Here is the team for Round 7: Credit goes to Halcyon for building it!

Venusaur-Mega @ Venusaurite
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 232 HP / 252 SpA / 24 Spe
Modest Nature
- Giga Drain
- Sludge Bomb
- Hidden Power [Fire]
- Synthesis

Talonflame
Ability: Gale Wings
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Atk / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Acrobatics
- Taunt
- Bulk Up
- Roost

Gengar @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Shadow Ball
- Sludge Wave
- Focus Blast
- Taunt

Skarmory @ Leftovers
Ability: Keen Eye
EVs: 252 HP / 232 SpD / 24 Spe
Careful Nature
- Spikes
- Taunt
- Roost
- Iron Head

Garchomp @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 252 HP / 160 Def / 96 Spe
Impish Nature
- Earthquake
- Dragon Tail
- Stealth Rock
- Endure

Slowbro @ Leftovers
Ability: Regenerator
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Psyshock
- Calm Mind
- Slack Off

Kyurem-Black @ Life Orb
Ability: Teravolt
EVs: 20 Atk / 252 SpA / 236 Spe
Mild Nature
- Ice Beam
- Earth Power
- Fusion Bolt
- Roost

Manaphy @ Leftovers
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 80 HP / 252 SpA / 176 Spe
Timid Nature
- Scald
- Tail Glow
- Psychic
- Energy Ball

This team is fairly slow and all slow teams are weak to stallbreakers. Manaphy lures and kills Mega Venu and Slowbro, and sets up on Slowbro and Skarm. +3 Scald isnt very easy for Garchomp to switch into either. Kyurem-B decimates everything. You also put Keen Eye Skarmory AM Edit: Hehehehehe

Thundurus @ Leftovers
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Nasty Plot
- Thunderbolt
- Hidden Power Ice
- Psychic

Feraligatr @ Life Orb
Ability: Sheer Force
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Dance
- Waterfall
- Crunch
- Ice Punch

This Thundurus set beats everything on its own - lures M-Venu and Gengar with psychic, beats Talon, Skarm and Slowbro with thunderbolt, and nails Chomp with HP ice. If he sets up a nasty plot (easy vs Bro or Skarm, also Talon and Chomp if he forces them out) he then outspeeds and OHKOs literally the entire team, apart from Venu which is a 43.8% roll (guaranteed OHKO after rocks).

Feraligatr picks up the slack if needed - with his water/dark/ice coverage he easily beats Chomp, Bro, Talon, and Gengar, and at +1 seriously dents Skarm and Venu too. Again, he finds plenty of set-up opportunities vs Skarm and Bro (and Talon and Chomp which he can also force out) after which he also outspeeds the entire team.

The Thundurus-I above was the first thing that came to my mind as well! Here is a more defensive approach:

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Toxic

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 248 HP / 192 SpD / 68 Spe
Calm Nature
- Lava Plume
- Toxic
- Protect
- Stealth Rock

Sableye: This annoying little guy is pretty troublesome for the team. Double status isn't too common on eye, but it lures the common fire types that enjoy switching in on you, like Charizard-Y and the Talonflame above. Aside from that, Sableye stops Skarmory and Garchomp from laying down hazards and takes on Gengar decently well. With Heatran, it parks itself on top of the team without much trouble.

Heatran: Walls Venusaur, Skarmory, and Talonflame once it's poisoned. It also sets up SR without many issues, which is useful since the chosen team doesn't have Defog or Rapid Spin. I like Protect instead of Taunt in this case to stall things better once poisoned.

On a serious note, I'll probably ask this to get locked with the activity being so low each week. If possible, more activity would be nice, otherwise I might just pass this on to someone else.

The winner is Core 1 lol, and I'm reserving Mega Gardevoir+Talonflame

Keldeo + Mega Metagross

Metagross-Mega @ Metagrossite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Meteor Mash
- Zen Headbutt
- Pursuit
- Bullet Punch

Keldeo @ Choice Specs
Ability: Justified
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Hydro Pump
- Hidden Power [Electric]

Mega Meta + Keldeo is a very standard core that was popular at the start of ORAS and is still pretty effective now. Metagross can remove Lati through Pursuit and Latios lacks HP Fire/EQ to hit Meta. Once Lati goes down, Keldeo can basically run train on this team since Venu is very easily worn down by Scald burn as well as being handled pretty well by Metagross. Manaphy can take a hit from both but cannot switch into either for fear of getting 2HKO'd by either one. Even Weavile, which normally would remove Metagross once it got worn down a bit, gets blown back by BP Metagross and of course cannot beat Keld.

Serperior @ Life Orb
Ability: Contrary
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Leaf Storm
- Dragon Pulse
- Hidden Power Fire
- Glare

Heatran @ Leftovers
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Magma Storm
- Earth Power
- Taunt
- Toxic

Serperior and Heatran make a great core, as Heatran takes care of the majority of Serp's problem mons, paving the way for late-game sweep.

Serperior easily beats Manaphy and Hippowdon whilst simultaneously boosting its attack with leaf storm. It also beats Scizor and Latios with its coverage providing it can get a leaf storm boost on the switch. With its fire/steel typing, Heatran walls Latios, Weavile, Scizor, and Venusaur. Magma storm OHKOs Weavile and traps and wears down Venu and Lati, meanwhile taunt prevents synthesis/roost meaning they can do nothing but die from magma storm damage while Tran shrugs off their attacks and recovers health with leftovers. With the problem mons gone, Serperior is then free to accumulate leaf storm boosts and sweep what remains.

Don't let your memes be dreams

Clefable @ Leftovers
Ability: Unaware
EVs: 248 HP / 252 Def / 8 SpD
Bold Nature
- Moonblast
- Heal Bell
- Wish
- Protect

Sableye @ Sablenite
Ability: Prankster
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Def / 144 SpD
Careful Nature
- Knock Off
- Will-O-Wisp
- Recover
- Foul Play

The only things that prevents Clefable from completely stalling out this team are Mega Venusaur and hazards + prediction skills. Because Manaphy lacks Rain Dance, Clefable is able to stop it even without SpD investment, and the other pokemon bar Mega Venusaur are also unable to 2hko Unaware Manaphy. The only thing bar Mega Venusaur that can prevent Clefable from winning is setting up Stealth Rocks with Hippowdon, and keep offensive pressure with Latios, Weavile and Manaphy to eventually break Clefable.
Unfortunately, Mega Sableye is here to both stop Mega Venusaur and stop Hippowdon from setting up Stealth Rocks. It is also a good secondary stop to Weavile and it also lets Latios think twice before clicking Psyshock predicting the Clefable.

Volcarona @ Life Orb
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
- Quiver Dance
- Fire Blast
- Giga Drain
- Bug Buzz

Empoleon @ Leftovers
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 248 HP / 8 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Scald
- Roar / Protect
- Toxic
- Defog

LO Volcarona cleans the team after a QD. +1 Fire Blast does 106.6 - 125.7% to Hippo, and the remainder of the team is KO'd by your other coverage moves. Timid has an 81.3% chance to kill Hippo and can be used over Modest, but guaranteeing the kill is always nice. LO makes this moth soooo darn strong, breaking past things like AV Tornadus-T and Altaria much easier. So even though Passho Berry and Lum Berry are the item of choice the majority of time, LO definitely has some other uses aside from countering this team =p

Empoleon is here to provide hazard removal and provide a switch-in to Latios and especially Manaphy. Empoleon should keep those two at bay long enough for Volc to find a QD opportunity later. I was considering nominating Excadrill alongside Volcarona, but the core would be too weak to Manaphy, leading me to pick the penguin instead.

Suicune @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 4 SpD / 20 Spe
Bold Nature
- Scald
- Calm Mind
- Rest
- Roar

Latios @ Life Orb
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 4 Def / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Draco Meteor
- Psyshock
- Memento / Calm Mind
- Roost

CroCune can overwhelm the entire team if it got a Calm Mind up, which it can easily grab in front of Scizor, Weavile, Hippowdon and a -2 Latios. It can also Roar out Manaphy and Latios who attempts to boost alongside it and can beat Mega Venusaur 1 v 1 if it is already at +1 when Venusaur comes in. Latios is added to the core to handle Manaphy and Mega Venusaur more reliably. It also lures in Scizor, Hippowdon and Weavile which are set-up bait for Suicune while also pressuring the opposition Latios to click Draco Meteor, which allows you to cheese your way to victory afterwards. Memento is used to give Suicune the opportunity to set-up, which allows it to overwhelm the opponent. However, Calm Mind is also viable to allow Latios to threaten various balance builds.
