Scarlet the Vulpix

Vulpix(*) [Scarlet] (F)

Nature:Modest (Adds One (1) Rank to Special Attack; Subtracts One (1) Rank From Attack)

Personality: Scarlet was my first Pokemon. We dreamed together of become great (or at least better than mediocre) that is why to this day she strategies. She gives me the best ones and we compare notes telepathically. She is calm never losing her cool and very modest. One of my best.

Type:
Fire: Fire STAB; immune to burn, 50% reduction in freeze chance, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Superior senses in volcanic or brushfire areas.

Abilities:
Flash Fire:(Innate)
This Pokemon thrives in high temperatures, and takes the energy of any opposing fire attack, nullifies the damage, and uses the additional power to boost its own fire attack’s Base Attack Power by two (2). Self-targeted attacks do not give the boost.

(DW) Drought:(Innate)
When this Pokemon is sent out it summons blistering sunlight that scorches the field and does not end, expending 10% of its energy to do so. [Add (DW) after ability name if it's Dream World Ability](LOCKED)

(Formula: ACC Boost = (New Base^2)/Divisor [Round Normally, Max: 30]). The Divisor is 870 for fully evolved Pokemon, 580 for Pokemon that are the second of three stages, 435 for Pokemon that are the first of two stages, and 290 for Pokemon that are the first of three stages. Personality: (to be added)

Type:

Abilities:
Run Away: (Innate)
This Pokemon is quick on its feet and will evade any field traps and hazards that would harm it (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes) in an arena. A Pokemon can still absorb Toxic Spikes if it has Run Away and is Poison-typed. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to switch out of trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.

Pick Up: (Innate)
This Pokemon has a natural habit of collecting items. Whenever a hold item (its own or an opponents) is used or knocked onto the ground with a move like Knock Off, this Pokemon will immediately pick up that item without using an action. It can also grab dropped or naturally occuring hold items in arenas.

(DW)Skill Link: (Innate)

Type: Rock
Rock: Rock STAB; Take 2 less damage from all special attacks during Sandstorm. Able to use Sand Tomb without losing focus.

Abilities: Levitate, Technician
Levitate: (Trait) This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading Ground moves like Bulldoze, Dig, Earthquake, and Magnitude. Other Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.
Technician: (Innate) This Pokemon is more skilled at performing weaker moves, causing any of their attacks that normally deal 6 or below base damage to have their base damage multiplied by 1.5. (e.g. Aerial Ace goes from 6 to 9, Mach Punch goes from 4 to 6, etc.) The Energy Cost for a one-hit or two-hit attack is increased by one (1). Each hit in a multi-hit move is boosted by one (1) damage, and the Energy Cost for multi-hit attacks is increased by two (2).
Mold Breaker (DW): (Innate) Whenever this Pokemon attacks, it emits an invisible, blindingly quick pulse preceding the attack that disables the opponents natural abilities (e.g. Levitators plummet towards the ground before Earthquake hits, Volt Absorb will not absorb electric attacks, Clear Body does not prevent stat-drops, etc.)

Also, if there was a non-(ASB Arena) arena, let me know

"Thank you for gracing us with your presence Mog. This battle will be a great way to experiment with the uses of weather!"

"Yue, while you don't rely on weather, I'd like to see how well you fair. Do your best ma'am!"

Well thanks for having me toast! Glad this is finally up.
I will start out with Dexter

Screech - shadow claw - shadow claw

NOTE TO JAY: The arena was actually a pretty big arena, so it's important that it's in here...

Arena: Environmental Testing Facilities
Field Type: Water, Fire, Ice
Complexity: Intense
Format: Any

Restrictions: No Weather Changing moves. Abilities that alter stats based on Weather are immediately activated once the appropriate weather is in effect.

Description: The pokemon battle in a massive dome-shaped building used as a testing facility to experiment with the forces of nature. Enormous sprinklers, snow machines, and heat lamps line the walls and cieling of the dome. At the end of the round, a server randomly generates a number between 1 and 7, and the respective weather programming is utilyzed in the arena.

1. No Weather - No abilities or moves are affected.

2. Rain - The sprinkler system emits several thousand gallons of water consecutively to simulate Rain. Water type moves are strengthened, Fire type moves are weakened, all Rain based abilities are activated, Solarbeam is weakened, Synthesis, Moonlight, and Morning sun all restore less HPand Thunder and Hurricane have perfect accuracy.

3. Hail - The snow machines chop up, and shoot, several hundred tons of ice to simulate a Hail storm. Blizzard has 100% Accuracy, all non-ice types are hurt by the hail while it's in effect, Solarbeam is weakened, Synthesis, Moonlight, and Morning sun all restore less HP, and all Hail based abilities are activated, and Thunder has less accuracy.

4. Sun - The heat lamps are set to their highest settings to simulate intense Sunlight. Solarbeam is strengthened and doesn't require time to charge, Fire type moves are strengthened, Water type moves are weakened, all Sun based abilities are activated, Synthesis, Moonlight, and Morning Sun restore more HP, and Thunder and Hurricane have less accuracy.

5. Slush Storm - Both the Sprinkler Systems AND the Snow Machines are activated, creating a frosty storm consisting of slush and chunks of ice. Water type moves and Ice type moves are strengthened, Fire type moves and Ice type moves are weakened. All Rain and Hail based abilities are activated, Solarbeam is weakened, Synthesis, Moonlight, and Morning sun all restore less HP, and Thunder has normal accuracy, while Hurricane has perfect accuracy. Ice type moves and water type moves both have an additional 10% chance of causing the opponent to freeze. Pokemon with the Forecast ability turn into it's Trainer's choice of the two potential forms (Hail and Rain).

6. Tropical Rain - Both the Sprinkler Systems AND the Heat Lamps are activated, creating a steaming hot rainfall. Fire and Water type moves are strengthened. Solarbeam functions normally, as do Synthesis, Moonlight, Morning Sun, Thunder, and Hurricane. All Water type moves have an additional 10% chance to cause a burn, while Fire type moves have a 10% chance of creating steam that lowers the opponent's accuracy. All Sun and Rain based abilities are activated, and Ice type moves are weakened, whilst having no chance of freezing. Pokemon with the Forecast ability turn into it's Trainer's choice of the two potential forms (Sunand Rain).

7. Dry Ice Storm - Both the Heat Lamps AND the Snow Machines are in use, whilst shooting cubes of dry ice throughout the dome, and removing all the moisture in the air. Synthesis, Moonlight, Morning Sun, and Moonlight all function normally. Ice and Fire type moves are strengthened, while having an additional 10% chance to burn AND an additional 10% chance to freeze. Water type moves are weakened and lose their effects. Blizzard has perfect accuracy, while Thunder and Hurricane both have less accuracy. Pokemon with the Forecast ability turn into it's Trainer's choice of the two potential forms (Hail and Sun).

This round's weather is normal, but remember this for the end of this round's reffing.

"Hmmmmm, trying to take the offensive? Let's slow him down a little, Yue."

15 HP Sub -> Disable Shadow Claw -> Toxic

One more question, how the f*ck does Weather Ball work here?

Anyways, after my volley of questions, Aipom lets off a loud Screech aimed at Duskull. Duskull sets up a Substitute by sacrificing a portion of its HP.

Aipom uses a shadowy claw attack, which nearly destroys the Substitute, but the Substitute is still intact so Duskull uses Disable to stop the little monkey from using Shadow Claw for a while.

Aipom was disabled so it couldn't do anything to stop Duskull from giving it a Toxic.

At the end of the round, I blindfolded myself and started smashing the facility's control panel until something happened, and it started raining.

Baseball-sized hail rain down in the complex, causing severe bruising on both combatants. Trying to shake it off, Dexter releases a harsh screech between his teeth dropping Yue's constitution even lower than before and she responds with a light doppelganger to this threat. The cheeky monkey shouts, fracturing Yue's doll, while she seals off Dexter's tongue. He tries to shout again, but to no avail, allowing the Duskull to rush into the monkey for light damage.

As the weather shifts into a dry, searing chill, Dexter staggers, clutching his stomach as the toxins worsen in his body.

Dexter launches upon his foe with impunity, raking Yue's Substitute in two. With her decoy demolished, Yue coats herself in a destructive aura, charging straight into the monkey. Yue charges again, however the lithe Dexter effortlessly dodges using his agility and reflexes. Now frustrated, the poor Duskull coats herself with so much destructive force, it burns through her wispy body. Dexter meets her with his claws coated deep in negative energies and they both clash in the middle of the facility.

As the smoke clears, the regal Princess Yue lies crumpled across the floor, worn out by her own endeavor. Dexter succeeds in besting his foe, but with his skin turning a sick gray hue, his time won't be long.

LET'S ROCK!

We interrupt this match for a message from the The Boulder.

From what The Boulder knows and hears, his opponents are a ghost, a fox, and a monkey. So that's what they're throwing at The Boulder now? A travelling posse of clowns? The Boulder should be insulted for being pitted against a group of jabronis, but you see, The Boulder shall take this all in stride. Maybe they couldn't think of better opponents, better opposition, or better competition because we all know The Boulder is just going to layeth the smackdown time and time again!

First the monkey. A monkey that does nothing more shriek and scream ATATATATATA, then roll around and fall dead because he couldn't comprehend even touching The Boulder. You see, all he can do is land one attack, ONE attack on The Boulder before he crumples from The Boulder's sheer might.

Second is the fox. A fox that can breathe fire. The Boulder's gotta admit, she makes pretty good barbecue. However, The Boulder can do better than barbecues! The Boulder can pull diamonds straight FROM THE GROUND. They say that diamonds are a girl's best friend. But this is no Fruity Pebbles, oh no! This is The Boulder, who's going to go Yabba Dabba all over your candy ass!

Lastly, is that ghost. And I must say, who in the blue hell are you? What are you supposed to be? Are you a ghost? A ball of gas? Smog? A raincloud? The moon? IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU ARE! The Boulder will tear you down, just like the rest of The Boulder's enemies, for he is backed by the billions, and I mean BILLIONS of The Boulder's fans, chanting his name "Boulder! Boulder! Boulder! Boulder!"

You may all be big, but you're not bad! By the end of the day, The Boulder is going to win this in a landslide! He will do what he does best - The Boulder will come into the arena and bury all of you in a Rocklanche on all your candy asses!

NOW, DO YOU TASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE what The Boulder is brewin'?

LET'S ROCK!

The Boulder fires off an antimatter orb upon his wispy opponent before Aches can even shake a stick at him. Reeling from the strong hit, Aches sends Boulder's mind spinning with a hallucinatory ray of light. Even with his mind in a haze, The Boulder draws out sharp piercing diamonds that rip through the facility's flooring and pierce through Aches's gaseous body, but not before the Gastly seals off Boulder's antimatter abilities. Our hunk of floating rock finds himself splitting across the floor in pain, while Aches uses this oppritunity to materialize himself into an icy fist and and delivers a haymaker right between the eyes.
