I have never had one conversation with sweep before so I don't see how that can reflect on me. Koko if someone posted specifically about you getting ghosted in a tournament semi how happy would you be?

I have no dog in this fight, just saying that the log provided by Snutch proves nothing RE: Edgar or New Breed. Whoever "Bearr" is should be questioned, no doubt about it.

And confirming that I don't even know New Breed, I just hate to see vague logs get posted as taken as fact without context.

Hello, I have some legitimate concerns about my Uber Slam opponent being ghosted by none other than Eo Ut Mortus. Please read this log for confirmation:

After a PM conversation with Heist, Furai and Bad Ass where we tried to find a time for them to play, it became obvious that even with an extension, Heist will not be able to complete the match. For this reason, Bad Ass gets the win.

Let's talk about the other semifinal now, Ciele vs New Breed. We got two screen captures from skype that are pretty interesting: http://puu.sh/51914 and http://puu.sh/5191Q. These two screen captures show that Edgar (blackstardust) and Bearr (CTC) planned to help New Breed winning against Ciele (and reaching the playoffs).

After that, Bloo spoke to CTC to find out what was going on. CTC stated that New Breed plays on his own, and while he doesn't particularly remember saying what was posted in Snunch's log, he acknowledged he may have said it and that the whole thing may have been a joke. Identity

I expect many battles to be completed under alts and I expect many battles to be completed on other servers to prevent scouting. These kind of factors are pretty bad for tournament security, and thus I will make this clear: If I hear any whispers of identity theft (battling as someone you are not) or proxy battling (helping someone else battle through pm) I will not be pleased and I will take severe actions.

The rules are clear on this point. Ghosting is prohibited. We decided that New Breed, CTC and blackstardust will be banned from Smogon's Tournaments from now until the end of the year (two months). They will be removed from the Grand Slam Standings, and will forfeit any Open they are still playing. They are allowed to finish any other Tournament they are still playing (in New Breed and blackstardust cases of course, I doubt CTC is currently playing in any tournament since he is forum banned at the moment).
