot MyBoat in the lineup ):

Sprocket

P(n) = 1 - (1 - P(1))^n
Hopefully the thread will pick up again soon. I'm probably going to take a Platinum challenge with the same rules as Sprocket's old one on Monday.
Non-evolution challenge, but any Pokemon in the Pokedex?

In that case, if trades are allowed, your starter will be what I started with: Chikorita. If no trading, you get Turtwig instead.

Damn I was thinking of a different challenge. I'll post the rules I'll use:
- Scramble challange on Platinum
- I will trade in eggs of the Pokemon, hatch them on Platinum and then trade back to SS/Pearl until I achieve badges. They will be levelled to the highest mon from the previous gym's level. Roark=lv 14, Gardenia=23, Fantina=25, Maylene=31, Crasher Wake=38
- No gay-ass pokemon (Magikarp, Feebas etc.)
- No Bug, Electric or Grass type mons
- Exceptions may be granted to the above rule if the mon is dual-typed
- If posting one from the above types (dual-typed) please provide an alternative to choose from

Sorry Sprocket I should have been clearer on the challenge. I meant the challenge where somebody used a Bonsly as a starter and had a Beldum and a Pupitar.

On a side note, does anybody know at what point you can trade eggs in on FR/LG and in D/P/Pt. I know in HG/SS it's after the Pokedex...

EDIT: Also, this challenge is not intended to have the same difficulty level as my LG one. Just give me normal challenges please.

EDIT2: Also, no traditional starters except Treecko. Those being Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, Torchic, Chimchar, Piplup, Turtwig.
I herd u liek Treecko's.

I was just kidding about campaigning anyway. Nanoswine, good luck with that e4 challenge. Your team looks horribly underleveled though

Edit: given me a minute cloverleaf and I'll give you a pokemon that deffinitly won't be your MVP.
